Nations Photo Lab enjoys a generally positive reputation for its high-quality prints and attentive customer service, with many customers praising the clarity and aesthetics of their products. However, recurring complaints highlight significant issues with order fulfillment, including delays and color inaccuracies, which have led to frustration among customers, particularly professionals relying on precise results. While the responsiveness of customer support is often acknowledged, the effectiveness of their solutions remains inconsistent, indicating a need for improved quality control and communication. Overall, while many customers express satisfaction, the company must address its operational shortcomings to enhance reliability and trust.

Upon receipt of my coffeetable book I am absolutely amazed at the quality and design of this book. After some of my family and friends have looked at this book they have made positive comments and say, Wow, this is a great way to show off your photos.
The pictures all had a gray/brown underlaying, darker colors than they should be. The only positive is that the details were great. We compared the same pictures with Walmart, yes, Walmart. Very disappointing.
Fantastic work by Nations Photo Lab, from an I Phone 11!, important for us,I was celebrating my 82th birthday with my wife and daughter.in our beloved Florence Italy our place in the world. Nations Photo Lab works let us see our moments and treasured them. Thank you again Nations Photo Lab keep the good work!
I had a set of prints done and the color was off (very green and excessive contrast) on all of them despite selecting "color correction." The customer service representative was very responsive and had them reprinted, but they were still off. I expressed my dissatisfaction and the prints were redone yet a third time. Some were acceptable, while others were over-corrected (went from too green to to magenta). I had to select prints from each set of reprints to actually get a full set of color accurate prints. The customer service was responsive, but the time and hassle was just not worth it. I've gotten better, more color accurate prints from less touted and cheaper sources.
I think real people are still working here vs AI. My photo are great. I have recently tried prints from M$&* and Au(**&^&%&. Their first few batches were great, but the last 2 patches of these were awful. So I sent these to Nations Photo Lab. The photos came back great. I suspect Nations uses real people not AI because they look like they had heart applied that only real people could edit not AI. I had gave permission to edit any flaws.
I wish I could give it more stars because the timeliness and customer service was superb, but I'm a professional Photog and I make professional books for clients. I have a high megapixel camera and formatted these images properly for high quality print and to the requirements of the website. All of the images are grainy and unclear and then in some of the photos the customers skin is very magenta. It's just not great quality printing and not what I'd expect from a professional printing service. Take the reviews of other pro photogs on here. They're right. This company is on par with Shutterfly printing not professional photo printing quality and I've tested their print quality more than a few times now.
I enthusiastically opened the pics I ordered (a combo of canvas and metal prints). So impressed with the results. The colors and clarity were stunning. I've been showing them off (except to the person they're for). They were also packaged with the utmost care and arrived pretty fast. Highly recommend!
Love my prints. They're clear and perfect. The only thing was it said I would get my prints on a certain date and I planned to have them for my guest room for the company that I was having and they didn't come in time for that. But, they're just beautiful and I'm very pleased. I got the metallic option and I am glad that I did.
I sent them PROFESSIONAL prints to copy and they are not clear. Their color correction that is INCLUDED ruined the color on alot of the prints. I will not use them again... very disappointed. If I wanted cheap bad prints, I could go to CVS...
I have been working with digital images for 30 years. When I saw a checkbox for "color correction" I took that quite literally to mean adjusting the color of my photos. I didn't want anyone messing with my color as I work hard to create the exact hue I desire. So I did not check this box. I received photos so dark they are useless. I'm not talking just a little dark, I am talking 2-3 downturns of exposure. Parts look blacked out. Now, I would have just chalked this up as a learning experience and made the adjustments and tried again but for one major problem. A few months ago I contacted Nations Lab and explained exactly what I wanted and asked if they could provide the quality I desired. I would have been more than happy to pay extra, money was not the issue. I was ensured that a technician would make sure the image looked just like it did on my screen. I understand the difference between an illuminated image and one in print and even asked if that was an issue. Because of this assurance, I didn't send just a single test image I ordered six for a small project. Seeing the poor quality, I was really dismayed and started a chat with support who promptly tried to lecture me about how this was my fault for not checking their "color" correction box. They were both condescending and using those absurd placating canned responses. Not sure why companies still do this when it is obvious with the rest of the dialogue that they just don't care and was even rather irritated that I questioned their assertions. That aside, Walgreens and Wal Mart could have easily achieved the same quality as this company. They just plug it into the same type of printer everyone else uses with the same algorithms and hit auto print. There is nothing special to be gained here. Just a greater disappointment.
They had photo books on sale. I tried three times to order a photo book from their site, but the the site kept erroring out. There was a polite error message but that didn't really make up for all the time I lost. A couple days later, I went back to the site and used their chat to find out if I could still get the sale price, given that it was their fault that I couldn't place my order during the sale. They wouldn't honor the sale price, nor did they offer anything to compensate me for my lost time and frustration. In this day and age, that lack of customer service is simply not acceptable. They must have expected this kind of review and must be okay with it, which further tells me that other customers should not expect reliable service from them. I shudder to think what would happen if my prints were not as expected. I'd stay away from them.
This is a horrible business. Promise 4 to 5 days... ordered Nov 15th it is now the 22nd and still not done. Paid $30. For overnight shipping they willnot ship in time and refuse to refund my money. This was an anniversary present... so thanks alot for ruining it! NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY
The worst customer service. Don't count on your orders being on time or even shipped and when they aren't be prepared to be asked to pay for the reprints. If you value your customerst don't give them expected arrival times on the products you order.
I am very pleased with all my 11 x 14 photo enlargements, as they are excellent. NPL consistently does excellent work and I would recommend NPL to anyone who wants the best results from their digital images.
Don't use this company! I had a deadline to meet and the merchandise was not here on time. Even though I paid the 2nd day shipping cost. 5 days later, the product still wasn't here. Then when it finally arrived all most every button I has ordered was cropped so horrible that I couldn't give it to my client. So disappointed! This company probably cost me from getting this certain account again next year. Also, spoke with them several times and everything I called in the rep acted like they didn't know what I was calling about. So annoyed I could cry and scream!
I have been using NPL for about 4 months now. The customer service is great I just dont like the answering service which is used after hours, they dont have any knowledge on products and for the time I called they could only take a message which is no help at all. I live outside of the US and perfer all of my items to be ship bundled they do offer this service at additional cost to ship internationally but I have a US address and just perfer all of my items to arrive the same time. They do send notice or called if there is a query on you order. I am still getting familar with the ROES system which works pretty good. I like that they have regular sales going on. BRANDON, CHRISTA & COURTNEY where always so patient with me when i called and their service to me has been excellent so far. Over all if you are looking for a new lab, I recommend them.
Thanks NPL
Satisfied customer D. P.
I love their service, fast turnaround and beautiful finished products! Recommend to everyone!
I love love love NPL. I have nothing but great experience with them. The few times I had minor problems (for example one print out of 60 came bent), they were happy to reprint and resend for absolutely free. I can't understand where the weird negative comments on this site come from, like the commentor with the weird charge that appeared, or the commentor that said they don't care about art. I am a Nature photographer and they have treated me and my projects with great professionalism. There customer service is top notch. Simply the best!
I've been using Nations Photo Labs now for about a year. I've had approx. 30 orders processed through them. A few times I've had problems trying to navigate the ordering system, and each time, whether it's via online chat or on the phone, the rep was VERY helpful in navigating or fixing the issue. My prints come back very professional looking, exactly as the picture was taken, and exactly as I ordered. My customers are happy, and as long as they're happy, I am happy!
Shame on them. My 6 x 4 pictures came out croped as if they were in the 4 x 6 format. I never knew i had to rotate then into the 4x6. I had to rotate them in my computer's folder. Because in the new ROES application you won't see how you can rotate them. I had to re-order all those prints. And the picture size 16 x 20 was rather in the 20 x 16, i had to re-order and rotate the pictures before placing the order. They don't have the 6x4 size format, ( landscape), they only have the 4x6 ( portrait). So if you order 6x4, you better rotate them. If they saw how the pictures were being printed they didn't care rotate them. Shame on them. The new ROES lay out is very, very confusing.
