Wasted $2 signing up to have my inbox filled up with junk email. Instructions videos amateurish and the content limited, unless you pay more for upgraded membership. No thank you learned my lesson on$2
I love the lessons and at the moment am learning lots. I seem to find a lot of things I can do but I only joined a few weeks ago. I did not pay much to join so is great value. Think the problem is thats its automatic renewal after one year and the price goes up drastically. I will have a better idea if its worth that price after one year but I'm sure you can cancel via email.
Why do some of these instructors use almost the same color of fabric and thread instead of contrasting colors. It seems like their making something personal rather than instructional. The dvd cover is different from actual veiwing
I paid $7 for a introductory subscription. After they got my money I never heard from them again until it was time to send out more offers like the first one I received. I "chatted" to someone about this and they extended my subscription. Today I received another invitation and went through the same conversation with "Becky". I think I am giving up on this waste of $7 and my time.
I never even signed up for this class/program and they took $135.00 out of my account. I have never even heard of these people or this company. They will not answer their phone! I had to call my credit card company to have the charge removed and I got another credit card to eliminate them from doing it again.
Crooks, Crooks, Crooks!
I kept getting these emails to sign up for 80% off the initial year ($5) and I was going to have "Premium" membership. Access to videos, lessons, etc. The only thing it gives you access to is more and more emails to upgrade your membership to "Gold" so you can access videos, lessons, etc. It is a RIPOFF! Stay away.
I gave National Sewing Circle a chance and signed up for a membership... I was dissappointed to immediately begin receiving frequent emails from them that were spammy... always with lots of links to sewing project videos yet you have to click on every link to see what it is (major pain), and the images you do get in the emails are advertisements and for things that are absolutely no interest to me. Utilizing the website wasn't much better.
I called to cancel and mostly to be sure they removed me from automatic annual renewal (since the only option at the time of signing up was to agree to annual renewal - very annoying). Spoke with a man named Nathan who told me they would cancel my membership and renewal but that they were too busy to send me a cancelation confirmation. Seriously? To busy for my business then. Unprofessional all around.
They lure you in with a cheap introductory rate, then charge your card far ahead of your expiration date and DON'T offer refunds. When you contact them, you get the "It was all in the introductory email we sent you" line. If you do take them up on the cheap rate, go IMMEDIATELY to your account and turn off auto renewal.
I have just had money taken from my account for a membership that has been cancelled. I'm being taken round and round in circles and I'm still not able to get a refund back
I was billed $2 and they took $72 from my account! This is totally unexceptable! Crooks and scammers!
