There is a serious problem with predatory lending and the distribution of wealth in America and NACA is genuinely here to help. Yes, it can feel like the process moves slowly sometimes, but that's due to the overwhelming number of people needing NACA's assistance and using their service. My counselor, Katya Walker is amazing, not only does she know the the NACA program backwards and forwards and bust her butt for me, but she is a bonafide crusader for the disadvantaged. I can't sing NACA's or Katya's praises loudly enough.
It may take a little time, but they will do right by you.

I attended a NACA workshop and was pleased tremendously by the professional manner in which the counselors provided assistance. Although it is a tedious process, the counselors provide excellent assistance throughout the process. The bottom line is that NACA is a great program and I recommend it completely.
I highly recommend Naca program to purchase your first home. There are a lot of benefits, and people are very helpful and kind, giving you all the support during the preparation process.
There is no down payment, no closing costs, no private mortgage insurance, can it get any better? Make sure you provide the documents needed to expedite the process.
NACA is getting worse; requiring nonsense details or documents, want to control what you spend for eating and so, the worst part is NACA is requiring you to pay getting your employment data from Equifax. It's going too far. Am on the house search, however, I couldn't buy a house I am looking for because of NACA's ridiculous lengthy process. I can understand that why NACA exist at first place, but...
After hearing about NACA through my sister, I decided to do some research and I was interested in how you didn't have to put any money down or any closing. I eventually started my NACA journey, recently conversed with my counselor, who was very nice, patient and easy to talk to and also answered all of my questions. So far everything is going well, and being that we are still in an ongoing pandemic, I do know I have to be patient and willing to comply with every step I have to take throughout this whole process. I am so ready to become a homeowner and be able to share more about my journey with NACA in the future.
This process is great for people who are trying to re-establish themselves and want to know really what they can qualify for and not get caught up with what traditional lending says.
I am currently in process of finishing the paperwork stage, that was a bit difficult, but worth it I'm sure. Looking forward to finishing this process and moving on, to the finale!
I have been a member with NACA since November 2021. I was really close to moving to the Home Search stage, but life happened which caused me to get off track. I few months later, I reach back out to my counselor and she dove right back in to give me the continued support I need to continue this journey. NACA Atlanta is the BEST!
I am early in this process- so far my counselor has been helpful, she makes herself available frequently - good communication. I am hopeful to move on the the next stage soon

And I am in counseling session now and I am totally satisfying now my counselor was very kind, thorough and patient. I found out about the program that offers the opportunity to buy a house. I am looking forward to the next step in the process.
Thus far, I have had a great experience with NACA program. From the start of the homebuyer workshop to my first and follow-up counseling sessions with my Counselor Nijah and my assigned Realtor! I wanted to buy my 1st home, and had no idea where to start, I looked up programs and came across NACA, I did the workshop and learned about the low interest rates and the Hand program, and I'm still in the process, but so far so good, I'm really hoping I'll be able to purchase soon. I will give an update once I have finished the entire process, until then I can only give 3 stars.
I'm still in the beginning stage and learning from research and being in various NACA groups. I can say that NACA is not for the faint of heart and if you don't have patience then this may not be the program for you. I am scheduled to meet my first mortgage counselor in May and have uploaded all my documents and trying to keep all my documents updated. Read the workbook front to back and back to front, take notes and then read it again. So far everyone I have contacted at NACA has been very helpful.
The NACA program has been great so far! My husband and I are on the road to purchasing our first home and although it is a little scary planning on making a big purchase so soon NACA has really made us feel hopeful in getting our very first home. Our counselor, Christian, has been great so far and I can't wait for what's to come!
I started the process of applying for NACA one month ago and I am pleasantly surprised with the level of support that I am receiving. I am going to be a first time homebuyer therefore the process is entirely new to me. I have had meeting with my counselor and he took the time to explain the process to me along with going over follow up questions that I had. I called one other time and he got back to me right away and cleared up something's that I was confused about.
Grateful that I heard about this program and I'm excited to start this journey with NACA.

I heard about NACA from a friend. I got so excited about the fact that there is no down payment, no closing cost, and no credit score needed it. Everywhere i go to apply for mortgage they asked me about credit score. I work with Darryl Hughes and he made this home process stressless. He is guiding me steps by steps and I feel so comfortable and not overwhelmed at all. I highly recommend this program and I already been telling everyone I know is looking to buy a house to go to NACA.

Answer: I decided to go with NACA because they don't consider your credit score and the counselors work with you to become qualified. NACA has made me more diligent with saving money by not spending on wants but needs. This method has strengthen my assets considerably.
