MyShedPlans Reviews Summary

The company faces significant criticism regarding the quality and usability of its shed plans, with many customers describing the materials as poorly drafted, incomplete, and largely sourced from free online resources. Concerns about the checkout process, upselling tactics, and difficulties in obtaining refunds further exacerbate customer dissatisfaction. While some reviews note a positive experience with the refund process, the overall sentiment leans heavily towards disappointment and frustration. The lack of effective customer support and misleading marketing claims contribute to a negative reputation, suggesting a need for improved transparency and product quality.

Not good
July 3, 2018

Scam. Five minutes after hitting the order button I was on the phone to AMEX to not pay this fraudulent scheme.

Money Wasted
December 26, 2017

I ordered these plans and expected to be able to get a 16 X 32 Gambrel shed plan. Nope, only a handful that are useless to us. We want a refund.

What a joke
November 17, 2017

Very disappointed. Several "plans" are nothing but advertisements to others vendors where additional money is required for "plans".

Absolutely Awful
October 23, 2017

I was expecting to open a file and see the beautiful drawings and descriptions that were advertised on the website. I found hand drawn scribble on copied old sketches.

I've requested a refund, but to be safe, I've stopped payment too.

Old to know better...
October 15, 2017

I am usually so good about not falling for scams... sigh

Every warning sign of a scam was there, and I stayed willfully ignorant of it because I wanted the offer to be true.

At the least, all these reviews show that there is actually a market opportunity out there for somebody to put together really good shed plans.

Where are the instructions?
September 30, 2017

Wished I had researched a bit more before I hit the "add to cart". Maybe for 6 or 8 useless sheds. Let's see how long my "100% satisfaction guarantee" refund takes.

Well I give this jerk credit for his pervasive techniques of getting people back to his website. If you see a review that says Ryans Shed Scam and click it it takes you to his website and it is not a website where you can read about his scam. THis is the biggest rip off I have ever fallen for. Everything is not as advertised. You get 2 plans bnot 12,000. You get lots of articles not books written in 1864, or 1903 and you like reading about obsolete, useless article then this is the plan for you. I am totally disgusted!
Wish there was more I could do to expose this jerk and the Click Bank that supports this crap. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Buy a book.

The merchant charged my credit card, but never sent a confirmation e-mail, or the DVD. Repeated e-mails to their customer service were ignored and never returned.

This is nothing but a pyramid scheme in disguise. Don't spend the first $37.00, they lead you to believe that you are getting discs and actual plans until you pay $37.00, then they tell you that you have to download everything but at an additional price. I'm calling the Fraud Department at the Texas State Attorney Generals office and reporting them.

Digital copies of projects in old books and magazines. Once you buy the product, you find out you have to download multiple individual files or pay $35 for CDs. Do not waste your money

Rip off
April 26, 2017

Plans not as advertised, 110 % guarantee is not true. Have been waiting for a refund which should take minutes, not weeks, some plans unreadable, difficulty to sort, was advertised as customizable, I can't figure it out,
There is no phone number, and my case is closed, a better option is to throw 2 $ 20 bills out your car window.

I'm a web developer and should have known better. All of the reviews below reflect my view. A couple of things to help you feel a little better (maybe):

ClickBank is legit and easy to work with. So, if you see ClickBank on another site, don't run off; just check for reviews (which, obviously, I didn't).

Ryan's Shed doesn't have your credit card number. ClickBank has it and will not reveal it to their vendors.

I, if anyone, should not have fallen for this. So, don't beat yourself up over it. A web developer with over a decade of experience should have spotted this a mile away!

Have to say, though... he did hire some good copywriters for his site content.

NOT as advertised. Paid approx. 45 bucks for thousands of shed plans with full materials list, got about 100 shed plans from the University of North Dakota's public archives with zero materials lists. Plans are from the 1950s. Scanned as low-res PDFs which are entirely illegible, and presented at random.

The good news is they're not selling password-protected accounts or anything, just an URL. And there's a 60-day guarantee for a full refund. And the URL never changes. I could even give it to you right here, but I don't know the law and that might be sketchy (I have more scruples than Mr. Ryan).

So I recommend paying for the basic package, browsing the terrible selection of blueprints, saving the URL, then demanding a full refund. You'll get all your money back, plus you can keep all the crummy blueprints you purchased. Just make sure you contact ClkBait (or whoever they are) directly, Ryan's shed goons will try to stall your refund if you go through them.

Save your money!
September 30, 2016

The plans are pirated copies, some from "mycabinandsheds.com" as well as scanned 100 year old books. They are basic plans of very limited value. I clicked on a link from a "Kim Komando" email and saw the add for ******* plans and I figured it was a trusted advertiser. Come to find out after contacting Komando that there are 3rd party advertisers she would take no credit for endorsing. I should have done more research before I paid for anything but after finding out it is a scam I called the *******035 click bank number and they gave me a refund with no arguing at all.

Bait and Switch
September 23, 2016

The ad shows the bright shiny new 8x12 Gabled Shed. However, after purchase, that plan does not show up anywhere. I have emailed and requested that plan several times but no response. So, thanks to those who have already posted the *******035 number for ClickBank customer support. It's a chore to work with their VRU but with patience, you can get a refund.

Scam
September 15, 2016

Never got the one shed plan I needed!
All the many plans were useless-even if I wanted to use one!
There isn't a "live" customer service-only email. No help finding my shed plan.
After realizing that no one was going to help, within the 60 day "money Back guarantee", I requested my $37 refund. Absolutely no response!
Do not send these people money-not a dime!
