The shopping experience (which is what this survey asked about the first time I took it) was pretty straightforward, but I'm not sure what else could be expected - it's just a simple online checkout like I've done tons of times before. I was sent a link directly to the course, so I didn't have to shop around to find something I wanted.

The course itself turned out not to be quite as funny as I expected, but still funnier than I would have expected from a normal defensive driving course (not offered by comedians). The standup bits were the best. The superhero skits dragged a little.

As for the content, most of it was stuff I already knew, so I was really just taking the course to prove I knew it and get an insurance discount. I was a little disappointed that there was no way to fail the course - all the tests had a minimum passing score of 0, except the last one, where the only question was "I will obey all the rules of the road" and both answers were "yes". That made me feel like I'd wasted a bunch of time reading the material and watching videos, when I could have just gone straight to the tests. It also felt like the course wasn't so much about defensive driving as just "Pay $12 now to get $25 off your insurance for the next three years!" Not that that's not a good investment, but I felt like if the idea was to make people safer drivers, maybe there should be some effort made to verify that they knew anything about safe driving.
