This is my second time taking the course. I enjoyed how the content is organized and the videos used to help reinforce important information. I also appreciate the comedy that livens up the mundane and actually inspire one to be a better driver. Thank you again. Cheers!
A little tricky initially, completing the course, it was not clear to scroll all the way to the bottom, did not see the continue button. Also, it takes you to the payment page and advises that your trial is completed, need to make a payment to complete. The process is interesting/different. Made me a little leery, the live chat helped.
The course program is very well organized and makes the main goal for a participant to improve defensive driving skill. The course is not very simple and requires some knowledge in order to pass different DMV quizzes but the correct answers will reward you in the everyday driving.
I recommend the course to people who want to improve driving skills.
I believe there is a scam going on in our Court system. When I got my ticket for 5 mph over the speed limit the sheriff told me their would be no points on my license. He didn't say I would have to pay for and take a course in order for that to happen. Then add another $8.95 charge on to that charge to file it with the Secretary of State so they wouldn't report the points to my insurance company. This is very costly when you pay the fine and have to add all these costs onto that! I'm trying to contact my state representatives and check about this deceptive practice to see if it is legal and if there is anything that can be done to stop this scam!

Clicked on it thinking it was just a confirmation but then was locked into finishing with the test even though it was late at night. Even so, thanks to the information and the notes I had made, I got 38 out of 40 correct so all is well that ends well.
Lots of hidden fees don't show up until you have to pay! Wasn't this way when I took it 4 years ago. I was really unhappy with that. I have a clean license and am only taking it for the insurance reduction -- why do I have to pay a fee to let the DMV know?
Did not like hidden fees after starting course. All fees should be made known before a person starts even if they are State added fees. People don't like to feel like they were sucked in based on a discount price only to have fees added after.
Completely pleased and satisfied with the Defensive Driving Course. It was a pleasure to take, the humor was greatly appreciated, and the content was just as detailed and useful as that in the more conventional course that my husband took. Thank you so much! Heartily recommended.
Makes taking this driving course easier. I had originally started to take the NY State course on line. After about 30 minutes into answering questions I realized that all the questions were on health, medicines and illnesses. This probably is because I am over 65. (They ask you your age at the beginning). Since I was taking a driving course and not a medical exam I got annoyed and called to cancel the course. If you go to take the course in a classroom they do not ask anything like this.
My insurance agent told us about the "myimprov" course and I took it. A few dollars more but worth it.
Myimprov.com made the whole experience simple and light hearted. And more importantly they immediately got my proof of completion to the DMV to get my case closed so i didn't have to worry about it ever again.
This is the second time that I have used improv.com for the insurance reduction program. While you may think the program is long, the use of humor makes the time spent worthwhile. When the time comes for me to take this program again to maintain the reduction in my insurance premium, you can bet that I will use improv.com!
This is a great site. I will use it again when I renew. It was both informative and fun.
My only criticism is to suggest that you make the cost much clearer. I was not told that there was a separate charge for the audio option and I ended up paying more than I expected. Also, I was under the impression that there was a special on the cost and this amount w Ias also not what I ended up paying. I did contact Customer Service via a chat, but although they gave me a refund, it also was not what I expected. I probably should have pursued this further, but I was a bit frustrated and I was able to afford the price that I paid.
I thought that since I did the actual written part of my driver's license exam over 30 years ago that it was going to be very difficult for me. That wasn't the case at all, the exam had a lot of useful information that was easy to understand and remember. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone interested because it is well designed and easy to follow and understand. The price was very reasonable too.

While it is still more expensive than what my auto insurer is offering, I am getting more for the money and after the representative Alfredo was so polite, friendly and very helpful with giving me a discount, I couldn't say no! Excellent service, easy access and easy availability to log on at your preferred times. Interesting and also makes you aware of anything that you may be doing wrong; or anything you were not aware of, and gives you the insight to correct any mistakes you make while driving.
The online session worked great until I reached my 3rd last session. The system would not accept my password any longer, even so I wrote it down and did not have a problem beforehand. I called in and a nice employee of yours listened to me and helped me finish the course. Otherwise, it was a great experience.
Price could be a bit better.
I really think that it's a good choice to take this course. I believe that as we become older that it's a good idea to remember that we tend to take driving habits for granted and I have been made more aware of the importance of keeping focused on the important things that will keep me safe on the road. Thanks for offering this course it will make a difference!
The price was lower than what I would have paid the courts, so that's always a plus. Was y to maneuver through and quizzes were short and to the point. Who knew traffic school could be so much fun and funny.
The online feature is better than sitting through a boring class. I was able to pace myself and make better use of my time.
