Terrible "prizes," clunky interface, and tedious work to participate. What a crock of crap for people who want to make it a fun experience. Coke - take a hint from every other good website out there and get some real engineers to take care of your multi-billion dollar investment. Right now, its not even worth surfing through that $#*! pile which coaxes people into sharing crap about Coke that no one really wants to do. Get your $#*! together.
Now the codes have to be entered one by one for each reward so you have to stock pile them in real life instead of digitally in your account. The program really blows! They must have been seriously spending money on this program because it looks like a huge budget cut went down.
Even though I'm sure many of the prizes were paid for by the actual prize company in the old program in exchange for their advertising, Coke doesn't have to worry about losing a penny in their rewards program now. Perhaps it was a staffing issue? I don't see the "reward" part anymore. Everyone is opting out, so I'm sure in no time they will state that they are discontinuing their program due to lack of interest. Seems like their plan at this point. Too bad!
I have no interest in Twitter or sharing anything. Now the points limit is down to 70, so my family gets behind every week. Now I get the message "promotion ended". I'm I suppose to keep these pieces of cardboard in date order? Yes, they are 14 character codes, what is the Coke method of aging out the codes. I think this "promotion ended" thing is actually a Federal Trade Commission violation. The overall value of the rewards is so low it may just be time to switch to Royal Crown Cola with my Moon Pie.
Whoever came up with this re-worked "rewards" program should be fired. Obviously seriously out of touch with reality to think consumers will go to the trouble of entering codes for the garbage they are offering on the new site. Rather than insult our intelligence by attempting to dupe us into thinking we are getting something new and better, just sunset the program entirely.
I had so many codes that were unreadable and at least 20 14 digit codes that read "sorry this promotion is now over" Coke took forever to make it right and give me new codes. Then they acted like they did me a favor. I spent money on these cokes! So now I have one last code I need to enter. I called them and asked for a 10 point increase in the code limit. I'm guessing you know they said no. It would not be fair. Well was it fair that I could not enter the codes in the first place because they suck? I'm switching to PEPSI products as I am sure they are much kinder to their customers.
If you don't text, tweet, snap and all the crap then coke no longer wants you on their site.
When you have 8 adults and 12 kids at the beach house every other weekend then the 75 points per week is a joke.
Switched to Pepsi and ginger ale and everyone is OK with that.
Goodbye Coke. Maybe one day you will realize that all us old folks still have 76% of the money in this country and we spend it with companies that respect us.
This program is really either hard to figure out or just completely lacking. I managed to get a shutterfly 8X8 hard photo book. But that was on their main page for any code. Basically a give away. Other than that, I can't do anything. This rewards system would be better if it didn't exist. It just pisses me off now. Bring back the old system or just stop, this is pathetic.
I have never seen a list of winners or a winner that won a trip, refrigerator or anything big. After they quit the last program it was horrible. Two Christmas's ago it was pretty good then this past Christmas it was like a sweepstakes thing. I know companies cut back but man, why even do this if your going to LIE to your customers. I switched from Pepsi to Coke for the rewards, time to change back. Really disappointed. I wish the company would respond to our issues.
Obviously the new system sucks. I can't even donate a thousand caps to charity for more than 50 bucks. They don't need your business. Who is really going to drink Pepsi? They get it, so why even have a reward program. At least, that is how Coke sees it. They are just a soulless corporation, not a family-friendly pillar of your community.
So I've saved all the codes since the last program ended. I was on today entering codes waiting for some sort of ''you've reached your limit for today'' entering just sweepstakes (that's pretty much all it is), when I just stopped and googled ''coke rewards suck''. Now here I am to pile on how I'm done with Coke and their stupid rewards that don't reward anymore. Loyalty for Coke ends when I ''submit my review''. Summer refreshment will no longer be with Coke products. RC cola, Pepsi, Canada Dry, whichever is on sale will be the go-to now.
I used to be really into My Coke Rewards, but haven't participated in a long time. Recently saved up several codes and returned to the site, hoping to find some fun items to save up for. Instead, I saw the new model of only sweepstakes. Disappointing and not worth it. Please consider going back to a merch catalog.
My family all love Coke. We remember the time in about 1980 when there was no old Coke but only new. We all have been loyal drinkers of this great product.
We all saved our reward points to find out the rewards points program has been terminated. Our plan was to each take a portion and input them then all go make some great memories.
Now we just have garbage bags of cardboard cutouts. Everyone is sad.
I just hate what you've done. I'll never be able to achieve the Gold status. I no longer have positive things to say about Coke. Sorry guys. You blew this big time. You lost so many loyal customers. I don't need Coke anymore.
If I could give less than one star I would. The new program forces me to try to pic a reward I Might be able to reach in there time limit, no chance to save up points like before, I was almost to enough points for a gamestop rewards card, but now, nothing I'm even interested in is being offered that is realistic. I'm done with the program. I guess I should think Coca cola, my soft drink intake has gone way, way down with the new program.
Bring back the old program, what a waste of not being able to purchase items with points. Coke really messed this one up. I'm sitting with a Walmart bag full of caps useless.
There are so few rewards and if you don't have Verizon or mobile pay collecting Coke points is pretty much a waste of your time. They took a perfectly good program and ruined it. Bet the Manager that did this got a promotion/raise. Instead of teaching the World to Sing, they should listen to their customers or have another repeat of New Coke.
I just threw out all my codes. Why bother saving them. They're pretty much worthless. Sorry I wasted all that money on coke products. I'll be switching back to another product now. Sorry I have to give one star. I'd rather give none. I called coke and complained. Rep was nice but helpless. I hope everyone calls.
There used to be great rewards, an strong incentive to purchase their products but now its not worth the time of entering codes. Periodically they offer a couple of crap rewards but its primarily sweepstakes that you & I both know the chance of winning is ridiculously slim! Very disappointed!
New website is horrible. I can't access it on my mobile anymore. Now having levels for rewards and the codes worth less, isn't worth all the trouble. I have also had thousands of points disappear. Coke isn't in favor of their customers.
Answer: I still buy Coke products... but I've starting buying other brands and now split my Coke product purchases by 50%! If more customers did that, maybe Coke will wonder where their fizz went.
Answer: I'm not sure. I know prior to the change I was getting a lot of emails announcing they were updating the program with new rewards, etc. it seems like they either upped the points on my favorite rewards and/or put more restrictions on point submissions. "Update" seemed to actually mean "downgrade" the program.
Answer: They're arrogant and think that they are too big to fail.
