My experience with them was ridiculous, they are HORRIBLE, Good luck I ended up getting nothing from them, because they had so many mixed messages and their CSR said they would send the product from another location, while another person cancelled the order on me via email not explanation, when I followed up with the CSR they said they would look into it and call me back and when I never heard back I sent an email asking if it was cancelled (that was literally all of it), and told that I shouldnt treat their CSRs incorrectly WHAT? I was asking re my product how is that an issue, these people DONT want your business, they are nuts and aggressive!
I read some reviews from people that seemed unreasonable, but were complaining about this site. But due to the amazingly low price I decided to try it out anyways. I placed the order, and had a tracking number within 48 hours. I got the helmet, and everything was hunky dory. Went for the first ride with it, and the inside of the shield had something that started to delaminate. I called Bell to get started on getting a warranty replacement visor, and they told me that they didn't have the replacement visor in stock in the clear that came with the helmet. I asked about the tinted one, and they had those but wouldn't help me out even after I offered to pay the difference between the tinted and clear. They said that the clear ones wouldn't be available for a month. Needles to say I wasn't happy with that answer so I emailed motorcyclecloseouts.com and explained the situation, and within 24 hours I had a tracking # from Bell with my visor on the way. Answer: We don't actually make the products, we just sell them. There are, however, a number of very comfortable under-shorts and riding pants that we offer. Answer: While we're sorry Deanna had a poor experience, our website is indeed "for real"! If you look around at multiple review sites, most show us having very good ratings, overall. The biggest problem people have is with our return and refund process, which is clearly explained on our website. Exceptions are only made if we ship out the wrong product - that is, not the one you ordered. While some people find this too strict, the margins on closeout merchandise are simply too slim - most other companies won't let you return closeout items at all. We feel like that's quite acceptable, considering you can get gear from us for 70%+ off retail price!
