MoneyLion

I had never heard of MoneyLion until I got a call from my credit union's fraud department (it was not from my credit union). An account was created with my information and it cannot be deleted. I attempted calling and there is no option to report fraud or talk to an agent. Sent a text as their contact page suggests and still nothing. My CU was helpful in that they are changing all of my account numbers, but silence from MoneyLion.

I fell victim to a devastating scam by Binance, lost over €13,000 and any hope of profit seemed completely crushed. Desperate for a refund, I was faced with constant disappointment as it seemed impossible to get my funds back. However, a glimmer of hope emerged when I stumbled upon the company mentioned in the title of this review.

I do not recommend banking with them. I have been waiting over 30 days to get money released. I got a room on July 21st. It's August 21st and my $316 dollars still haven't been put back on my card. They keep giving me the run around. The representative Rex say wait until July 22nd but yesterday the other representative said wait until July 21st at 12am.

I got a credit builder loan (this is not a loan it is a payment of $250 then you get the rest after you pay in full. You are getting your own money back) and have made all my payments on time. This month I made my payment on time once again on the day it was due but Moneylion put this payment toward my next months payment not the first. They are demanding more money from me to fix their mistake while also telling me it's their fault but there's nothing they can do about it. It took about three days of talking to their terrible customer care team that will just end chats and promise someone will email you to even be told what the issue was. So I'm short Moneylion's credit builder loan isn't a loan and it is now going to damage my credit because of a mistake Moneylion caused they can not fix.

I get my direct deposit sent to Moneylion every pay cycle. I used their instacash feature and have never had a late payment. I recently got a credit builder loan, and this pay cycle, I paid my instacash loan off early. The app said I was again eligible for instacash, but when requested I got an error. When I asked the support chat why, it told me it was due to a "late credit builder loan payment" which is not due for another 2.5 weeks.
I called their support line, who told me that even though the chat provided me an explanation in writing, the reasoning as well as the app stating that I am eligible for $355 in instacash — was not only incorrect, but they could not provide me with a reason that I was no longer eligible at all.

I also had 13 fraudulent charges made on my Moneylion virtual card. So not only did an entire paycheck get taken in less than 24 hours due to fraud charges, but the ability to access instacash to have any money to use was also revoked, with support giving me ZERO information, and zero help.

Do not use this app. It may seem great, I thought it was too for a while. But being a loyal and on time paying customer gets you absolutely nothing and support does not care about you or your money at all!
Not only am I out an entire paycheck, but I also have zero support or even answers from the company that is supposed to be guarding my money.
Stay away from these guys.

I closed my loan account and verified the account for depositing my funds, but they deposited into an account I haven't used in this app since 2022, and it's closed. They told me there's nothing they can do, even though I have the transcripts of my conversation with the representative confirming the correct account. Don't trust this company at all; it's fraudulent.
