I ordered my item 3 weeks before it was needed. Even reached out after a week, as shipping had not been updated. I was assured it would arrive in time. The item sat in Shanghai for several days and ended up arriving 7 days after I needed it. When I asked for a refund, I was told I am responsible for shipping costs both ways. For an item that was $20 to begin with, it's hardly worth the trouble to return it.

Beware!
July 27, 2017

We bought a beautiful bar from Modern Essentials and had it for 40 days when it started to bubble on the face. We contacted the company and they wanted to only replace. We didn't want a product that was not quality. They put us off for months before aggreeing to take it back on our dime. Beware! They do not stand by there products and while pretty the quality is cheap.

Same problem as the other review i place my order almost 2 months ago they were fast ro get my payment for the furniture and delivery fee order place on may 22 after multiples emails i have an expected delivery day of the 17 july!
I hope the furniture is what i order

Beware they LIE

I bought a BDI Tv stand and they set it up for a day of delivery I told them I couldn't make that day so we needed to set it up for another day and they would get back to me and let me know, they never called me to let me know they just set it up for that day so I got something else and canceled it, I never got the thing it was at a warehouse still in the package and still they charged me not only the fee to deliver it to me which I never got also a fee to send it back so $300. These people never called me or emailed me to let me know when it was going to be delivered. I would not do any business with these people you can get all there products from others like cruchfield they have way better customer service. These people lost a lot of money from me as I needed to furnish my entire house and would of used them if they had just contacted me and let me know.

I ordered the BDI Corridor 8179 tv console from ME. After placing order I then decided to look up reviews and was devastated to see all the negative reviews. I immediately went into full panic mode and started imagining the worst. ME initially stated that it would ship 3 days from date of purchase but it actually ended up shipping 7 days later. I was already bummed about this delay because I'm a very impatient person. I received tracking from Ceva Logistics and I then looked up reviews for them and low and behold they were just down right atrocious. I couldn't believe some of the negative reviews. So once again I went into panic mode. I set a date with Ceva Logistics for delivery and got excited because everything had seem to go smoothly. Ceva Logistics arrived as scheduled and the delivery guy refused to help me bring it inside, so I had to beg him to at least help me push it into my garage. The box had visible exterior damage and with further examination I discovered that the damage extended to the interior. I could feel from the outside that one of the wooden doors was broken. I immediately took pictures of the exterior damage and called ME. To make a long story short, ME went above and beyond to make things right. I received 4 brand new wooden doors 3 days later from BDI. I would have given ME 5 stars but I had to dock them a star for continuing to use Ceva Logistics as their choice of shipping. They are by far the worst and I'm shocked they are still in business. All is good.
