Impossible to do a review in this app. There were no good instructions on how to do a review in the app. The only thing you can do is find businesses and sign up for businesses.

When you first sign up you get immaculate support, but as the months roll on the support gets less and less. I've been extremely frustrated by the lack of quality support for the platform. Mindbody seems to have gotten so big that the support element has dropped away. Sometimes the people on the other end of the line seem like they know less than me about the system. Disappointed.

Waste of money

So outdated. Customer service is extremely slow. I cant cancel until a year because of their dumb contract but the second I can I'm out. I've just been wasting $130 every month for a year, if you care for your business DO NOT use them. Square is way better and free.

Worst ever!

Have you ever watched a company get worse every year well this has been Mind Body. I have been with them for 15 plus years I'm switching finally because it has just been beyond painful. The process to get my information has been awful!

My new company didn't receive its payouts from mindbody online for 3 months. I brought this to their attention and it took them over 2 months to solve the problem. But wait they only solved 17k and I am still out a little over 3k and they continue not to take responsibility for it but will not let me speak to the merchant processor.

THE WORST COMPANY EVER!

Stay away from this company they take your money and service is horrible. Wait time on the phone is disgusting and when you get someone the hang up like they don't want to deal with it.

I have used mind body as a business owner for many years. They have increased their prices and have reduced quality tremendously. We have had so many issues with clients not being able to sign up, no one in the customer service not responding to my emails, and just nor providing the services I am paying for. Students still can't find us on their app. This is a very poorly run business and it seems to not care based on zero follow up. I am looking for a better studio management program

The problems just got worse and worse...

1. Clients who booked online had their payments rejected.

2. Some were charged twice.

3. Some were booked and then cancelled, then when they tried again, the class was fully booked.

4. Then a whole days worth of payments were then voided, over £600 on our 2nd day of trading... gone!

But, all the clients had the payment taken out of their accounts, so we had to ask them to show evidence as our Mindbody software was showing that the payment was voided. It made us look so amateur and clueless.

5. The widgets on the App don't work and the calendar disappears, then the link doesn't work. All the time I am paying my website designer to try to figure this out and no one in technical team is available to talk to him. Despite cries for help and emails to Ross.

6. Our card machine (£199) didn't work. We spent over four hours the day before our launch attempting to talk to a technical team that eventually got it working... for 2 hours and then the next day it didn't work again.

So clients can't pay online as it doesn't work, and they can't may at our health hub... as the card machine doesn't work... so they have to pay by cash... who pays by cash and what kind of modern day company demands cash as their online software doesn't work and their card machine doesn't work?... it makes us... sorry, Mindbody made us look like an absolute joke.

7. Instructors haven't been able to log on

8. We haven't had our payments through to our bank and those that they are showing are in $ not in £. Why can't they use the currency of the country that the user is base in?

9. Clients are calling, emailing and coming in complaining that the system doesn't work and many have given up as they can't trust a system that doesn't work and therefore the company, as in us, isn't safe or professional enough to use.

10. Mindbody software has lost us £1000s in lost revenue and hours spent paying staff to try and rectify the problems that Mindbody have created and are not fixing.

I can't express how frustrating and inadequate MB have been from start to now. Even when you want to contact them they don't have an email. You have to fill out a long form and enter your Locator ID... what is this? And where do I find it?

I had to wait till my complaint reached someone who set up our card machine to contact me to explain what the "Site ID/Locator" was and where to find it, and only then can you actually send an email to MB... no end of frustration on how hard it is to get any help.

SOOOOO bad

Was on zenplanner, which was so clunky and annoying. Great customer service and price was right.

Then they increased their rates, so i switched to mindbody, hoping the classpass integration would pay for itself.

N O P E

Sales process was a nightmare. Constant lies and misrepresentations. Non-responsive, unless they need your money. They should be ashamed - reps and managers - you really should find new jobs

Implementation - took months bc you get 60 mins per week of their time. What?!

Ongoing support - average 4 calls per week due to poor software, each time it takes 20-40 mins to get somebody to answer / call back, then they put you on hold for 5-20 mins to research even the most basic reports.

Software itself - i mean, they didn't charge any of my members on 8/1 for 8/1 renewals. Seems pretty basic

Overall, go somewhere else. Even zenplanner + hubspot for sales and marketing would be 100x better than this.

So, so, SO bad

Our salon signed up with Mindbody in July of 2021. They have billed us on a monthly basis. It is now June of 2022 and we are still not able to use the system. We were given a point of contact for onboarding which to several weeks of communication. That person then left the company and no one informed us so we were sending emails and calling him for a couple of weeks with no response. Finally we got a hold of someone else at the company who told us that person was no longer with the company. They assigned us another person who informed us that much of the information we were given by the previous rep was incorrect so we would have to import a lot of the data ourselves vs. through migration which. This cost thousands in payroll hours in addition to the monthly fee we were being charged by them. Several times we contacted customer service and put on hold for hours and reps are not helpful at all and usually are not English speaking and very difficult to communicate with. At this point we have left countless messages for merchant services trying to purchase a POS system so that we can use the system. Merchant Services never answers the calls or returns messages. WE have contacting TY who is our "point of contact" as well as his manager and they say they can not held and we have to go through merchant services who does not return calls. We asked them to see if they could contact merchant services internally but they said they can not. THIS HAS BEEN A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND EXTREMELY COSTLY AND FRUSTRATING. We will likely have no choice but to cancel the service

Our gym uses Mindbody to schedule classes/let clients register for classes. I've been using the software for over a year and have never had a positive experience with customer service. I'm usually put on hold for 45+ minutes and then told they simply cannot fix the problem. Recently all of our clients were unable to login to their accounts or book classes due to a bug and we lost a lot of business, and Mindbody was unable to identify or fix the problem. Words cannot describe how frustrating is it to work with their customer service. Save your time, money, and sanity, do not use Mindbody.

1. This app does not recognize my password and makes me change it every time i use it
2. Changed the password, tried to sign in with the 4th new password in a month (see above) and received a message to try again multiple times, so I can't screenshot proof of purchase
3. I received the link to join the class i signed up for and received an error message that i had to sign up for it which i had and got the confirmation email and following link.
4. I have a paid membership to the studio (charges are on my bank statement) but Mindbody is asking me to purchase a package to access anything
AND 5. No way to contact them to get help because they require a site code to continue the email form? Wtf is that?

WHY is this such a gigantically huge horror story app?

This is direct from their professional staff, all because we sell Medterra which is sold at CVS, Target and everywhere else. It's a topical pain reliever. They are constantly down, don't return phone calls, no customer service and they SUCK!

Thank you for your reply! Correct, we only have two processors that integrate with our software.

Here are your current options:

1. Comply with your current processor and Return form attached no later than January 12th, 2022.

2. We can switch you to our other processor, however, they will do not allow any CBD sales either and will require a letter from you stating, the business will not process CBD with them.

3. Cancel your Mindbody account.

Lost thousands
October 5, 2021

Have tried to cancel my membership for over 6 months. Sent numerous forms. Have in an email that my account is canceled and I am still getting billed every month. Now trying to deal with getting refunds. Steve, a customer report specialist was so disrespectful and didn't get anywhere. Wouldn't even give me his full name. Talked to probably over 15 different people that say they'll get back to you they don't. One person has been helpful. Wasted another 2 hrs on the phone over this today for someone to say there's nothing they can do. I would give 0 stars. I'm out thousands and thousands of dollars let alone time and mind body does NOT support small businesses. Have lost so much money over this

Price creep, misrepresentation, and many many tech problems. We have spent tens of thousands of labor hours trying to get issues resolved. In the past 30 days, they have double-billed clients, migrated the software without prior notice which changed our settings to allow overlapping appointments, - we do massage therapy so that caused another disappointed client. Promo billing was delayed by 3 weeks, which held up over $800 in funds to us. Now the client believes we are double billing, then asked for a refund since she was not prepared for the late charge. Now clients are checking out and the payments for services and tips are disappearing. Every one of these problems cost me at least an hour to resolve this month. Now it looks like I will be hiring a forensic accountant and am considering a class action suit - this is beyond the pale! Great story in sales about all the features but they are not able to service what they sold. I have spoken with several other businesses in my networking groups who are still angry with MindBody for the time and money they wasted here. We pride ourselves on providing 5-star service and this is damaging our reputation in our community. Totally mad that we are now having our funds STOLEN and after a 35-minute call was informed I would get an email from them - they refuse to commit to calling me back. The tech reps are polite and apologize but that is not the issue. Over $500 in sales processed at our desk yesterday are just gone. The appointments look like they were correctly processed but the funds are missing. Not surprised their CEO stepped down recently. Based on my recent experience I am now wondering if he left to duck upcoming felony fraud charges! I strongly advise against partnering with these guys. They are tarnishing the reputation of the businesses they are supposed to be supporting.

I call Mindbody frequently to receive support as I am still learning and getting used to the system. Every single time Rebecca answers and is the one helping me - she gives the most outstanding service. She works fast, knows what she's doing, & is super helpful. I feel like my time isn't waisted and neither is hers. She really is advanced in her position and I am grateful to talk to someone who is skilled in their profession and is genuinely helping others. Thank you Rebecca for your help always, I deeply appreciate you!

They still charged me over $162 per month. Even when I stoped worked with them 3 months ago.
HORRIBLE. They won't refund you! I had to call my bank for fraud and tell them that is a not authorized charge.!

They would not cancel my membership or help me with a business to cancel it. They let you sign up with them but remove the option to cancel your membership online. The customer support is ridiculous. Rude and horrible customer service saying it is not their problem.

I've worked with Mindbody for 6 months now and have lost so much money. I pay outrageous amounts each month for a software that isn't compatible with safari browser. Most people have iPhones now and use macbook's but unless you walk through each client, new riders and all that you have to clear your cookies, Mindbody freezes up and the page goes white so new clients cannot create an account, therefore goes to another studio where they can create an account. I get so many complaints that they cannot create accounts, it's horrible. When you call customer service they just apologize and state they will be doing updates in the future, this has been going on for 6 months. And now that im stuck into a contract with them, I have to wait until August to leave. Never use this software, it's such a headache.
