I set this phone to 2 hours ago service was really $#*!ty really flow couldn't get to load conduit to do anything that I need to was able to call get all the customer service they were polite respectful helpful and honestly I am pleased with that because when I called ryzen I just kept getting automated services never got to talk to person so so far so good loving it
I have had this service for 3 weeks now and I regret ever swapping to it. I have not been able to send / receive text, nor have I been able to receive phone calls. I have called customer service 4 times since having this service each time doing network resets and nothing helps. I took it to my local store they seen what it was doing and told me that it could be a messed up sim card or phone and that it would cost me $20 to replace it. I asked why it would cost me the extra $20 if for 1) I was paying the insurance and 2) if it was a bad sim /phone they gave me, and was told "that's just our policy". Save your money do not waist your time on the worthless service and poor customer service. This company is a joke and now since I canceled my good service with Verizon for this crap I am stuck with!
Basicly they are liars they hire a bunch of kids mostly young woman who lie ther teeth out just to sale you a plan they dont honor. I dont play games i cancel after 2nd payment when they wasnt going to give me my senior discount for 40 a month for unlimited. First you pay 50 then 40 after as long as you let them auto pay. They wanted to charge me 50 twice because i had to change account number so i said good bye. Verison is better. Like they say this is communist states.
I have been with Metro PCS for 6 years and have 3 lines. My new job requires a receipt for reimbursement of cell costs. I paid my bill (a week early) but no receipt has shown in my history. I called customer service and was told it would take 24-48 hours to get a receipt. I find that interesting since they can deduct the funds in 2 seconds but I said ok. 24 hours later no receipt so I went to the local factory store to see if they could just print or email a receipt to me. NOPE! And not just nope but a "oh well" attitude from the manager. Again, been with them for 6 years and have 3 phone lines. So, here I am 72 hours later and still no receipt. I am out $120 which will not break me but I cannot believe that it is that difficult to get a receipt.
Hey Karen told you I'm going to tell the world. Well MetroPCS says that they value their long-time loyal customers but they don't because when you have an issue over $20 they could care less. Got a new phone back in December and the representative of the store added two charges that I never asked for a headset protection and a scam shield for $7 a month well I wasn't expecting that charge so I didn't pay attention my bill for a couple months and then I came across it I called they said it was taken care of. Fast forward 2 weeks and I know there's no you know positive bounce on my account so I call again and wait 30 minutes with the guys putting me on hold getting back on put me on hold saying they're working on it well about 30 after 30 minutes I say Jerry Jerry he he just left me wasted 30 minutes of my time I call back and talk to Karen if Karen's her real name and she's proceeds to tell me that they can't refund that far back and basically they don't care that they would lose a 10-year customer over $20 I should have never been charged it therefore we shouldn't have never been having that conversation value customers my $#*! and I don't know I'm saving everyone else from and telling the world what a awful awful experience I had with your company 10 years $20 over $20 I'd rather go to boost cricket AT&t anybody else I'm so ashamed that I had been with this company this long and I will never ever ever ever give them a positive critique in my life s*** company s*** s*** s***!
I bought 2 phones from Metro Pcs because they said it was my phone not the service that was disallowing me to get on the internet. Only way I can get on is thru WiFi. Other users w other providers have no problems. Metro PCS stopped delivering service once they merged a few years ago and customers kicked to the curb.
Ive been with Metro for at least 4 years. I see all kinds of ads about how great they will treat their new customers. I think they have forgotten about their loyal excisting customers... why the hell dont we get a new tablet? I cant even get a free charger or even one at a lower cost... customer service varies from amazing to just plain frustration and disappointment... Ever heard of the term get your priorities in line? I just think its not cool. And am seriously considering changing to a carrier that values its customers more..
2 months in the south west with metro pcs hot spot 100GB plan and a metro phone plan was a big waste of money we had little or no coverage on all the ma pa networks they use! Couldn't even watch netfix we used ookla speed test on all our devices to verify our conclusion If you stay in major cities it's good most of the time. World not recommend for traveling.
If you are thinking about getting MetroPCS don't they have the pisses poor internet service super spotty coverage complete trash

They're always removing my line when it gets paid a day late, and even after I pay the service doesn't work I have to go to the whole store and pay for another activation fee. I suggest going to a better phone company cus yea this one sucks they're service slows down after a while too
The whole reason for this review is because of the customer service I recieved at my local store. She actually deserves a 0 but that wasn't an option.

This is a horrible company. The stores close early way before covid ever happened. As soon as I walked n to upgrade my phone I was told they don't do the free phone that's on the website. It ended up costing me 105 for a phone to drop calls n kicks you out of everything.
I had purchased a phone recently with a rebate. When I followed the steps to claim said rebate they sent me to the store to resolve the issue after I weant to the store they gave me a number for the rates department. When I called they told me I had activated my phone too early and that it wasn't within the required date I had told them that there was no such date on the ad and they told me that it's too bad it was activated too early and refused to give me my rebate. I don't like being lied to or made to be an idiot absolute worst don't trust them
Don't ever get this carrier service, everyday dropped calls not able to use internet YouTube every time you call customer service same old web service every time you call how much they value you as a customer I literally have to call them every day but the same problem dropped calls having to go outside to use my phone internet service is always down, they always have the same excuse that they are working on towers in my area, it's the same everyday and they do not give a damn!
I am reaching out to people to help me make MetroPCS refund me some of my money for a bill of 30 days phone service for 2 phones and only one phone service was working properly. I will be notifying the local news in my area to expose this company. I am a low income family of 2 and we cannot afford to be scammed by anyone (rich company) ever. I have been with this company for 4 years and they were not able to restore my service, but they kept the full amount of service for 30 days. We notified the company as soon as we arrived home 2 hours after paying the bill and each day after for 8 days. No one explained to me how to get a refund, until after I switched companies. Then, they explained how it should have been done. I made them aware of my being very sick and needed phone service and that I would have to switch companies. No one ever explained to me which is the way to switch. All, they said when I asked, is that yes you will be refunded you money, because we aren't able to fix the issues. They kept my full monthly service payment and I am very hurt. My income is very low and I am sick. This is not the way a company should be allowed to stay rich, by taking advantage of people who don't know how to get proper help from their agents. I choose zero for my rating. Please help me to speak out to the local news and in today's our voices will be heard..
I have been with MetroPCS for about 8 years and I decided to do an upgrade on December 27th of 2020. I went into the store on Broadway and kolb in Tucson. This is where I've always gone to do my upgrades. There's a whole new staff there that dress so and professionally and have their pants hanging up their butts, and lie to you about the cost of everything. I was told I was going to get a free case and free screen protector. Then, the salesperson and I get up to the counter to ring everything up and another couple walked in with their daughter to get their daughter a new line. The salesperson told somebody else to bring me up will he helps the new sale and I'm charged about $50 to $60 more than what was agreed upon. I put a bad review up and I get a call from the corporate office by somebody named Tammy. She agrees that none of this should have happened and she's going to send all of my information to her regional manager and that I would get a phone call from this regional manager. I have called several times to the store to speak to the manager to no avail. I've also waited for about 5 weeks for a phone call. Guess what? No phone call. Nobody at MetroPCS seems to have a phone number for the corporate office. So perhaps with this bad review maybe they'll call back. I just know that I will be seeking out another company who can be trusted a little bit more to tell me the truth during the sale
I have been a customer of Metro PCS for 6 years. At first I really loved my phone, the service and that my bill was always the same every month and I still had unlimited everything. Over the past couple of years my service has gone downhill. I have to replace my phone every 3 to 6 months because my phone stops working. Sometimes my phone calls go straight to voicemail and my text don't always go through. I am very disappointed in how my phone service has gone down.
Metro needs to invest in customer service after the sale. Seems everyone is very friendly and helpful when you are spending. However when there is a problem seems they have a procedural run around in place. Bought a brand new phone and it had problem within 48 hours. No one seemed to be concerned. I'm just screwed. Just cut off in the middle of a call. Boost thanks you.
I have been a metro customer for some years now. So many complaints and not enough space to complain. Today I tried to get money back on a puchase last week. The boss of the store said he would refund tbe purchase. Unfortunately what one person says is not the same as another employee. The head phones did not work and I called right away but could not make it back to the store until a few days later. I then was told the policy is to switch out. The head phones are trash and all I could do was to switch out the headphones. Its truly not about the headphones as much as it is metros inventory stinks from there phones to the headphones to there customer service. Up until today I would tip the employees for there time. No more. I really hope another phone company comes along soon. You all should be ashamed of yourselves.
