I suddenly had money taken from my bank account with no idea who megaflix were. On searching the net I found contact details *******@megaflix.net and emailed them.

The reply: Upon checking, you had signed up for a 5 day free trial on our site and did not cancel or choose a plan so as stated in our terms and conditions you were upgraded to a monthly premium membership.
We have canceled your subscription with reference number xxxxxxxx and rest assured that no future charges will apply.

May we help you with anything else?

I did not sign up for any free trial, and how they got my card details remains a mystery, so beware!

It happened to me now for 6 months everytime my bank block the payment did not even do the trial and they took money of my account I have now a new card with new number as this did not want to stop this is a huge scam my advice is get a whole new card as they won't stop taking money of you.

I got a notification when I was on safari.
I quoted "congradulations you have won to recieve a free one month trial to watch unlimited movies. Feel free to complete the survey about safari." I answered some questions about my experience with safari and then it automatically took me to they home page. Once I created my username it asked for my credit card info. I decided to do some research first about them before I proceed because I never heard of megaflix. With all the reviews that I had read I wouldn't ever sign up for this. Thanks

BUYER BEWARE. The 5 day free trial turns into a monthly fee of $44 US billed to your credit card AUTOMATICALLY... from my point of view, the movies are garbage. I couldn`t believe what was offered for the price. Yes, a scam.

Don't give ur cc account total rip offs. I signed up for da free trial in the weekend next thing u know dae take out 70 odd dollars as of today! Their answer to dat is dat mi 5 day free trial had ended and I didn't go on any plan so immediately dae put me on da monthly premium bul$#*! an I cudnt even watch da dam movies! End of da day don't trust none of dea sites f u wana watch movies for free Google onlinemovies.is no cc account wats so ever f only I had found dis site b4 signing up with des rip off artist! Be careful of this site - the page I signed on at said nothing about a free trial for 5 days and neither did the confirmation but when I got nervous after giving them my credit card details I looked at the terms and conditions and discovered that I had to cancel within 5 days or be clobbered for 50dollars a month. The range of movies is pretty rubbish too and if you go here: http://www.scambook.com/report/view/*******/MegaFlix.net-Bait---Switch-for-50.00-on-10-19-2011 you will see they have lots of cases against them. They have already taken a small amount from my account.

Signed up for free streaming, etc, THEN checked Google. I know, I did it backwards. After reading the reviews I immediately called the number provided on their website to cancel membership (canceling online included a minimal $0.99). I was directed by automation to enter my credit card #. Each time I entered it I listened to the automation to read it back to me. I put my # in 4 times and each time the number was 'read' back to me, it was incorrect. I think it was programmed to do this to force people to have to cancel online. After seeing that others were charged a fee even though they cancelled the membership (one the same day), I intend to call my bank first thing Monday to insure there will be no other fees charged to my account. Lesson: check out companies BEFORE joining anything.

Got suckered into trial but i cancelled account day I opened just saw the $49 charge and flipped out called them at *******731 as shown on their site and the automating asks if you want to cancel press number then says the no refund spiel I keep pushing numbers until I got a live person then keep on them until they said it was cancelled and refund issued I will see in 3 to 4 business days which will be about Sept. 3rd or 4th if they are telling me the truth.
Site is linked to putlocker free movie service but it's all foreign or b type movies nothing main stream.

Rip off! Says no charge to your credit card but unless you cancel within 5 days you get charged £30 and they operate a "no refund policy". I called and spoke with a lady called Erlie once I saw the charge on my credit card, I said that they had completely ripped me off because there was no mention of charging me £30 and now they were refusing to refund me the money and she agreed! My calls are all recorded for work so when I pointed out that she had just admitted that I had been ripped off on a recorded call she said "yes sir". They know exactly what they are doing steer clear!
