I am stationed in Germany through the military. Wanted to be able to watch tv shows from the states since we don't get much here. As soon as I registered, it said that my account was under investigation and I couldn't access it. Yes, they also pulled money from my account which i wouldn't mind if I could even watch the shows in the first place. FYI hulu, netflix doesn't work outside of the states.

Stay away from the site! As all other postings, they will take your money

Don't use Megaflix. It falsely tells you that it is free, they only ever send you one Email that shows the price is $0, then in the bottom in faint gray it says that if you don't cancel in a month they will charge you $50/month. Then they burst charge - charging for 3 months over a month, then skipping the next few months, then charging multiple times again. I think it increases the likelyhood that you miss that they are charging since their name isn't on your bill every month.

I was looking for a movie and the Megaflix website promo said it had the movie. I signed up, searched for the movie but they didn't it. I canceled my subscription that same evening, even had a big 'canceled' written across the screen. I should have known it wasn't canceled when I did not get a receipt in my email. I too got charged. They say they will refund but what a scam - no movie and charged $49 for believing their website - twice!

Absolute sham a total rip off... disgrace that tbis company is still able to steal our money in this manner... i am involved in fraud action to be taken by my bank against these robbers of our hard earned cash... 30 pounds has been stolen from me for a service i never signed up for just browsed. I am involving trading standars and anyone else i can contact to stop this firm from doing this... STAY AWAY from MEGAFLIX they r CON ARTISTS

3-YOU CANCEL THE DAY YOU SIGN UP AND GET A CONFIRMATION EMAIL CONFIRMING YOUR CANCELATION BUT YOU STILL SEE CHARGES FROM THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY
ANSWER- THEY DON'T! BUT THEY KEEP DOING IT AND APPARENTLY THEY CANT BE STOPPPED.

This Megaflix thing has hijacked my computer through a newsletter that I get regularly. I am unable to view most of the items in the newsletter without popups stating that my Java is outdated and I need to up date now. (My Java is not outdated) It is a crude looking popup, simple letters in a plain white box with a square that says "Update". Then I keep getting quick flash bys like htlp//1b. Yaxzby. Com, or something similar; it comes and goes so quickly that I don't have to time to write it down. Than I'll get another box that says some like that again. I can see "Megaflix" faintly in the background and that is how I determined they it has hijacked my computer. I am able to get out of it by Xing out of the newsletter where it appears. This has been going on for several weeks and I can't figure out how to delete it. There is no X to close it or anything. I hope this is not happening to others. It's a nightmare. L

They are crooked, DONT USE THEM! They say absolutely FREE with no charge to the customer but they charge you $1.03. I cancelled 15 minutes after signing on cause I couldn't find any movies i was looking for and then i decided to watch one they had and it came up saying the movie wasn't available and then I tried to watch another one and the streaming was awful... So i called and cancelled. I noticed the charge on my account a few days later and called them... I was told 24-48hrs would be refunded... 6 days later nothing. I called back, they then said you will see the refund the following day... nothing! I called today same excuse from the third different person. I know its just 1.03$ but its the principle that bothers me... bad business. Gives you a unsettling feeling that your being ripped off. If someone tells you something is absolutely free but reaches into your wallet and grabs a dollar without you seeing them do it, wouldn't that bother you? I'm calling my bank tomorrow for fraudulent charge and the BBB.

That's the only word I can think of to describe this company its bogus "offerings." We wanted to watch a particular movie online tonight, went to the website for that movie, and found a link to a Megaflix page offering free membership for online movies. We were a little suspicious about their asking for the credit card information. I called, and when I finally got a live person, I asked about their guarantee that no charges would be applied unless I "upgraded to a premium membership or purchased something." When I asked how they guarantee that, I was told that after a 5-day trial period, I would be charged $49.95 a month. (THAT was the answer to the question about the guarantee that no charges would apply!) There was nothing on that link. I did find that information about that when I went to the specific metaflix.net website, but I had to comb through the excessive verbiage on "terms and conditions" to find it. Luckily, we hadn't entered any cc info. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY!
