They quote me $149 a tire and then charged me $239 per tire...When I questioned them they said "balancing".When I received printed invoice there was a separate charge for balancing of $19.99 a tire.So where is the additional $90 per tire charge come from?.TOTAL SCAMMERS

I asked the price for an oil change on my 80 yr old mother's 2011 Toyota Camry and was told $50.00 for regular oil. My mother the following day brought the car in to have it done. After they got it up on the lift and started draining the oil they told her that had to put synthetic in and the price was $90.00. They made no mention of this when I asked the previous day. They saw an old women come in and shafted her.
On a side note, on the same day I asked about the I the oil change, I also asked about changing the rear differential fluid on my 1997 Chevy Tahoe and was told that it had to have synthetic fluid put in it at $110.00. I told the gentleman behind the counter that was BS because they didn't run synthetic in them when they were originally manufactured. Stay Away from this business they ripoff old ladies.
I went in and got my tire fixed by Mr. Mike. He was so professional and kind and answered all my questions. Mr. Mike got me in and out. Fast, professional, and quick service. I will always return here and I hope Mr. Mike is here. Thank you
Buyer beware! I recently purchased (3 sets of tires for 3 separate vehicles) from Mavis in SEMMES. I also purchased their insurance for the tires.
My wife had a flat on her car. Took the tire to Mavis (SEMMES) in the bed of our truck.
Young man looks into the bed, within seconds states; "Nope not our tire can't help you".
I called Mavis. They confirmed I bought the tire through them, confirmed the insurance.
So, I take the tire to Mavis SEMMES. Same young man starts writing up the work order. Stops in the middle of writing it up and goes to help someone that pulled in behind me. No they didn't have an appointment.
Manager comes out states how many I help you? I said I need this tire pro rated and replaced, as the tire had separated, no punctures.
Manager states"Your not going to talk to me like that. I don't have to service you!"
After speaking with the regional manager about their rudeness and lack of customer service. He stated they would replace it. (That's why I had insurance). No comment for their rudeness or lack of customer service.
Long story long. After being totally dismissed on my purchase. After being put through all time pain and anguish. After few weeks of owning their tires and 2/32nds of wear. It cost me $87 to get Mavis SEMMES to honor my purchase and the purchase of their insurance.
Cody and the team at Old Bridge Mavis Tire provided excellent customer service. They kept my appointment on time, changed and balanced my replacement tire and got me out the door in 20 minutes. They had a great focus on customer service and I'll go back whenever needed.
I brought my car in for an oil change at about 12-noon on a Saturday. At about 2pm I received a call from the shop manager saying that I needed to replace my car breaks and rotors on all 4 wheels at a cost of over $700.
I was told that my breaks had only about 1000 miles left before they would be totally worn out. I refused the work, than I was offered a discount of $75 if I agreed to do the work now. Again I refused. I safely drove my car for another 9000 miles before it was necessary to have the breaks replaced. And I didn't need new rotors as Mavis claimed. I paid $290 at a different car repair shop. Mavis tried to sell me a high cost break job I didn't even need.
I have an invoice number (*******), where Mavis Tire attempted to bootstrap the repairs needed for my vehicle in order to get more money out of a this customer. The repairs were not even needed, but Mavis Tire attempts to swindle customers under the guise that such repairs are necessary in order to pass inspection. They often do this to the elderly and, the worse part is, I then went to Delta Sonic (whom provided excellent and professional service) and passed inspection without all the repairs Mavis Tire tried to get out of me. My advice is stay FAR AWAY from Mavis Tire, unless you want to spend money on repairs you don't need.
Carried car in for tire rotation and inspection. Got the car back and it did not drive correctly. Went to the Ford dealer where the car was inspected and the tie rod was bent and damaged. They repaired the problem. Mavis manager said he could do nothing about it and call corporate. So I sent an email stating my case. Mavis filed the no payment charges for Their damage and it dropped credit score from 700 to 610. Lawsuit coming if they don't fix THEIR DAMAGE TO THE CAR AND PERSONAL ATTACK ON LIVLYHOOD. We have ALL THE PAPERWORK AND PICTURES.TOO MANY MAVIS COMPAINTS FOR THEM TO REMAIN IN BUSINESS. STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT YOUR CAR IN RUNNING CONDITION!
Early in the morning we called to get tires put on. I had to give a deposit. Found out they don't have the tires in stock. They said it take 3 hrs to get the tires. The tires never came. They never called. I happened to call to follow up. That's how I found out. Now I'm running around to get tires. My vacation is delayed and I'm very angry
My car was tolled to Mavis on Saturday around 7:30 pm (7/9/23) to replace the alternator because it dead. The store manager told me that they will replace the alternator which never happened. I kept calling them every day to get the status of my car. And today 7/12/23 I called again and one of the guys told me that they have no access to to replace my car alternator. So now I have to pay $100 plus tax to toll my car to another shop to get my car alternator replace. What a joke this place is.
Took my car to Mavis location 219 in Hamburg NY. I had low air in one of my tires, The store manager Andray R, was very courteous and diagnosed the problem quickly. I had a nail in my front left tire, driver's side. Tire was patched and I was done in 20 minutes. I was so impressed that I have made an appointment for oil change next week.

My experience was awesome. It was exceptionally great from jjimmy and prince i would recommend. Anytime and anywhere...i have been a customer since 2010 and after they went above to make sure i was help and satisfied. They are local for me and convenient alway plan on going back again and again.

I brought in my SUV yesterday, December 6th, to fix a flat tire. Supposedly they fixed it and charged close to $50. One day later the flat returned and they told me to bring it back two hours later. Are you kidding me? They scammed me. Made the tire worse and I had to buy a new tire elsewhere. I won't be returning to this store in Parrish, FL.
My tire pressure light came on and it was right at 5'oclock. I pulled into Mavistire and the first person i met was Faith. I told her my problem and said I could come back tomorrow and she said No, we close at 6 o'clock and we can take care of you now. Great customer service and very helpful. Thank you Faith.

Took our vehicle to Mavis for a routine oil change. They overtightened the drain plug in the oil pan.
Mark (manager) said they would take care of the issue. (over 3 months ago)
We left the vehicle for the repair (Heli-Coil and new drain plug) Tech could not get the oil plug out.
We left the vehicle a second time, the 2nd technician was unsuccessful.
Then Mavis asked us to take vehicle to another local garage; they took a look at the problem and declined to fix it (suggested new oil pan)
Mavis sent a 3rd technician from Syracuse. Tech said we needed to take our vehicle to the Syracuse store for him to repair it. At this point we had no faith in Mavis's ability to complete the repair.
Mavis then asked us to collect quotes from different garages to replace the oil pan and they would pay for the repair.
We then collected estimates from 2 experienced garages and hand delivered them to Mavis.
We scheduled the repair with the closest local garage per Mavis's suggestion. They did a great job replacing the oil pan. (RIGHT THE FIRST TIME)
After the local shop completed the repair that Mavis caused, Mavis refused to pay for the completed service.
Auburn store says the issue is "with corporate" (zero accountability) They are a corrupt and dishonest company from the top down.
In summary Mavis calls on local shop to bail them out. When the shops completes the work, Mavis does not pay the bill! The national corporation sticking it to the little guy that cleaned up their mess!
Never again what they did to my daughter she needs alignment for her car they say to her we can not do it because you need wheel bearing and wheel Hub because isn't safe to drive it so my daughter said okay because she didn't know any thing about car and they hitting her with $812 they break her bank with all this money for just wheel alignment and bearing and wheel Hubs I want to know whey charge my daughter that much money they say take 4 hours to complete the job this whey cost $812 not only that she says we give her $10 off wow what rip off highway steeling not only that they don't do the alignment right I have to go back to see if they going to do it right this time and I will take them to court for my $812 they are the biggest rip off in history never ever again they are the biggest loser and scammers in Orange County not only in in NY every where
