My father is a sailor and he owns his small marina with couple of boats. He uses them mainly for fishing in summer. Once we have noticed that his boat was broken down. It was awful, because he wanted to go fishing and didn't know what to do. I told him to sort out what exactly is broken and when he explained me I started to search for boat parts in the internet. I knew that I would find something around there and finally I found this website. We searched for part for the particular model of the boat and ordered everything we needed. All the part were delivered pretty fast within couple of days. My father was so happy when he repaired his boat.
MarineEngine has a great forum to discuss everything boat related and unrelated. When something goes wrong I can find someone to talk it over and then find the necessary parts and just order them and its amazing.
Outstanding response and prompt delivery. Professional and efficient outfit. Would recommend this company. Employee who answered phone is the type of professional this company should pride itself in retaining.
Ordered & paid for 2 parts@ $75 ea., They send me an email stating the parts are $125 ea. I called MarineEngine about this & they very reluctantly honored their advertised price & will ship in 5 days, 14 days & no parts, I called again and 'oh, the order will ship today'. Here I am 17 days later still no parts! BEWARE!
Very hard to find Mercruiser TRS parts. OEM from back in the day, you could tell by the packaging they had been on a shelf for years and year and years. I am happy, I do not like substitute parts. Great business to buy parts from. No surprises.
I have fixed up several old motors through the years. I have used this site for two carburetor kits not on an old mercury 9.8 and an old evinrude fisherman. The evinrude ride kit had a float that was not compatible despite the matching numbers and recommendation. I just ordered one for my mercury by calling giving e serial number and numbers off the carb. It came and the only parts that were right were the seals. The needle was wrong the lean screw was two inches short despite the picture and there were four screws I assume where for the fuel pump body but were also not the right size. They were very helpful both times and mean well but this type of quality in kits is terrible.
I have a 90hp evinrude 1996 and no one wants to work on it anymore. So marine engine has been great with help of getting me the parts I need, and great quality. Now that marine engine has done there part no I have to learn how to work on it my self which I enjoy doing. If you need parts this is the place to go,and they will help you with and guestions you have.TY,marine engine.
Not getting my order #413 it's been 3 months an the status is still showing shipped I try to contact them my messages are rejected and it comes back every time am sure by their actions I got scammed I payed $ 653 I think that's correct not sure if it was 53
Site is not too difficult to negotiate. But you need to know your engine/drive intimately. Pictures were accurate and are helpful in identifying questionable or old part numbers. Don't be overly concerned about the out-of-stock indication; with their many locations, they may well have it in stock somewhere. All of mine were even when indicated as such.
What can be said I got the correct item delivered when stated for a fair price. I was followed up with promptly. Everything went very smoothly. I have ordered several times in the past and always goes well. Thanks
Professionals all the way. Fast response time on every order I have made over the last five years. Prices are good and fair. I love doing business with this company.
Must say all parts that i ordered are correct and of quality, i look forward to doing business again with MarineEngine.com & remember people! Serial & Model numbers go a long ways in getting the right parts as well as making customers happy, have a blessed day.
I have been dealing with MarineEngine.com regularly over a period of four years. Their customer service is top notch and well informed. If they haven't got a hard to find part, they can usually refer me to a secondary source that does.
I have used MarineEngine several times for parts. They always ship very fast. I really like the fact that they offer choices of manufacturers, whether it be original equipment or after market. Great resource for parts, even though my boat will probably never bread down again! LOL. Thanks for the help.
Needed parts were in stock. I received high quality parts for a great price. They have a fast and efficient turn around time. My customers appreciate timely service and money saved.
Thank you
Good search website for various marine outboard and inboard engines. Easy search of most industry OEMs with easy search with your engine serial number. Provides diagrams to enable searching the right part followed by list of parts from OEM and after market providers.
Totally excited that you are possible sponsoring Dangar Marine I watch his videos religiously. I wish you could speed up the shipping time. Boats.net can get my orders to me a little faster but they are constantly making mistakes on my orders. Oh yea better pictures of the actual parts would be greatly appreciated. That would put your competition to bed
Wanted to charge me a whopping $10 shipping when the part I needed was six bucks! I had ordered from them before so I figured I'd call and try to get help... all they care about is the money, NOT customer service. In all the time he spent arguing with me he could have processed my part. The part I wanted was a small 3gram (in weight) plastic screen... ever heard of envelopes and the post office?!?! Look around first.
Because next day air is next day air shipping is five dollars then you charge $50 for next day air and they say oh sorry that's not you should on a Friday so don't sell next day or on Fridays and say it's going to be there the next day and say OK that's next business day next day air is next day or anywhere else in the country of the world terrible service and terrible explanation for the problem parts can you get parts anywhere you get parts for my old motor out of your backyard so whatever I've never use them again ever why use them again how many do I take the time to write this right I'm so pissed off I want to leave it in here to read you can hear my anger coming out of the Jumbled up words of my comment terrible place! Then this guy Jake writes this response so I returned a response with I was told on the phone next day I'll be there Saturday... No response from Jake terrible terrible customer service
Good place to find exploded parts views of outboard motors. The only minor thing I found was often it takes a bit of time for the website to respond. It is slow compared to other shopping sites. Marine Engine has OEM and aftermarket parts. Most competing sites only have aftermarket parts.
Answer: Very possibly it could be the starter. Make sure your battery is at least 13 volts although a weak battery usually would not click the starter but just once. Check the connections at the starter. Have someone tap the starter with a heavy wrench or hammer while you turn the key. Follow the starter lead to the solenoid or relay.
MarineEngine has a rating of 3.8 stars from 322 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally satisfied with their purchases. Reviewers satisfied with MarineEngine most frequently mention great service, fast delivery and oem parts. MarineEngine ranks 3rd among Boat Parts sites.
