I got CHAT BANNED for a whole entire WEEK for asking why a moderator was in my club chat, and i got BANNED for no reason! I was about to send a message, but then realized they might delete my account. I wrote this support ticket: I was banned for asking a question and getting confused. Now THIS punishment is completely absurd! A whole week just until I can use chat features again? Now, if this happens ONE more time for completely silly reasons like this, I am going to completely reconsider spending my money here. I currently have 50$ in a jar labelled: Marapets AU savings. Now, I am not trying to argue, but if I get chat banned ONE more time for a completely UNREASONABLE reason like this, I will contact people whom are my friends and have huge amounts of power in the reviews industry. Maybe that 50$ can go to NeoPets? I can easily put BAD reviews and make big complaint videos like that other one that everyone got so upset about. So I suggest you be nice to your players. You got it? Be happy you even have the players you have. (end of message)

I played a while ago and let's just say, it was a bad experience, me and my sister both had an account, and funny enough I used this voodoo on a mods pet and I clicked another tab in the game and I was banned, it said "multiple accounts" I emailed them the following night asking to get unbanned and the replies kinda were rude, they also claimed I had other accounts that were giving me free stuff, I had some other random users giving me stuff for free out of kindness but never abused any multiple account thing, my sister and my account were banned I asked if ATLEAST if they were not gonna, believe me, they could just unban my sister but they seemed offended and it was a rude "NO" remember that voodoo thing, its funny because the same mods pet I used the power on, was the same mod that ended up banning me I'm pretty sure could be petty or just timing for when I was blamed either way I have had some bad experiences and was heartbroken to lose my account and hard work of hours put into such a crappy petty game!

After playing for almost 8 years my account was banned when they discovered (after 8 years.) a second account was made with my email they claimed to be mine.

Staff wouldnt listen, in fact they're very fast to put down players and are bullies. I made a suggestion regarding that some players may have been exploiting and instead of friendly ease of mind, they were very quick to get defensive (when i didnt even target the statement towards them) and started bullying me and how much effort I had put in the game. When i mailed them about my account ban they refused to reverse it and were INCREDIBLY rude. Regret ever paying a cent to these theives.

Around $16-20 USD is what the upgrades cost (of which i had purchased many but customer service seems to not be of interest to them). On top of this boxes to help features hasten are very overpriced at $2-15USD. The game itself is quite buggy and lags frequently, capcha codes are its' main security and I had been hacked multiple times with little offered in terms of retrieval or help from staff (who should be atleast trying to help).

I hope this site burns to the ground. A maximum of 700 players are on at one time compared to former days of thousands. The community is ok but the staff are horrid and very ego inflated to the point of insanity.

Never was put on a chat ban timer before. My friend suggested submitting a ticket for two users being rude to me then bringing it on to MT. Submitted the ticket, staff felt offended, and revoked my chat/forum access with no timer. I've never had the 1 hr ban ever. But they want to skip right to a very long ban and go against their own rules.
"These rules relate to Forums, Blogs, Maramail, Club Chat, MaraTalk or any other chat feature.
In normal cases anyone breaking the chat rules would first receive a 1 hour chat ban. A second offence would result in a 24 hour chat ban. Third offence earns a 48 hour chat ban. After that, it would normally be 1 week chat ban, 2 week chat ban, 1 month chat ban. After that, if a player has not learned anything from these chat bans their account will be permanently chat banned."

I've been playing mara pets for 13 years and I don't think I'll ever stop; the community is very welcoming and helpful. It's a free to play game.
