The jeans are great and overall I'm very happy - in fact, I've just ordered two additional pairs.

I have a longer leg length, so buying jeans in regular outlets is difficult. With makeyourownjeans I could replicate the measurements of a favourite pair, and they're a really good match.

I've made some changes to the next order though; the sizes came up slightly larger than I expected (this is ok though - I'd rather they were slightly larger than smaller). Also, I'm not sure if the fit I selected (slim tapering) was what arrived, since the cut was presumably based on my supplied measurements - which limits how much you can alter the fit, I presume?

Measured per the instructions & diagrams on the website, specifically the waist measurement. Produce arrived and was inches too large and had to be taken to a tailor to correct.

So disappointed. My jeans fit everywhere I was told to measure but are too narrow in the thighs. They fit my knees and my hips fine.

People need to understand that if you're copying a pair of designer jeans that you need to take every measurement exactly. Because if you just give length and waist that's all you'll get. Simple straight legged jeans with no flair or curves.

I received my pants and for the most part the fit was good. The length while the document said was 44.5 it was actually 45.5. Its OK my wife can hem them.
Delivery was by DHL. Is mail cheaper? It cost me $35 in customs duty. This plus the CDN$ exchange rate made these pants over $130; no longer such a good deal. However I do like the fit so will probably continue to buy pants here.

This was the most painful order I've ever placed in my life. I had to repeatedly change/edit/delete my shipping address vs. my billing address all the way through the order. Even on the CC information. My billing is different than the shipping

Really good experience all round thanks. Will make a repeat order but need to adjust measurements slightly as I didn't do it quite correctly last time and the waist is a little too high. However, that was my error and not the manufacturer. Would recommend to others!

MakeYourOwnJeans completely ignored one of the critical measurements: the rear rise. I specified 11 inches, they sewed the jeans with a 14-inch rear rise. As a result, the jeans don't fit at all. In my instructions I was very clear that the rise I qsked for should NOT be adjusted. They simply ignored my instructions! So far they haven't responded to my complaint.

I am built really weird. Basically straight from the waist to the hips. It's really hard to find decent jeans that fit. For years and years I have looked at jeans on makeyourownjeans.com. I hesitated every single time for fear it would be messed up if I ordered some. Finally after gaining 50 lb, and all that I could find were ugly pants never really fit right and we're not figured flattering at all, I ordered a pair. I can't even explain how thrilled I am with what I was sent. They fit perfectly. I plan to order more! They're very well made and I love the fabric.

I ordered a quality suit as my first order and set up a new measurement profile at the time.
The team were very careful to confirm with me all the measurements as with a custom item a return could not be done unless it was broken/damaged in delivery and I am admittedly an awkward size! The team confirmed I definitely measured as recommended and the product fits exactly to measure and is the best fitting suit I've ever owned!

My jeans are beautiful but they fit kinda weird and I think it's because I measured wrong. Luckily I bought the fit guarantee. If I had it to do over I would have used the measurements of existing jeans and just tweaked the length because that's the only problem I have with readymade jeans.

They fit exactly as measured, very high quality that will definitely last a long time. I've never had a pair of jeans that fit this good.

The jeans looked just like the kind I'd find in a nice jeans store, only with better fit. I'm tall with a 38" inseam. Service is easy to use and the quality is excellent. I purchased the fit guarantee and the first pair fit almost perfectly, however the jeans were made 2" longer than what I put on my measurements (they measured at 51" long, waist to ankle). On Feb 3, I went to order my free remake, added new measurements and some comments and submitted only to be taken to a page that said "oops, something went wrong". When I went back to my account, the option to order my free remake pair is gone. How can I get my remake?
