Great choice of materials and finishes, excellent fit. Half the price of leading brands. I've had five pairs from MYOJ over the years and they have always been perfect.

I got the perfect fit that I wanted and that I couldn't have obtained from any of the producers of non-customized jeans.

Need more choices for pants and jeans. Need more of a stretch in jeans like it was

Custom made jeans are supposed to be made according to the measurements we give, after 12 years of my custom, the last pair was out by 5 inches, I can allow half an inch discrepancy but not 5"! They refused to replace or refund. I have now closed my account. Avoid this company.

I ordered a linen jacket. My ordinary size 52L, when I got my jacket two persons could fit into the jacket.

When I complained, they said it was the right measurement… and no refund.

Unserious business, stay away!

Pros:
- Good communication. I ordered with shorter-than-typical leg measurements and they emailed me to confirm that's what I wanted.
- Good workmanship.

Cons:
- Long wait. One month after ordering I was told the material I wanted was out of stock (selvedge), so I chose raw as a substitute. The jeans arrived an additional two weeks after that.
- Not a great fit. Even though I measured carefully according to instructions, the jeans bag and bunch up in awkward places. While MYOJ does confirm crucial measurements, judging what measurements to provide for the look you're after can possibly take a bit of trial and error.
- Limited fit types. There seem to only be stretch and non-stretch. It would be good to have a 'slim fit'.

Not close to the dimensions given to them. Waste of my time and money

Ordered from MYOJ a number of times and if you can wait 4-5 weeks for a great pair of jeans made to your specifications then you'll be very satisfied.

I made a glaring dimension error which I couldn't correct online. But then I was contacted by email stating that the seamstress saw that something was wrong and I was allowed to correct it! Never expected such personal contact or attention to detail.

I felt confident in ordering jeans because I read that you can get a redo if they are not quite right.
Well that is WRONG. I ordered a skinny jean. Skinny jeans are just that skinny. Mine came with a bell bottom. Why would you make me a skinny jean with a wide bottom. It makes no sense. Then I was offered a redo for fortysix dollars. When I complained about this they offered me twenty percent off. Get your story straight. I felt taken for a long ride. Since I live in New York City I will donate these jeans to a homeless shelter where I know someone will be happy to have then. I have yet to hear back to try and resolve this issue.

I have always hated going shopping as being tall and thin makes it difficult to fit. Love the eazy experience of getting perfectly fit suits and pants from this company, and have been for the past 8 years.

Fourth or fifth order. Even with my weight and size changes, they come through with proper fit.

This company's unique selling point offered so much promise. The ability to send them your measurements, and have them make you a pair of jeans exactly as you want, tailored to your exact specifications - and for a very reasonable price. Great!

What a shame that they don't deliver on what they offer.

I ordered a pair of jeans from them, with the intention of trying to get the perfect measurements for my size. When they arrived, it seemed like I hadn't got it right. No issue, I decided to order another pair, to get it a bit closer to perfection. And then when the second pair arrived, it seemed like I have over-corrected my measurements, and got them not quite perfect again. And so I tried again. And again.

It was only after spending money on four pairs of jeans that I realized something was wrong - why did I apparently keep getting the measurements wrong? So I started an email exchange with the company.

Erica, from their customer services, admitted that they added a 'loosening allowance' to the measurements customers gave them, and so I asked them to tell me EXACTLY to what specification they had made each of the four pairs of jeans I had ordered. To my amazement, it turned out that they had been deviating from the measurements I had given them every time! An inch here, an inch there, sometimes making them longer then I asked for, sometimes bigger, sometimes shorter. Sometimes slimmer. And in totally unpredictable ways - it was quite shocking to see the wild variance in their changes! At no point had they ever actually made the jeans that I had ordered!

When I highlighted this to Erica, she tried blaming me, and telling me it was my fault. When I asked her what Makeyourownjeans proposed to do about the fact that they had taken a lot of money from me and not fulfilled any of my orders, she just ignored my emails.

Terrible customer service - they take your money, make rubbish products and then try to blame you for their incompetence!

It's a real shame - if Makeyourownjeans actually deliverded what they promised, I would probably keep on making orders from them! And based on the reviews here, it seems like lots of other people would also.

Instead, I sincerely recommend you AVOID this lying, scamming, incompetent company.

Ordering from MYOJ was simple and easy. I used my personal measurements in my profile - so easy. There was a slight discrepancy between my measurements and what I received, but this was easily fixed, and Erica offered me a discount by way of compensation for the trouble. The pants and waistcoat are gorgeous and I cannot wait for a sunny day to wear them.

EXperience was overall excellent except for difficulty paying w/ credit card that ended up being a simple fix.

So nice to be able to order cloths that fit! Off the rack cloths seem to only fit if your are a certain build and height, and I'm not!

The jeans have not been sent.If they had been sent and I had recieved them I then could describe the experience.But not having them I cannot.

Make Your Own Jeans show the customer how important he or she is to them not only by the exceptional quality they provide but showing the customer how important he or she is to them. My experience is not a one off because I have purchased jeans from Make Your Own Jeans for several years now. The quality, price and service is very important to me and that is what I have always got.

The jeans provided were made of a very heavy material. While made to my dimensions, the heavier material makes them too tight to wear. I asked for assistance and was told the jeans were to the dimensions specified.
