Married. They truly came through for me and for that, I'm letting everyone know

Make Your Own Jeans show the customer how important he or she is to them not only by the exceptional quality they provide but showing the customer how important he or she is to them. My experience is not a one off because I have purchased jeans from Make Your Own Jeans for several years now. The quality, price and service is very important to me and that is what I have always got.

I made some pants from fix measurements I submitted. They are inconsistent. One pants came in well and accurate to the measurements. The other in the same order came in with the back rise 2" too long and thighs 1" too large.

Good luck trying to get them to correct that. I had to pay a local tailor to alter the pants.

The inconsistency is bugging me. Feels like a gamble if u were to order from them.

The customer service is poor as well. They either can't understand my English or choose to answer them obliquely. Instead of addressing the problem, they rephrased it to say that front and rear rises have to be different. I am not hopeful.

The whole experience in the making of my light weight woolen jacket has been wonderful.
I was contacted in relation to my choice of lining, being advised to pick something lighter which wouldn't show through the jacket fabric.
The jacket itself is beautifully crafted and fits perfectly.
I couldn't be happier.

CAVEAT EMPTOR! After a first order for three pairs of custom lightweight jeans, (a fabric almost impossible to find in retail stores), I was impressed enough with the fit and the workmanship to order some more jeans in more regular denim. Disaster! None of them fitted. They had wildly different leg lengths, waist sizes, (and all the rivets were oversized). Then began my e-mail saga with the generic 'Pearl" who accused me of not measuring properly, demanded I return them (at a hefty self cost) then said to throw them away, and order anew with a paltry 10% discount.
All the while stating that they were never wrong, despite photographic evidence
To the contrary. Appeals to their business sense went nowhere. I am down a couple
Hundred bucks and now, on reading the majority of these reviews ( I wish I had done so first) I see I am in good company. So AVOID this lousy set-up.

It's hard to get back to redoing measurements once an item is in the "cart" and you want to take it out of the cart. Also when trying to redo a measurement from the cart I often end up deleting the order.

I have always wanted to decorate or design my own jeans. Now you have the opportunity to do so. What a great idea. They offer all kinds of things to help you design, make and decorate your jeans. They are also quite helpful in helping you get the job done.

I sent fixed measurements from a favorite pair of blue jeans following the instructions, and the jeans I received are off in every measurement. MakeYourOwnJeans refuses to fix their error, even when presented with evidence that the jeans are the wrong measurements. I had to get American Express involved to get a refund. Spend your money elsewhere.

This company is a complete scam, I bought jeans from them and it took over three weeks to get, I paid 90.00 for them and none of the measurements are what I ordered. I have gone to a tailor to be measured and also had the tailor measure what I received. SCAM SCAM SCAM! They refuse to admit they messed up the measurements up, will not give a refund. I feel like a complete idiot for trusting people overseas who are clearly just out to scam people. The quality of the denim is cheap, color not as described, and stitching is horrible as if a little kid sewed them.

I ordered leather jeans according to my personal set of measurements. Unfortunately the jeans were not completely manufactured according these measurements. They are too long and measurements for thigh, knee and leg opening were not followed (all much too wide). To get them really custom made I had to bring them to a local tailor to re-custom.

I was impressed with the quality and fit of the jeans! I appreciated that someone reached out to me to confirm some of my measurements that looked a little off. Next time I will add more details and adjust my lower leg measurements so they fit even better.
