Business History

In 2003 the owner Michael Madore borrowed a scanner from his brother, took some urn cataglogs from his father in law (sold to funerl homes door to door) and started building a cremation urn website. The name Mainely Urns was intented to be a place holder while he built the website but on the day he went to published the site it needed a name, to proceed, so he just hit 'publish' and went with it. The massive list of companies in Maine that start with Maienly (Mainely Auto, Mainely Small Engine Repair and Mainely Haircuts) added one more to the list, Mainely Urns.
