Requested a port-in on to numbers on 29/09/23, left without service on both for 28 days and counting. 2 elderly 75+ old pensioners left without access to bank accounts and missed medical appointments. This company has caused incomprehensible pain and suffering for a month now and continues. Sent countless emails, made countless phone calls, have been told on at least 20 occsaions that will be resolved in 24 hours. 24 hours never arrives!
Please don't go with Lyca. Very bad customer service and people can hack your SIM very easily. Bad bad
An unbelievably bad experience with Lyca, I would highly recommend searching for any alternative mobile phone provider. I have had no network for 2 weeks and each time I topped up the money just disappeared. I've since left and moved after struggling to obtain a PAC code from them, I'm now free and have a working network again.
It is a total scam.
Plus those who do answer do not help you rightfully.
They just you astray from any resolutions whatsoever.
I am not that wealthy and wasted $34 on the con service.

Purchase a Sim card in New York and I basically waste 20 bucks. To set up the service you need a training and customer service never answer. Stay away from this terrible service.
I am most disappointed with Lyca's response yet again as it does not make any sense to me, how come 20 GB data is used up within a day.
The offer of 20% discount on re-purchase of Lyca is a joke. Given the lousy & most cumbersome product Lyca offered in the marketplace, why would I engage in purchasing Lyca again. I am going to make sure that every opportunity I have, I will warn others & publicise the lousy product & service Lyca offers. Besides I had been without mobile connection for two weeks, did you expect me to wait indefinitely? I have purchased other mobile sim that is proving to be most efficient & offering significantly better customer service.

Run far away from Lycamobile. Their sales representative gave me false information so that I would buy the service, which didn't work at all. If only English-speaking, customer service will not speak to you on the phone and only directs you to the Chat bot. I spent 3 months speaking with customer service to resolve the issue, repeatedly providing the information they requested over and over again to obtain a refund. Getting no where, I had to switch suppliers, upon which they then refused to proceed at all will the refund. An absolute scam and theft.
I paid 5 pounds for my sim then topped it up and couldn't use it for more than a week!
I sent messages and emails, nobody replied and nothing happened. Luckily my husband just gave up his 5 pounds he paid on his Lyca sim and bought a Vodafone sim, we would have been lost in UK!
Bought a sim at zurich airport he assured us it would work for 30 days everywhere we were going n europe 40 euros worked for two days soon as we left Switzerland stopped working left us high and dry for 4 weeks absolute rip off not happy had to rely on wifi
These people are actually scamers!After you pay 60 Eurosport to activate the plan, they cut off the calls and the internet connection, so you can't benefit the services you paid for! The customer service is a joke! This is a legal scam! I encourage you to make them complaints at you local authorities for communications!
Worst network, worst customer service. I don't have enough room to explain the nightmare I went through with them, just steer clear, they are the worst company I've ever dealt with. They won't even refund my money for service I never received.
The plan say's 20GB for 15EUR, but actually it's 15GB for 15EUR you need to click "View more" and then "Terms & Conditions" to see what they actually giving you.

Worst SIM card for USA. Data plans don't work well in USA. Multiple calls to customer care later also the problems remain. Never buy this brand sim for USA. Money will go down the drain.

Their customer service team appears to have mastered the art of lip service, assuring me repeatedly to 'wait another 24 hours' for a solution. Even escalating the issue to a supervisor brought no respite, only the same tired refrain. Such repetitive non-resolutions have left me disillusioned and exasperated with their supposed 'service'.

I bought the sim with an offer of 10 euros package. They took the money, I received the sim card, activated it but did not get the package offer of 80gb and unlimited calls that I paid for, and when I called the customer service she said that you have no more credits now because it was consumed alone even if you don't browse the internet or use the phone it will consume directly your 10 euros. And it is my problem that I did not activate the offer, even though when you insert the card they only tell you to activate the number and not the package you bought. And as a new customer you suppose it activates alone because you have paid for it. However, they only take your money and don't give you the service. A creative new way of stealing money.

Lyca mobile Is the "WORST" phone service of all. They offer the lowest phone plans(which you get what you pay for) I brought my som a new unlocked Iphone because I wanted him off my current plan so I was internet shopping for a cheap plan he could afford so I can across these scammers. They had a promotion for $5 so I decided to port in my existing phone number and now I am unable to transfer my phone number out because they don't want to give me my account #/pin. They said my phone Is not setup on auto renewal which It Is they tried to take $5.25 out my account. They also say my account Is suspended and thats part of why they cant give It to me. They said thats company policy. They also said they cant even see my account info. I have never ever heard that before. I have never had a hard time trying to get my account info. They want me to verify info first before they give you your account info they verify when you first call not to just get your account #/ pin. They offer the worst customer services, their agents are extremely rude, untrained, and hang up the phone themselves without resolving issues. They said If I make a payment then I can get my account info. I don't want to stay with them and have been calling them to provide me with my account/pin info which they claim they provide after their stupid verification process which requires frequently dialed phone numbers and every time I provide them with the right ones and then they say oh we cant give It cause Its suspended I just want my account Info so I can transfer out ASAP.
I was in Northern Ireland (Belfast) and I bought an unlimited volume for 1 month for phone and internet for £30 from a "Spar" store. The seller was so nice and helped me unlock the SIM card and the package. 20 minutes later we checked the balance and it was only 20p left.
We called the hotline and they just said we should have called a specific number first and had the unlimited pack activated. All attempts to get my credit or my money back were unsuccessful.
I would have expected such an experience in a third world country but not in an European Country.
