Purchased a kitchen from lowes, it was going to take 8-12 week's to complete it took nearly a year? Nothing but problems. They have no idea about construction, time keeping, customer service. Once they have your money it's good luck. I gave a 1 rating because I couldn't give less
All of the staff are wonderful, caring, helpful and nice which is hard to find in the world! Lorey Howerton and Forrest are 2 of the names that come across in my mind at this time, but there are others and I did not forget about the other wonderful staff! Every hardware store should model this location on everything on how they do business, how the employees interact with customers, etc.

The jobs at lowes are great but management is not in control. Women who yell or bat their eyes at management can get you fired. They say there is 2 sides to a coin but in this case there is only one. You can do your job and have all the praises but still be drug through the mud. So if you're hired. Do your work and keep your mouth shut and you still stand a chance in being fired if you're a male.
This is absolutely the worst place to by appliances. Lowes in beechgrove indiana and as company do not care about your purchase. We spent 3k on appliances and the delivery people couldn't be bothered, it was a mess lazy people and customer service is a joke we have a fridge sitting garage because lowes won't find a tech to take doors off for 2 days now unbelievable company
I purchased a patio set from their daily deals on 4/26 and saw where I was pre approved for the cc and could get 20% off my order. I applied, they then tell me I can't use it until I get the physical card. I then tell them to cancel the card and I'll just pay the way I planned to in the beginning. Fast forward 2 days, I look at my account and it shows an additional charge of $59. I call their customer service and they say it was freight charges. Never once did it mention a delivery charge, matter fact it shows free on my receipt. I sat on the phone with customer service for an hour and a half for them to offer me a $25 gift card and wouldn't allow me to speak with anyone higher up. This was my second time shopping with them and I'm sure the last.
Poor store layout, poor product organization on shelves, poor product quantities, many many sales people who are totally inept. Only good thing and the reason I shop there at all is the military discount they give. I can't believe they are still in business, I'm sure it's just a matter or time that their managers and sales people are on the unemployment line with former sears employees. Sad, they could have been as good as Home Depot if they copied them.
Lowes often carries different brands than Home Depot. Which can be nice. Off line, in my neighborhood, they are opposite each other. You have to park out of state to get into Home Depot. You can park in front of the L at Lowes, no one is there, plenty of people to help, I have no idea why this is. They are just fine. Its always quicker and nicer to go to Lowes in my neighborhood.
We have been without a freezer for 4 months and refrigeration for 3 weeks. The appliance is 15 months old with a five year warranty. Lowes customer service is without a doubt the absolute worst. We have had 3 tech out to repair this piece of junk and they have made the situation only worst.
We will never purchase another item from Lowes. I recommend you should not purchase an appliance from Lowes.
Bought a dishwasher and a stove here. Store associate was very helpful and friendly. Got a great deal and fast professional and free delivery. They even took out my old appliances and hauled them away. Will definitely come back again.
I paid $16k in March mind you for a deck. The order sat dormant until I called in May to see when it would be installed. Lie after lie after lie. Please do not use this company for anything. This has caused a great deal of stress i am a sick woman and wanted to enjoy the summer with my family. They lied and said they applied for the permit still no permit has been filed. I just don't know what more to do. I spoke with several people from corporate in Indiana with no resolve. The last lie was the permit was filed 5/26. Spoke with my city council the meeting was 6/7 no permit or plan filed. They meet once a month of which I have told several representatives of Lowes. So we missed May and June. Actually March and April too. The council said it can be rectified with a special meeting requested by Lowes. The ball is still in their court. I just don't understand why they just don't deliver. The salesman has not done his job and neither has Lowes as a company. Pitiful.
I was in search of fire rated attic ladder for a new construction/house. After long on-line chat with sales rep, who assured me that Lowe's had a fire rated ladder, so I bought it for $541 and picked it up 3 weeks later from a store. Paid a Carpenter $250 to install it ( 12 ft ceiling height). So, 4 months down the road, a building inspector told me that I would fail my final inspection because of the ladder, IT WAS NOT FIRE RATED! I contacted Lowe's customer service and was told that because it was passed 90 days, there is nothing they could do, no reimbursement. Lowes sales agent FALSELY advertised their product and there is nothing they can do? They just offered me 10% coupon for my next purchase. What a SHAME! Such a huge company can't take responsibility of their own wrongdoing! I'm disgusted by Lowe's customer service! What a way to treat customers!
Customer service here is many times better than that of their competitor Home Depot. Case in point, I needed a plumbing piece for a trap on my sink and had to wait 25 minutes for someone to help me in a home depot. Lowes had an employee find it for me thanks to those little buttons you push to call for help in the store. Little things matter..
My credit card was charged a wrong amount on a transaction, and when I called customer service to verify it, it was a long wait to get through, after I got through someone hung up on me, when I tried calling again and waited 15 mins to finally get to an agent, he put me on hold for another 20 mins to verify the transaction, and finally the answer was "I'm not sure, why you were charged more". I cancelled my purchase and bought from somewhere else instead. Very poorly trained customer service agents!
If I could write a "0" I would... horrible communication... time ageeenents not kept after numerous calls... finally spoke with management... driver contacted me to inform me of time of delivery which was outside of what I had been promised... this will impact my future business with Lowes. I will likely use Menards or Home Depot
I just checked out at the Gonzales, LA location. There were no checkout representatives working so I went to self checkout. They had an associate who sat on a chair and was of no help! I had a buggy full of items. The checkout machine had multiple issues and the associate would just stare at me till I asked probably 15 times for help! She was worthless! They should have at least one checkout associate for people who have a buggy full or don't want to use the self checkout
I tried to call Lowe's customer service on several occasions to determine some information about a fraudulent use of one of my credit cards. The wait times are in excess of 25 to 30 minutes and more.
When I tried asking for a new 2 word captcha it never gave it to me so I could review them on their own site.

Lots of problems ordering appliances here! We special ordered a microwave. It came with a broken piece. The person in appliances wrote down a number for me to call. It was a scam number to win a free cruise. Special order dishwasher was wrong color. They said we had picked it up the day we ordered it. Difficult to do on a special order! Finally came (late) and was damaged. Won't shop here again.
Went the early sun morning to inquire about a power washer and lawn chair. Could not find any sales associate to help me. Went to customer service and asked for help. Joanne in customer service told me she was just a cashier. Asked to see the manager joel. Joanne called him and he never appeared. I insisted to see Joel and again Joanne stated again she was just a cashier. After waiting thirty minutes for NO service, I left and went across the street to Home Depot and made all my purchases and had my questions answered within fifteen minutes. Lowes has lost a customer for life! On Monday, tried to call corporate customer service and waited over fifty minutes on hold and was then disconnected.
Apparently lowes makes enough money besides themselves...
This product is crap. Purchased and used one time to cover items hauled in my pickup. The seams failed and split, the eyelets came out and the ends frayed. There is nothing "heavy duty" about this product.
Don't ever use Lowes promotional no interest for a year. They will try to scam you. They put their no interest items on the same credit card account as when you purchase other items that are not part of the promotion, then if it's the entire balance is not paid off in full they say you have to pay the interest. This happened to me twice in the first 3 months of a no interest promotion for year. They were trying to charge me interest on the appliances I bought that were not supposed to have interest on them for 12 months. This place is a joke. I used to work at Lowes and I will never go back to work here, nor will I buy ANYTHING from here again.
