My friend, an elderly lady, bought a dishwasher at the Lowes on Franklin rd in Roanoke Va about 3 weeks ago. It was installed on a Friday... Sunday she ran it and it would not completely empty water and her floor got wet... she lives in a third floor condo! She immediately contacted Lowes ( dishwasher was 3 days old) and the run around has started... they were fast to take $550 but have been very slow to resolve this problem... the Lowes installer came back. He told her Lowes needs to replace the dishwasher... in his opinion it is defective... He said he would put an order in... finally she reached the Lowes store manager Chris... who stated he felt he needed to send another installer out to recheck the first installers job. She is still waiting! This machine is unusable, the bottom plate was removed... so it is unsightly... Is this due to her being elderly? Would this have happened to a 40 year old male buyer? She has called numerous times and gone to the store twice... finally Forrest said he would clear this up... Forrest where are you? What is up Lowes? Needless to say... I will buy my planned purchase of an over the stove microwave elsewhere and our church ladies will hear about this! Shame on Lowes...

Ordered fridge late July. Aug 23, still no fridge. Stayed home 2 days for promised and re-promised delivery; nothing! 6 store calls and 4 corporate office calls later, no fridge. Never again!

Poor Customer Service
August 23, 2020

I made several purchase on Monday, August 17,2020 in the Kendall Miami Store. I was told two of the items were out of stock but will be in within three days, at least by Friday 8/21/2020. I went ahead and paid for the items to pick up in the store. I went to the store on Friday after 10 am. I was told that the items were not here as of yet, the delivery will be Friday night not during the day. This was not told to me when I made the purchase.
I call the next day at 7:30 am before going to the store and was told the items were not delivered. I said to the associate I was told that a truck was delivering the items last night. She said shipment came in but my items were not on the truck, and that she will have the associate in that department call me when she comes in at 8 am. I waited until 8:30 am, no one calls me. I called back again the associate told me that she gave my information to (Amanda) the associate in the department where the items are from and she will remind her to call me. As of 9.30 am I still haven't received a call from anyone at Lowe's. I called back a third time; this time I was told there is no guarantee that that the items will be on the truck when it delivers. On top of that the lady was asking me the same thing over and over again as if i was ignorant to what was going on. I asked to speak to a manager and she put me on hold. I waited for approximately 20 minutes and no one came to the phone so I hang up.
I called back a fourth time and asked for a manager, a male came to the phone and said his name was Jose. I explained to him what was going on and he told me to hold on. He came back to the phone and said that my order will be in the store on Monday, August 24,2020, and will be ready for pick up the next day. I said to him when I made the purchase I was told it will be in the store by Friday and I mentioned to the associate that I will pick them up by Monday and now you are telling me a completely different story. He replied you asked me for a date and that is what I am giving you. I said to him why was I told on thing and now I being told something else. He said again you asked for a date and that is what I am giving you. He was not trying to understand or even trying to listen to my complaint, so I hang up the phone.
These people don't care about their customers; they provide you with false information and become rude when you questioned them. This kind of customer service is unacceptable we have options to be taking this kind of disrespect from Lowe's associates. This was my first time making a large purchase form them and was planning to get all my appliances from them also. Now I will be going else where.

If I could provide anything less than 1 Star I would. The original wait time for a rebate was 6-8 weeks. I waited... then they asked for patience and asked to wait another 4 weeks so I waited... Now at 12 weeks I finally get someone on the phone and they tell me things are at a stand still and that I need to be patient and wait longer. Also, they could not give me any idea of the additional time I will have to wait. Lowe's did not wait for me to pay them when the lawnmower was purchased, they wanted paid at time of purchase, and yet I can't find out when a person will push the button to process my rebate because I already did all of the work and submitted it digitally. And with no answers from them, this is just a complete lack of respect for the customers who purchase their items.

Smart core flooring
August 20, 2020

I will never buy anything from lowes again because they will not stand behind their products. I did an entire home with smart core flooring 1/2 of the tiles are shiny in the other half are dull. LOWES does absolutely nothing in does not stand behind any king they sell. Close would not even send anyone out to take a look at my floor. With labor and material it cost me over 15K. Go to a flooring company and don't go to one of these Box stores. They have excuse after excuse.

After a sour experience with Lowes Orland Park. My sincere thanks for Alex in the garden center at Naperville Lowes. You should be proud of this young man's commitment to Customer Service. Something non existent at Lowes in Orland Park. Also a shout out to the gentleman in Security who pulled my item for delivery and answered my call early morning August 16,2020. Shop Lowes in Naperville you will feel their gratitude and their strong desire to accomadate your needs.

Lowe's is using Covid to not honor rebates sent in. They conveniently lost rebates sent in. Our order has been a headache since we ordered back in November 2019! Didn't find out until day before expected delivery that all our appliances, except vacuum, was on backorder till February. Called rebate center since we couldn't send in our rebate until we had the receipt from delivery. They told us it was no problem and to send it to a different address since it was a special case. The guy knew right away to find this address. Appliances get delivered, I send in our rebates. Few weeks pass and we got the smaller ones of $150, $100 for our washer and dryer. Few more weeks pass still nothing on our $700 rebate. I try calling but of course everything has been closed. We keep trying to call every so often until they open back up. Then we end up in a loop of click this number, you need to be redirected, oh actually you need to go back to the previous department, and repeat. Finally talked with store associate who went above and beyond in trying to help us with the rebate and staying in touch with is. He finally tells us that all rebates previously turned in have been lost. We end up talking with a call center about resubmitting our rebate, with proof of rebate and purchase for them to tell us the rebate is too old now and they won't honor it. This has only been a review on their rebate system, I have at least three other stories on their customer service, installation and delivery. I've had problems both in and out of the store.

No one helped

Went into lowes on 8/15/2020 around 3-3:30. Could not find what I needed which was a fan switch for a ceiling fan. Looked for an employee and they said someone would be there and no one came. Waited 20 minutes and no one. Asked another employee and waited again and nothing. Ended up walking out without product because of lack of customer service!

Lowe's Delivery Mixup
August 13, 2020

Lowe's delivery service will tell you to expect delivery of an item, then bring the wrong item.
You take a day off of work to accept delivery all for nothing. When you call customer service they can't explain the mixup. I'm choosing Amazon next.

This product is crap. Purchased and used one time to cover items hauled in my pickup. The seams failed and split, the eyelets came out and the ends frayed. There is nothing "heavy duty" about this product.

Never again

I will never order another appliance from Lowes. I'm renovating a house and ordered 6 appliances from Lowes over 2 months ago. When I ordered them they said they were all "in stock". One day after I placed the order the circus began. First call was to say they're waiting on 3 of the products which were back ordered and the order would be delayed a month. A month later the day the appliances were supposed to be delivered I got a call saying 2 of the appliances were still not in stock and it would be 2 more weeks. 2 weeks later on the day they were supposed to be delivered I got a call and they said they didn't know when they would be in stock and would call me back "sometime soon". I've never ordered appliances from Lowes before and I will never order appliances from Lowes again. My customers angry, I'm angry, and Lowes just says sorry nothing we can do. In all my years on this earth I've never seen anything like this. Totally incompetent and most definitely unprofessional. When this is over I will NEVER AGAIN make a major purchase from Lowes!

I was trying to find some garden soil online and the website said they had it - but there were two different item numbers for the same product at the same price. I called to check availability - because that looked odd. The people at the store couldn't find either of them, stated inventory issues.

Utter incompetence

Upon receiving a garage door opener from Lowes via an online order and discovering the installation manual was in French instead of English, I called Lowes customer service. Customer service representative exhausted options on her end and ended up telling me to download the manuals on Lowes website in English. However, at this point the item was not showing up on Lowes website. She couldn't find the item, I couldn't find the item, both of us searching using Lowes item number and manufacturer model number. She transferred me to someone else who was even less helpful than her. This is utter incompetence! Now, I am stuck dealing with the problem myself.

I placed and order in May 27th online for pickup from yonkers took a week to confirm the order it was so urgent bought it from a different store and no option to cancel the online, you have to hold the phone for hours could not cancel the. Final some one has picked up the order on July 18th and appeared on my statement, My order #*******, Be aware the staff may have involved to this fraud to pickup.

I had the sweetest employee at Maplewood Lowe's! I exchanged a pump for a waterfountain I had bought and the new didn't have all the pieces in it and she went out of her way actually above and beyond to find the piece in the old one I returned and she mailed it to me... and I got it the next day! Thank you LaVania Wagner you are the best! Workers like you r hard to find!

Horrible

I am completely appalled at the "customer service" department at Lowe's and am completely offended at their sorry excuse to try and rectify a situation. I recently purchased materials in the amount of $2604. 64 to remodel two bathrooms. I purchased 2 vanities, 2 toilets, 2 light fixtures, 2 mirrors, tile, 2 faucets, towel rack, towel ring and toilet paper holder to be delivered to my home. The order was placed on 6/16. The faucets have yet to be delivered when their expected delivery was 7/8. The towel ring, towel rack and paper towel holder were delivered in silver when I had ordered bronze. The renovations began today and when we unboxed one of the vanities there is a LARGE crack in the wood. I called customer service and sat on hold for FIFTY EIGHT MINUTES to simply request my $65 delivery fee be refunded now that I have to lift a 218 pound vanity onto a truck and haul it back to the store myself as well as the items that were shipped in the wrong color (completely eliminates the convenience of having everything shipped to my home in the first place). I was informed that they could not do this. Again, I spent $2604. 64 at their store and at least half of my order was wrong, not shipped (over a month later), and/or damaged. I now am inconvenienced that I have to bring everything back to the store myself to return/exchange. I don't feel that it was unreasonable to request a refund of my delivery fee seeing that I now have to load everything up and bring it back to the store myself for THEIR MISTAKE. Horrible, horrible customer service. I will never, ever shop at this store again and I caution anyone to order from them. That is, unless you expect to receive 50% of your order wrong or damaged with absolutely no customer service skills or willingness to make things right.

The worst!
Maria in plumbing department did not want yo help in any way! Its Sunday she needed to stay home! And the 3 extra associates in the flooring department could not stop the story time at
4:30 pm. Then the gal with the purple shirt that
Does the curbside pick up could not be bothered when a customer is trying to ask a question!
I took the time to let Christina the manager...
But run from this location!

Order online!

Less aggravation and at your door step!

I purchased a Product Source kitchen faucet in May. I paid for insulation. It would only spray a after 2 weeks. I requested a replacement but only got a different color sprayer with hose from Product Source. I contacted Lowe's and they said to bring the old one. I would have to pay for removing the old one and pay for a new one. Don't buy Product Source.

Delivery Service

Scheduled to have a refrigerator delivered at a rental priperty of ours. The 3rd party delivery company driving a Lowe's truck showed up more than an hour after texting and saying 20 min. Driver refused to change door to open to the left. Said he had to many deliveries. He wouldn't talk to his own delivery company (that wanted to talk to him) we had on the phone. He loaded up the fridge and left. Went to another company and bought a fridge and a range that use their own delivery people. Done buying appliances at Lowe's or Home Depot that use a 3rd party delivery company.
