I bought one window and one door and installation. The installer did a fine job. However, it took forever. To be honest, I ordered them on June 5th. The door was installed in mid-July and the window (which was left here when the door was installed) on August 15th. My credit card was charged the full amount June 26th. All the work was done well but I would not buy any services from Lowes in the future.

I needed gift cards for my father who lives out of the country and loves to shop at Lowe's for "all of his nicknacks" the day after Christmas and then fly home. I ordered 12 gift cards (the money was pooled by family members) Because I thought it would be cute to personalize them. I ordered them in plenty of time according to the dates established by the website. I was not charged until they shipped at which time I was informed they would not come in until the 27th of December. My father will be gone by then. Not to mention they double charged me and froze Mt account. I called immediately and I asked if they could void the cards and refund my money. The solution I was given was keep them for next year... I truly hate this company. HOME DEPOT FOR LIFE!

Piss poor co.

Waited a month for their door installer to come and look at the front entry door for replacement of about 3K. Never showed up never called. Tried for 4 days to contact someone in doors and windows Plymouth store. Could never get anyone to answer the phone called at least 30 times. Waited 30 minuets to talk to store manager he wouldn't come to the phone.

I have tried to replace broken Kobalt mechanics tools twice now. Both attempts were a huge hassle. Lowes advertises a lifetime no hassle warranty. This is false advertising and i am contacting a lawyer. Today they told me Lowes has cancelled the Kobalt lifetime warranty on mechanics tools. Thier web site staes it and the packaging on thier tools states this as well. The people that work there claim you have to have a reciept now and it is only a 90 warranty.

Be careful when you shop at Lowe's they charge your credit card double for same items,check your list before you pay, if you call they don't wana check your transaction, cameras or return your money over phone.You have to drive back with all buy even if you live 20-30 minutes away, and even if you had truck full of bricks they don't give damm. And when you do come back waste money for gas and 3 hours of time, satle refund, they tell you will take 10 days to get money back. 😡😡 So unprofessional.If you not rich that you can ignore extra charges for nothing or if you speak broke English Don't because if you call with broken English accent, they just tell you they don't understand come to store and hang up on you.

Worst Customer Service
October 27, 2020

I bought a dishwasher a few months ago and it is a disaster. I called Lowes and they told me to call Frigidare. I called Frigidare and they sent me back to Lowes. The Managers never call me back. I just asked the Salesperson if they could take this back and I would pay the difference to get another dishwasher. He advised me that I need to buy another one and they would give me a discount. Are you kidding me?

Installation

I purchased flooring for 2 bedrooms from Lowe's in Sarasota Florida they sent Eryk Szulborski to install. This guy was the best worker. He worked alone n worked til 8:30 pm til the job was finished. He was polite kind respectable he cleaned every thing up, also moved the furniture by himself n left the rooms spotless n put the furniture in its original place. Because of Eryk i will be using Lowe's for my future projects n recommend Lowe's to all my friends n neighbors. Lorraine DelCore *******030

Sometimes purchases are out of stock, but I don't find out until I pick up in store. Check out is easy but shipping options aren't the best.

I just shop in store now, since our local staff are so great! (Near Elkridge MD)

I ordered a Christmas tree from Lowe's on Dec. 12th with the expectation that the tree would be delivered by Dec. 17th. It is now 3 days before Christmas and, after calling Lowe's, I am told that the tree will not be delivered by the holiday. Worse yet, the order can not be cancelled even though only a shipping label has been sent to Fedex.
I was also told that I could return the tree to the store for a full refund by Jan. 1st.
I have a small car and this is a 6 1/2 foot Christmas tree - NO PROBLEM THERE.

June 3, 2020

Yesterday I came to Lowe's to pick up an item that was supposed to be here may 29th when I go to the long beach lowes... there's not a particular section for pickups so I hunt a employee down and asked them where are the pickups they tell me it's with the returns I go to returns and it's a long line... We ordered some Levelor custom blinds with the assurance that if they were not right, we could return them. They were a disaster - didn't hang straight and the headrail was 3x noisier and stickier than our 20 year old one. We returned them, but were refused the shipping costs. Tried to speak to a manager, but she kept avoiding us. She even put a message on their system that said she had spoken to us and confirmed the refusal to refund shipping. That was a lie because she never spoke to us. We never met her. The sales people could have also told us that shipping costs were non-refundable instead of the assurance of a full refund, but they kept quiet and looked very sheepish when asked why that information wasn't given us. Never again Levelor and never again Lowe's.

Worst customer service I've experienced to date! They will take your money for large appliances online only to cancel the order later. I am very thorough and called to verify before to no avail. Now I'm waiting on someone to pick up after being disconnected 3 times. This place is unethical and should be reported to the BBB! Worst customer service I've experienced to date! I have been chasing these thieves for hours. Stealing from the community during a pandemic! I will be seeking a lawyer for obtaining money under false pretense. From the other reviews left on this page Lowe's should be shut down! I have contacted media outlets and I suggest you do the same. They need to be exposed and investigated to the fullest! Beyond the call of duty

I was looking at the display of extension ladders at the Albany Lowe's, when approached by an employee in his 50s or 60s who asked if I needed help. I said I needed a 24-foot ladder, and thought one with a fiberglass frame (but aluminum steps) would be lighter than an all-aluminum one. He assured me it was the other way around, and he was right! I then mentioned that I'd buy the 24-foot aluminum one, but I'd have to come back for it with a trailer because there was no way it would fit into my car, and it didn't have a rack on top. He then asked me where I lived, which was maybe 10 or 12 blocks from the store, and said he would deliver it himself, in his pickup, when he got off work at 2. And he promptly did! Wouldn't take any money for doing it, either! His name was Todd Braniff, and he's the type of man who may help restore our faith in America.
PS. - Sitejabber is demanding that I provide proof of purchase. That's too complicated.

Less than a year ago I purchased a 300.00 TroyBilt pressure washer from Lowes in Acworth, GA. I used it a few times before the winter, then when I tried to start it this spring it would not start. I took it back to the same store for service, and they are charging me over 100.00 for repairs, even though it is within the 1-year parts and labor warranty. The excuse is that I used commercial gas instead of the pre-packaged fuel they sell, and the ethanol in the gas was what caused them to have to replace the carburetor. I spent over an hour on the phone with them and the result is they told me to call the manufacturer because it was not Lowe's. It was TroyBilt or Briggs & Stratton that was the problem. I will never shop at Lowe's again.
