Don't bother making multiple attempts to complete your travel on the website. We had to call after multiple attempts to actually make our reservations.
Only complaint is I was able to book a seat for a flight that already sold out and they made me pay an extra $100 to book another seat. I feel they could do better in guaranteeing what seats are available when you buy.
I was quite happy with prices, etc. however, I was shocked after I had paid and received my booking confirmation when Boise, sales rep insisted that I had to pay a couple hundred more because the taxes somehow weren't included. Not only is this illegal but it clearly states in the t&c's that it is. I do not understand how or why this happened and now, to be honest I do not feel secure in payments and the website.
Showed me the price and total of all taxes but when I bought it charged a higher price saying it was tax.
I found a great deal with lookbyfare and went ahead with the transaction using affirm for monthly payments. Maybe thirty minutes after i finalized everything i got 3 calls from the same number at first i wasn't going to answer but the third time i picked up. A gentleman was on the other line did not say identify himself ir the company only wanted me to confirm the flight details. Finally said there was a $200 charge apart from the affirm payment that had to be made using a debit or credit card. I thought it was a strange charge so i asked for a breakdown email. He sent me two i figured it did not look legitimate and i said i wasn't going to me making the payment as i was unaware of this charge when making the transaction. He said okay since you were not aware i will be waving it. He thanked me and hung up. After i was done talking to him i got a strange vibe from this transaction but shook it off. When i finally got my e-ticket number and reservation number maybe 2 hours after the original transaction i went to the airline to confirm if these were legitimate. They weren't found of course. I called customer service and explained i needed to cancel. After repeatedly saying i needed to cancel the representative seemed to want to know more about my life than me. Why do i need to cancel? Why i won't be traveling? Why won't i make different arrangements. Finally after acknowledging that the 24 hours hadn't passed and i was entitled to cancel he told me affirm would be totally refunded for the amount but i had to pay $25 each passenger for processing fee WTF i refused of course. He spoke to the manager and said "this time i wouldn't pay". While still on the phone he sent me an acknowledgment email that i had to click on a link to confirm refund. Super strange. BEWARE
It was quick and easy to book. The itinerary was easy to understand.
When I made a reservation, I read the sentence "free cancelation for 24 hours". So yesterday I request your customer service person of canceling my ticket. Then she said that I must pay cancelation fee if wanted to cancel or change the itinerary. I would pan to reserve another ticket on your site. Finally I could not cancel my ticket. This is my first reservation on your site.
Received call that credit card was declined. In fact I was told that the fair was higher but credit card was charged. I was not alerted further
Came up in my search and bounced my around. I found it difficult to find the flight I was searching for without getting sent to other screens
