It is so boring and i don't learn anything from the program. The games are pretty good but my teachers never let me go on them. In my opinion I ready Sucks
Iready sucks. All of the lesson percentages are unrealistic and you have to get almost everything correct just to barely pass. Not only is it unrealistic and a scam but it takes so long just to finish one lesson. There are 2 lessons in 1 and it takes up atleast 10 minutes to complete one. No one in my class likes iready and it is 100 percent a scam. I recomend using kahoot or something to replace it instead of putting a screen infront of your students and making them do work nonstop with no reward. Overall, iready sucks, please do not use this.
Iready is dumb and they make us do this in school everyday which takes up 5 days to do and its a waste of time and my principle is crazy to like this website. The owner is a torturer for kids and should go to hell for creating it. If u like it, ur dogwater and will look as ugly as plory from iready (who is also dumb if u didnt know)
At this point you already know what this is gonna be about. I-ready is nominated for the best award for causing stress for middle school students (and others). And its so strong it makes you just want to throw your computer. Its obvious! First you have the lessons of course. Ah, we sure love to take our precious time listening to almost an HOUR OF THE INTRO. Also, the darn-diddly-doo grading is what pisses me off. 2 wrong? Good try my friend! YOU GET A FREAKING 67%! Ohhhh let me see you got 3 wrong? TAKE THIS 54% WILL YA!? Like why.? ಥ_ಥ
ヽ(`Д´)ノ
Reason why its bad.
1. Limited Accuracy: I-Ready may not always accurately assess a student's knowledge and skills. It relies heavily on multiple-choice questions, which may not fully capture the depth and breadth of a student's understanding.
2. Overemphasis on Testing: Some argue that I-Ready places too much emphasis on testing rather than fostering genuine learning and critical thinking. The program focuses on frequent progress monitoring, which can create stress and a "teaching to the test" mentality.
3. Lack of Personalization: While I-Ready offers personalized learning paths, it may not fully adapt to the unique needs and learning styles of individual students. The program may not provide enough opportunities for customization and differentiation.
4. Insufficient Teacher Involvement: Critics argue that I-Ready can reduce the role of teachers to mere facilitators, as the program takes over a significant portion of instruction time. This lack of teacher involvement may hinder personalized support and guidance for students.
I ready is A stupid annoying program that only tells kids what their doing wrong and causes so much stress and Makes me SO mad it takes ages to complete and always explains what the child is doing wrong and Its just STUPID AND IS A SON OF A B**** I want to delete I-ready from the world It is just so stupid
It gives me burnout, I'm in 6th grade, the lessons are long and boring, and they waste your time when you already know what the question is but they still explain it, its awful in my opinion, and should be kept away from kids, I used to be so much happier when I was in fifth grade, there was no i-ready, now in 6th grade I'm very annoyed, would not EVER recommend
I've had friends cry heck even I cried this company SUCKS it makes kids disengaged and makes them loose focus you cant use this without getting angry or annoyed it is just incoherent and poorly structured.
Waste of time and a piece@#$&. Made me stay up all night and have the worst headache ever. It is super slow. I could drive to china and back while waiting for a lesson to start.
IReady, or as some students so fondly name it, "iReadyToKillMyself", is one of the worst investments of the public school systems to date! (other than couselors, really who did they help?)
This horrid website is the stuff of nightmares. Whether youre in 1st or highschool iReady is sure to give you that helping hand off the edge.
Its so terrible none of the answers are right and half the time it doesnt even work and whoever owns iReady and tells teachers to use it I hope both sides of your pillow are hot and you step on your childs lego barefooted, i hope you staple your finger, i hope you eat a tortilla chip vertically and i hope you drop a hammer on your left nut and this is absolutely horrendous i hope you burn your mouth with hot chocolate i hope someone puts hot sauce in your tea dumbnut
This is the most useless website. It won't help you at all in learning. It's a waste of time and you should go do better things in life than this $#*!.
Is there a LESS engaging way to do read and responses? You're telling me i have 3 days to complete those GOD AWFUL READ AND RESPONSES!?!?!?! They don't make sense half the time, They've got more than 10 paragraphs just for me to answer THREE GODDAMN QUESTIONS this stuff makes me want to d! E (THIS IS A JOKE I LOVE LIVING!) but my LORD this is absolutely awful i would rather do ANYTHING ELSE than this god forsaken "game"
None of the stuff I ready teaches me is gonna prepare me for the real world, it causes stress, usually takes an hour to do, and even makes me play games. All I can say is don´t ever use this.
I-Ready is a $#*!ty platform that is supposed to "educate" kids on their learning and math skills along with reading. The two most important subjects, I've left a review before in the past but i-Ready is really that bad.
Yesterday in class when I was doing an i-Ready lesson I got a question wrong (thinking it was the right one) and it made me want to poke my eye in a knife. I-Ready causes stress, confusion, suicidal thoughts to kids. This platform is harmful to kids so parents if you are reading this review. PLEASE DON'T LET YOUR KIDS DO I-READY THE PLATFORM IS $#*!ED AND IT'LL STRESS YOUR KID.
This is the worst learning sight I have seen iv been forced to do ixl extra math and by far the worst yet has been iready the lessons are pointless I have learned nothing from the 300+ lessons I have been forced to do sense 2nd grade I'm in 7th now this is the worst if possible I would give 0 stars
This app taught my class that Hitler was a saint, that Taiwan is a state in the U.S, downloaded viruses to their laptops, and had adult subjects related to sexual activities and vulgar topics
This website sucks it's the worst website ever! I don't know why teachers even use it! It's like they love to torture kids (and in my school they definitely do)
This app is not good for children at school. Every time my child comes home she has homework to do and it stresses her out. I say schools should not allow this app at all.
I kinda like i-Ready but the teacher assigned NO WAY! It's not fun! :( i-Ready is um... I guess it could be better... and I'm giving it a 3/10 ok don't judge me it's my opinion. And I'm Mia
Answer: It's designed extremely poorly. So, therefore it makes it miserable to do. It also doesn't help that the school systems don't give a shit as long as the TEST SCORES are high so they can get GOVERNMENT FUNDING.
Answer: Sweetheart, you might want to sit down for this one. It's because they want you to suffer an plethora of hours just for you hear an irrelevant explanation that you knows it's blindingly transparent and gratuitous to make pontifications.
Answer: Because its so goofy agh and boring as heck itself
Answer: I DO NOT THINK YOU ARE A DUMBASS SORRY ABOUT THAT JUST RELOAD THE WEBSITE BEFORE ITS DONE SPEAKING
