I don't know why I didn't learn. I ordered items at Christmas and they took forever to ship. And when you contact customer service the give you a canned answer to just keep waiting. I recently ordered again and my shipped package hasn't moved in two weeks it's obviously lost, and they are of no help. I just filed a claim with PayPal to get my money back. Do not order from them online.
I tried doing three buy online pick up in store orders, only to find they were immediately cancelled stating the item was no longer in inventory. Curious, I called the stores and the items were in the store. I earned my Loft Cash and wanted to use it before expiration. You are cheating your loyal customers first by not letting them use what they earned and second by not mailing your loyal client base monthly coupons or promo codes. Poor, unacceptable business practice to say the least.
I was treated like dirt by the employees. The employees at Loft Outlet in Smithfield NC were unprofessional and unfriendly. I bought an overpriced sweater from the store and wanted to return it by mail because I live an hour away. The store manager would not allow me to mail it back to her for a refund. Other stores would gladly allow it. I called Corporate office and they refused to assist me as well. I will never shop there again! It's no doubt why stores like these are going under- poor customer service!
I really like the store and their clothes but I will stop ordering online from them (and I buy most of my purchases online). They have terrible customer service. I placed an order 3 weeks ago and haven't heard a word since. I tried using the text feature to get answers. The told me they were reviewing and would get back with me soon. That was almost 24 hours ago.
My husband bought me a shirt too large fo my birthday. When I wanted to exchange the shirt with him, I was told the amount they can exchange was $10 dollars. Although he paid $56.00. I had the gift receipt but the manager told me they had no access in their system after 30 days. Needless to say, I will never shop here again and encourage others to be careful when buying gifts. The gift receipts are not useful after 30 days. Overall they stole $46 from us on this transaction. Never again
Loft.com uses the worst combination possible for shipping: the USPS and Pitney Bowes (as third party fulfillment). Don't count on orders arriving on time. Don't count on tracking info to be remotely accurate. This is why they are losing to retailers like Amazon. All they needed to do was use a better service, such as FedEx or UPS. I would have paid for that option if it were available when I placed my order. Order placed before Thanksgiving, but still no shipment and no tracking info. Pitney Bowes and USPS are lost. Oh, but the USPS had no issues delivering all of those ballots (eye roll).
I can't believe while Loft.com is being rebuilt, they have the site up with so many technical issues. I have tried to place an order on 2 different days in a span of 2 weeks, and the order does not go through with a message that I need to check all my information. I finally contacted customer service and was advised to try different browsers. I tried 3 different browsers and still got the same error message. Called customer service again, and found out that it is the Loft.com portal that is misbehaving, and even though it has been suggested to the company to bring the site down until the issues are fixed, the company has not agreed!
I also noticed while searching for specific items, the un-selected styles were being included in my search results!
I am in awe that a big company would act so irresponsibly and unprofessionally for sake of greed, wasting customers' time and damaging their name. No more business from me.
LOFT is a piece of trash. I had ordered a bunch of stuff on their website that was listed as on sale for $8. They then later that day send me an email that states my order is cancelled bc the items are no longer in stock when if you go to their website they clearly are in stock. I called and they were able to fix it and said it was due to one item being out of stock. Then, the next day I get the same email and call them back and they say "oh sorry there was a glitch in the system so we're just cancelling your order, if you want the item you can go online and buy the it for full price". So not only did they lie about it being out of stock but then they wouldn't let me purchase the items for the original price I purchased them the first time. Would not recommend.
Twice now I have placed an order only to find out the item has been pulled from the website. This last time was a two piece outfit. I only received one piece. I paid over $9.00 in shipping and shipping tax only to have to pay it again when trying to order a similar matching piece. I had to call to find out my order was NOT being delivered. Customer service doesn't care. I am a very long time customer that will not use them again.

Horrible customer service. Got charged a $25 fee for a processing issue. I by accident tried to pay IN FULL online and missed a digit. They did not help me and instead said this fee is staying no matter what. Terrible! I would never recommend this card to anyone that i know. Not when you know they do business like this!
I have been a loyal Loft customer for several years. I usually have had a good experience shopping in their stores. But when I made an online order, I had a different experience. One item never arrived. I was notified that it was out of stock a full two weeks after it was supposed to have arrived and only when I emailed to inquire about it. The other item arrived damaged. I figured I could just return it to a store. But it would seem they have closed all the stores in my area. When I went online to find out how to return it via mail, that part of their website does not seem to be functioning. Interesting, because the ordering part seem to be working just fine!
I placed an order on 6/23, said order would be delivered by 7/14. Today it's been 42 days, and still nothing!
Getting a hold of customer service is a joke, and when they do respond, they are useless!

As a working mom, time is the most precious - and taking the time to order clothes is a luxury. For the past several orders, I received a message weeks later that my order could not be filled. I removed myself from the emails but made the mistake of going back one more time. I have been shopping there for almost 20 years - but no longer.
I had a terrible experience with Loft. They are absolutely horrible, they promised to help and they never refunded and when I followed up. I received no help. Don't buy from them those who do not value loyal customers don't deserve our business. Safe your self the trouble and buy somewhere else.
Everytime I order an XXS petite, they send me a tent 3 sizes too big, fit for a giant. This keeps happening. I think they are carelessly slapping on tags on the wrong products. I am beyond livid. I now have to take time out of my busy day to send merchandise I really wanted back to the warehouse. I also did my homework and went to a Loft store to do a size comparison and the xxs petites at the store are sized correctly. I am no longer going to order from them. It's a waste of time and money.
They are selling the clothes on the web site, which is not available. They are making people to spend money, and after just sending an email with a half order being shipped. Very disappointing! Look like no one managing the web site!
Retail store staff not friendly and bad customer service. Tried to return item ordered online to store in shopping plaza in town for wrong size. Loft 30 day return policy is not consumer friendly. I didn't know about the 30 days. The staff in store were rude only stating read your receipt. Not only did I lose money on the return, less than 1/2 what I paid, they would not credit the card I used to buy the item only gave me store credit $15.00. I would think Loft would be in the business of trying to keep customers, not chase them away.
The shape is weird! Only order on Amazon prime. The return policy for loft is ridiculous. I have called and it was busy I have tried their texting policy and got nowhere and I've tried emailing and it's going to cost me $10 to return an item that I don't want that I paid for a black Friday deal only 20. I'm very frustrated and will never order or walk into a loft store ever! And I want everyone to know only buy online through Amazon prime-it's the only way. Buyer be warned!

Small replacement tank, I bought Amazon Prime, the Loft tank is in the LEFT-it is labeled Small! It is so wide! I should get my money back.
Literally worst thing I have ever experience with the such expensive companies like these. Overpriced and still no help. Spent more than an hour with chat online and mobile and no one could help. They literally didn't respond to my questions about the site not loading. They don't deserve my money!
