If you have a "Rewards Loft Card". Cut it up.if dont use the card, in 6mths. They will close your acct and run a credit report before they decide to reopen your acct. They dont respect customers time. These stores, will go out of business real soon.
I always paid my balance in full and on time. As of end of 2022 they decided to charge me $1.00 interest charge on my balance. But I did not have any balance! And then they continue adding a late fee on the interest charge. Until it piled up to $15.84, and after paying that in full, they sent me a next statement for another $31.68, when my last purchase in their store was almost a year ago and which was paid in full.
LATE FEE ON INTEREST CHARGE ON A $0.00 BALANCE. That's how they summarized it over the phone. The rep Adrienne was extremely rude, very disrespectful tone, she would not let me talk, raising her voice and demanding to listen to her. Very unprofessional!
I paid the late fee on the interest charge in full and closed my account with Loft. THEY ARE FRAUD. I will never set foot in their stores again. God bless them!
Nice staff good discounts terrible pay. Especially upper management could care less about you. No loyalty to their employees
I can't believe while Loft.com is being rebuilt, they have the site up with so many technical issues. I have tried to place an order on 2 different days in a span of 2 weeks, and the order does not go through with a message that I need to check all my information. I finally contacted customer service and was advised to try different browsers. I tried 3 different browsers and still got the same error message. Called customer service again, and found out that it is the Loft.com portal that is misbehaving, and even though it has been suggested to the company to bring the site down until the issues are fixed, the company has not agreed!
I also noticed while searching for specific items, the un-selected styles were being included in my search results!
I am in awe that a big company would act so irresponsibly and unprofessionally for sake of greed, wasting customers' time and damaging their name. No more business from me.
I recently went online to order a pair of "girlfriend" style pants in a color called Coastal Grey. They were at a good price of $35.99. By the time I went to order them later in the day EVERY size was sold out. The next day I went to look to see if by chance my size had come back into stock and miraculously ALL the sizes were now available at a higher price, same exact item. Something sounds fishy. It's almost like if they oversaw a certain item they claim it's out of stock so they can then put it back in stock and charge a higher price. Won't be shopping with loft anymore.
Beware of unauthorized billing re: Ann Taylor / LOFT store card! A company called "Account Assure" has been billing me for over 4 years in small amounts monthly ranging anywhere from $0.10 - $26.00. I never caught it, as I've had this store card for years and never had anything shady like this happen to me ever. LOFT claims I signed up for it, but I never did. I filed a complaint with BBB, results still pending. This is an outrage and I implore you all to carefully review your monthly transactions re: store credit cards, as the company is closely associated with Victoria Secret, Loft, Ann Taylor, and many others. I canceled my Ann Taylor LOFT store card after 20 years of being a loyal customer. They were complicit in this scam and are the AT customer rep knew all about it and gave me the Account Assure phone #. The amounts AA billed me would vary every month, which is why I never caught it. This "Account Assure" is supposedly a protection service plan which covers your credit card bill if you die. They are supposed to bill you for $1.29/ for every $100 you owe on your card. HOWEVER, THE MOST I'VE EVER OWED IN ANY GIVEN MONTH WAS $800, YET THEY BILLED ME OVER $26+ THAT MONTH! This company is a total scam, never sent me any emails or mailed me any paperwork re: enrollment. The Better Business Bureau has them listed a D+ company rating & there are thousands upon thousands of complaints. Please protect yourself and report them on BBB. Whatever store they are associated with obviously gets a kickback, so don't expect them to help you. See my pics / attachments to see what they've been doing to me for the last 4+ years. I have many store credit cards that I've had for decades each, I never imagined one of them would scam their customers like this. Check your transaction statements and beware when signing up for any store credit cards.
…. Ruin your credit! They don't process the returns properly even after you provide proof of the return being delivered, and then they charge you late fees upon late fees fraudulently, they are totally into predatory lending, and nobody speaks English, and they're all out of the country. Do yourself a huge favor. Don't do business with the loft and especially stay away from Comenity bank or Bread financial or whatever bogus name they're using now. Don't shop at stores that use Comenity bank! Keep credit in the USA with places like Nordstrom and Von Maur.
I ordered online and I had made a return of a few of the items in my order to a store. I logged onto my account for several days after that and do not see the return or a credit issued. So I call. After confirming my identity 4 times and being shoved to talk to this one and that one. The 1st person said,"I don't know why you can't see it I can" that was her way of solving the problem, she then transferred me without notice. The 2nd person said, "I'm not sure why you can't either". The 3rd person says, "you have a credit of $X" and I request it to be mailed to me. I say well I still can't see the activity on my account which worries me. She also informs me my account has been closed. Without requesting anything she immediately transfers me again to another person. He then states, "you have a credit of $X and it will be mailed to you and your account has not been closed and is in good standing".
Their customer service is horrible. I would give negative stars if I could. No one was helpful and I don't know if I could trust that anyone of those people I spoke to knew what they were doing.
I like Loft the store but will NEVER use their credit services again. Absolutely atrocious.
Everytime I order an XXS petite, they send me a tent 3 sizes too big, fit for a giant. This keeps happening. I think they are carelessly slapping on tags on the wrong products. I am beyond livid. I now have to take time out of my busy day to send merchandise I really wanted back to the warehouse. I also did my homework and went to a Loft store to do a size comparison and the xxs petites at the store are sized correctly. I am no longer going to order from them. It's a waste of time and money.
How is this store even in the business? Horrible clothes, worst than old outdated consignment shops. I have a $200 gift certificate and have been on this site for 2nd time now and NOT a thing is appealing to me. Worst clothes that are overpriced. I may not even wear these clothes if they are for free. Disappointed shopper.
Extremely unhappy. I oredered 3 sweaters. Received 5 so far and they keep charging me. I called and tried to speak with a supervisor and was told someone would look into this mess and call me back. Still waiting. So far I have been charged for 7 sweaters. Think before you order from this company. I will never deal with them again.
I ordered a pickup at the Store and I requested to hold a few more days and I offered to pay before pickup and they accepted. When. I went to pick up I got a nasty We don't do it from the lady. Really... rude and arrogant. As a customer I don't care I will buy from somewhere else
I remember 20 years ago almost all of my wardrobe was from Ann Taylor or Loft. I loved their clothes because they were quality and just easy style. But their quality has gotten so poor over the years, their color choices weird and it's always a hit and miss when you walk into the store - sometimes you might see several things that are cute and other times you just wonder who on earth would buy this stuff? I went from spending $thousands a year to rarely buying from them. Recently they had a great sale and I needed to get some gifts for the holidays so I found a couple staples that are pretty consistent - basic sweater and jeans, and nearly 3 weeks later they still haven't arrived. I know this time of year is busy, but every other company I have purchased items from (even sheets from Australia) arrived in less than a week. In fact, it took Loft almost 2 weeks just to process it. I kept checking back hoping to see they shipped and it was just stuck in a "processing" state for almost 2 weeks. There just isn't any explanation. I think we can stop blaming everything on Covid since every other company has managed to fulfill their orders in a timely fashion - it just seems like their quality, their overall brand is just a big let down and frustration at this point. Your customers shouldn't have anxiety about whether items are going to arrive on time or at all. Close down or do better already.
No customer service. Even when asked, they are not helpful. Thres, the manager remained behind the counter the entire hour of our shopping. And associate came out twice when asked for help. After 30 minutes of shopping and ready to check out and asking what was discounted they told us that everything in store was 40% off. Teres told us they can't get anyone to work for them. No wonder! I'm surprised they have any customers. Excuses and then defensive and not at all apologetic.
I've been awaiting a return to process from LOFT for weeks. I get that it's the holidays but I figured I'd reach out and inquire via their Chat option to find out the status of my return and hopefully have it processed soon (the tracking from my return label, too, tracks and confirms that they have had the item for quite some time). Yet, the customer service agent I spoke to was downright rude and condescending to me for merely asking questions such as time frame. Baffling that a company would allow a rep to speak to a customer like that! My questions could have easily been answered and/or resolved...but that's not anywhere close to the customer service treatment I received.
Wondering now if I'll ever get my money returned. I'll certainly never shop here again after that experience.
Recently I placed an order with wrong shipping address and from day 1 am following up to change the address or to cancel the order. I contacted them 5 times atleast prior to my shipping and every time they assured me that address will be changed prior to shipping. There is no way you can cancel the order online. Finally they shipped my order to wrong address. Now when I contact them they are asking me to reorder by paying again. This is the worst shopping experience I ever had. I am a regular customer and this is my last order from loft.
Leggings are very cheaply made. I am very dissatisfied with the lack of quality. I might as well have gone to Walmart and bought their leggings. Really horrible. I will not buy them their. I also noticed there sweater quality has gone way down. I used to make the trip to Waterloo to purchase there. I will not bother to make that trip again.
When I applied it was normal. HOWEVER not only did the assistant manager make rude comments such as assuming I'd wear crop tops( mind you I was not showing anything whatsoever and dressed appropriately), she commented that I had to dye my hair a natural color. Um, they say online that they allow whatever style as long as it is not inappropriate. She not only made rude suggestions, she didn't even read my resume on my work experience and the tasks I had to overcome. She assumed that I, a 19 year old with black and colored hair, didn't know how to clean, manage or communicate. I had to manage a very high volume store with 3 registers by myself, while assisting customers, ringing them up, stocking shelves, cleaning an front faceing, not including changing price tags and 0 counting stock. Even though I included everything I had overcome she judged me, didn't communicate, and made rude unprofessional comments. I do not suggest working at the Katy mills mall in TX. The associates name was Betty. I am highly disappointed in the unprofessional manner and confused as to why she lied. Also I had to reach out to see if she re sent the task because I was not receiving it, she never answered or got back to me. She violated my personal privacy of how I looked. I understand if it was busy, however she could give at least 1 min to reach out.
