LockpickWorld is a very serious company, very customer friendly (free loyalty points program). The communication is great (I received an email for each step of my order so I know what is in progress). The delivery took quite a time but I am not in the US but in Europe, it was during the confinement due to covid19, and LockpickWorld is just the seller, not the haulage contractor.

This company, lockpick world, is by far the best Lock Pick/Locksport/Locksmith/Entry Specialist supply company in today's market. I deal with a lot of companies that I buy from and this is the only one that has a rewards points program where you can earn points for every dollar you spend on their website and and for various reasons you can earn these points that go towards free shipping money off your purchase celebrating a birthday even they give you points towards purchases. No other company on the market, no name brand company does that, except lockpick world! They also email you to let you know that you're the reason that they're in operation that they're able to be a business Chris Dangerfield and his group actually partially email you to compliment you and thank you for your purchase and then offer you a discount on multiple items from their store. This is amazing customer service and customer care! When you buy something from their store they'll even send you a booklet sometimes telling you how to use the product and the in's and out's of it's function not like an instruction manual I'm talking like when you buy rakes Chris Dangerfield wrote a whole pamphlet a very detailed one about how to write in the different techniques in detail. This is amazing! When you buy something they'll offer you 20% off if you buy a second one or 20% off anything in the store if you purchase in the next 20 minutes. No other company does that! And I bought from a lot of companies this is the best try it out you won't regret it. I'd give him a 100 Stars if they had it go that high but it only goes up to 5 stars so 5 is what I could give them!

I was inspired to buy this after my partner and I locked our keys in the garage, at the same time. :( I can't imagine i'll be needing to pick too many locks in the future, but if i do, LockPickWorld's 01 Challenge box will have me ready! I opted to buy the book which is nice because i can just pull it out whenever for reference: it does a surprisingly good job of explaining the finesse needed for lock picking. Obviously, the videos online are easier to understand, but still, the book was well written. I wouldn't say it's a necessary purchase. I didn't realize how many picks I would be getting, so I was quite delighted at that, I already have favorites! It was cool to experiment with the different styles, and helpful at creating a fundamental understanding of what was happening within the lock as well. Im very excited to master my skills and get the next level difficulty of practice locks. If nothing else, its fun to fidget with while watching tv or riding in the car, like a brain teaser with a practical purpose!

This lock pick set is great for everyone. I "picked up" the basic of lock picking right away from it. I've got my picking times down to about three seconds, and only I've had this set for three days! It's a great set, because it has both beginner and advanced tools. I doubt I will need to buy another pair of lock picks ever again (but I might buy more stuff from Lock Pick World because I like lock picking so much).
Also, the customer service team was exceptionally good. My dad originally ordered this set for me for Christmas. Sadly, it hadn't arrived by then. My dad contacted customer service (a rep named Gayle) and it was explained to him that LockPick World had contracted with a third party for shipping, and that the third party shipper had screwed up. It was very refreshing that Gayle was so transparent and honest. But instead of just saying "Sorry, too bad," they shipped another one out ASAP. It got here after Christmas but in time for my birthday. And then ironically the second one also arrived! Gayle said we should keep both, and give one to a friend. It turned out to be my favorite birthday present!

Ordered a set of picks from them in on 12/28/2017, paid for 5-7 day shipping. Waited around 9 days and hadn't gotten a tracking number. I put in a support ticket and got a basic response about how it it should be there soon. I figured sure holiday's delays happen that's fine. Waited another week or so and still no package.
Tried to submit another support ticket which was closed within 5 minutes saying it was completed. I had to retry around 5 times before I finally got a ticket that didn't automatically close. After a few days I get another response saying it was probably lost in the mail and they will resend another set. Okay, great. Here I am on 02/02/2018 and I have still not got my package. Trying to submit another support ticket and having similar issues as before.
Very frustrating, also I noticed they have a section on their site called "testimonials" and every review is 5 star but if you go around the actual site you notice there is a lot of unhappy reviews. It seems they may display only the 5 star reviews on the front page.
I'd definitely stay away from this site, better to stick to a tried and true site. I will update this review if something changes but I've kind of lost hope at this point.
Hello John. The postal services are the bane of our life. We have been through many different services and they all have the same problems that very occasionally things go missing or get lost. Having said that, I do not know why you had trouble emailing us, for that I do not know what happened, and would like to offer my apologies. Please email me so we can get your order to you or refund you - it's your call. Also, regarding the testimonials, we deal with over 50 orders a day, that's a lot of orders and I am pleased to say the huge majority of our testimonials are great, but problems occasionally do happen and rather than talk to us, many customers seem to rage quit and leave a bad review, rather than persuing it with us and allowing us to make it right. Anyway, email us and we'll sort this out for you.

You sent us an email on Saturday March 16 - our offices are closed at the weekend, so we can only respond to you on the next working day which is a Monday. Bought a Dangerfield Praxis lockpick set. Good set but the case has a design flaw where there is a hole underneath the end of the zipper track so that when you think the case is closed, a pick can fall out. I wrote to Chris Dangerfield to tell him about the problem and said I was just going to order another type of case. He said it was a known problem and he'd replace the pick. He then checked and saw I hadn't ordered the case, asked me if I was going to. I ordered the case, received it, and no further communication. He didn't replace the pick and hasn't responded to numerous emails. He was my best friend when he thought I was still going to buy something. The pick isn't the issue. I can buy it for a few dollars from another dealer. That he doesn't stand by his products or live up to his promise to replace a pick when he said he would is problematic. The fact that all 775 reviews on the company website have 5 stars is just too good to believe. Especially since I wrote one that had 2 stars that doesn't seem to have posted yet. Bad business practices.
Not all of our reviews are 5 stars, but you are right, many of them are. If you look at the reviews they are from verified buyers, which we have no access to. Anyway, I still haven't heard from you to sort out your problem - email me and I'll put it right.

Hello Thomas - without wishing to sound rude, you said we were a 'scam' and then went on to say you ordered a pick set and we sent it to you. So not a very good scam. However, not only are we not a scam, we refund people who return their goods (unless of course they do not return them, or they are damaged or missing parts.) However, I want to make this right, so please email me with your order number and I'll look into it immediately.
My positive experience has been the following with LockPickWorld. I emailed them with a couple of questions I had about shipping, to which they responded well within 24 hours. Personally, I think 48 to 72 hours is acceptable knowing that I am not a business's only customer. So, I am totally satisfied with the timeliness of their response and they answered my questions clearly.
Shortly after receiving answers to my question, I placed my order. I received immediate order confirmation via email, and shipping confirmation within 24 hours after that with tracking.
Ok, I tracked my order and had a delivery date estimate. I was pleasantly surprised that it arrived several days earlier than the tracking indicated.
I ordered the Dangerfield Polaris Rake set. They are very nice picks, with a better than anticipated case. Like anything that you are used to by touch or feel, something new takes a bit of time to get used to. Like my old framing hammer for instance, changing to a new one after 25 years took awhile to get accustomed to... not the fault of the hammer.
I like this pick set, and have been using them on a variety of locks I use to practice on. The more I use them, the more I get the "feel" for them. Also, the included pdf file on this set has raking/rocking tips that I had not considered before and found them very useful. This set they will be part of my edc/travel kit.
In a nut shell... LockPickWorld was quick to respond to my questions, quick to confirm my order, quick to ship my order with free shipping and tracking, product arrived sooner than anticipated, the product itself is well made, priced fairly, and lives up to what it is advertised as being able to do.
In my opinion, LockPickWorld could not do anything more to make me a satisfied customer and I would recommend them to my friends.
