I bought several certificates to use at a restaurant and unfortunately they went out of business. I tried to reach out to Local Flavor only to be redirected on their site and the only way to contact them was by an online form. I never heard from anyone. Yesterday we used a different certificate and got a survey email from Local Flavor that had a phone number i called and was finally able to to talk to someone about a refund. They would only give me credits not a refund which would have been fine however it was not the full amount of credits/cash i used to purchase the certificates. They gave me a credit of $56 but it should have been $75! I have now lost out on $25 and have no other options than to use the "credit" they offered me. They would not honor the same promo or even offer something similar to it for me to recoup some of the $25 lost. Then to make things worst after talking to the already irritated manager ( i have to assume she was having a bad day since she got on the line and was not pleasant at all) she emailed me and was completely rude that email should have never been sent to a "customer we value". Customer service is awful - they need to work on that BIG time, i will never purchase another certificate from them ever again and i advise you not to do business with them either, if you do good luck if you have an issue. (she also advised me that their policy's would be changing and be getting worse - i have to assume business is not going well and they are on the brink of going under!)

I ordered 3 of the Bounce special and they worked perfect with no issues! These reviews make you nervous but I had no issues. I also got additional savings for my first order

They sell coupons to restaurant that won't take them...then won't give you a refund. Took about a year to get reply from them

If your a restaurant owner, run! Do not do business with these people. This is the deal with Local Flavor, "we will sell your food for half price" (which you see nothing from, and when I say nothing, I mean not a dime). They make $10 for $20 of your food, which YOU the restaurant owner are supposed to honor, just for them putting your picture on there website to draw in 'Cheap-asses' who won't tip, buy all the coupons they have to offer so you are feeding the same cheap $#*! family for months on end for FREE. Then when they ask for a upgrade, say Avocado on a burger or extra ranch, they $#*! and complain cuz you charged them 0.50 for it! Worst deal you can ever do. We were giving away $1200 to $1500 a month to a handful of the same customers! Couldn't get out of it. Put us out of business when we stopped offering the cheap asses free food they started writing bad reviews! Think of attracting the worst customers possible and offering them free food, that's what this program is about %100! Run!

Month after month we receive the MINT MAGAZINE at our home, advertising coupons available for sale for POPPY'S ITALIAN RESTAURANT in Ponte Vedra and BEACHSIDE SEAFOOD in Jax Beach having LOCAL FLAVOR COUPONS or sale. We rush to purchase the day the magazine arrives, only to get the message that they are SOLD OUT! I find it more than coincidence that even though we check off to notify us when they come available, we are NEVER notified, yet the next MINT MAGAZINE comes out with the same advertisement! Deceiving the public is what they are doing@@!

I purchased a certificate from Local Flavor entitling me to a $30 voucher to use at Moe's Southwest Grill. I placed an order for $39.31 and provided the certificate number. I provided the voucher to the merchant. However, when my credit card bill arrived I found that the $30 certificate was not applied. I contacted Local Flavor and they told me that the voucher was redeemed by the merchant for that transaction. I am now out the $30 certificate. When I contacted Local Flavor to explain the issue they told me that they are not responsible for anything after I purchase the certificate and that has to be worked out between me and the merchant. I contacted both my credit card company and the merchant and they both told me I need to resolve this with Local Flavor but they refuse to resolve this and work with the merchant so now I lost a $30 certificate and Local Flavor refuses to help me. They don't stand behind their certificates and if the merchant decides to just not redeem the certificate the consumer loses
