Be aware of cancelling their service right away - as soon as the first dollar was charged from your credit card. Later their charge $39 monthly for nothing!

1.95 for resume. Small print which I didn't see anywhere is $39 a month after 14 days if you do not cancel. Charged me under a different email address. Called them and they would not issue me a refund saying I agreed already. Spoke to supervisor who then tried to tell me they can only give me a partial refund because... it already processed most of the payment? Complete BS because I called them a week after the charge. DO NOT GET THEM TO MAKE YOUR RESUME. THERE ARE OTHER COMPANIES WHO WORK WITH INTEGRITY!

I didn't get the service canceled in time, so was charged the first months fee, which is my fault. But when trying to cancel on-line and remove my account, they kept charging my credit card. And then when I called and spoke with a representative to remove the 2nd charge, they would only process a partial refund. And they again charged my card for another fee. I again spoke with them today and they basically said that if I didn't have proof of the cancelation, that it was my problem. And if I felt like both charges needed to be removed, then I need to dispute the charges with my credit card. While the resume builder was good, it's not worth the hassle of canceling the account. I would NOT recommend Live Career to anyone unless you use a prepaid card to sign up with.

WAHHHH everyone is crying because they are too lazy to make their own format in a word document. This website pretty much CREATES your resume with all their examples. Stop $#*!ing and appreciate the free services. If you all weren't so lazy you wouldn't pay the five dollars and just take the content of it and make your own.

NOTHING BUT FRAUD. I MADE ONE RESUME PAID THE 1.95 TO HAVE ACCESS TO IT FIR 14 DAYS. AFTER I PAID I COULD NO LONGER ACCESS IT OR MAKE CHANGES. THEN IN SMALL PRINT THEY SIGN YOU UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP AND START RIPPING YOU OFF FOR VARIOUS CHARGES OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT. WHEN YOU CALL TO CANCEL THEY SOUND HELPFUL ON THE PHONE AND WILL REFUND YOU MONEY, BUT THEN SEND YOU EMAILS SAYING YOUR REFUNDS HAVE BEEN REJECTED. THEY ARE SUCH A SCAM THEY CAN'T TELL YOU IN PERSON. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM, THEY ARE A SCAM!

DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. They will continue to charge you even after you cancel your subscription. I was charged $40 a month for 9 months. There is nothing to do on the website. Hate this website. You're better of without it

The auto renewal is listed with the features of the 14 day subscription on the sales page, as well as on the payment and confirmation pages. We also send a payment confirmation email stating the date and amount of the auto- renewal. We do offer several ways to cancel including by phone, live chat, email and self-cancellation in your Account Settings.

Cancellation stops the auto-renewal. Once it’s canceled, we send a cancellation confirmation email for your records. There are times that auto emails can get picked up as spam or junk mail. Be sure to check your spam/junk mail folder.

I contact live chat and David Bermudez was awesome, he explained me what was the charge for, he cancelled and told me the rigth info, now im just relieve that my money is going back and that no one jacked my card! I too got scammed by this web site. I DID cancel my account within 24 hours and was charged anyway. I will be fighting this charge and filing a complaint. When I spoke to customer service, I was told I cancelled too late. That is a blatant lie. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!

Whatever you do DO NOT subscribe to this money sucking website. They are complete con-artists! My son went on there as he wanted to get a saturday job and put together a cv that he thought was going to cost him 1.45 pounds. My debit card (I am his mother) keeps being debited with random amounts of money - the latest was for 23 pounds! Be warned DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS unless you read the small print! I CANNOT RATE THIS WEBSITE AS THEY ARE CON ARTISTS.

We take great care in letting our customers know what they are subscribing to. We are very clear that when you subscribe there is an auto-renewing feature for which you can cancel anytime and if you don’t cancel your subscription, we will bill you at the monthly rate of £22.95. It is not in small print, but we stated the cost in bold and clear print and stated the details of the subscription options in bullet form, which can be clearly understood. Aside from these details, we also sent a payment confirmation to the e-mail address that your son use when he signed up, stating the amount of what you have subscribed for and the date of the auto-renewal.

We also give multiple ways to cancel the subscription: By calling our customer service number at our free phone number (44) 800-756-3741, 17 hours a day, 7 days a week; by live chat, by e-mail at customerservice@livecareer.co.uk, or you can even go to our website, where there is a self-cancellation feature under the “My Account” section to avoid incurring this charge if service is no longer needed.

We state on the sales page as well as in the confirmation email that the subscription will auto-renew unless cancelled. Many of our customers continue to use our service for several months during their entire job search.
