Last week, I ordered a large supply of light fixtures from LightUp, with more than ample time to have shipped and received for a project being done next weekend. Even their website noted delivery between Wednesday and Thursday of this week. FOUR days after I ordered, I received an email from them at 8:36pm noting they needed to speak with me to proceed with my order. Of course, they closed at 8pm, so I responded with an email to confirm the issue. Outside of a canned response, I ultimately had to call in. I called at 9am and waited on hold for nearly 30 minutes before I spoke with a girl who explained that they just wanted to confirm the address and order quantity before proceeding. I asked if their delay would prevent my order from delivering. She said no, and said she proceeded to push the order through. Relieved, I went about my day. At 1pm, another woman called and said that she was following up, because they hadn't heard from me. Perplexed, I explained that I had spoken to someone earlier in the day, and the order was put through. She said it hadn't been, and that she was ALSO calling to confirm my order... Wait, what?... once again, I asked about delivery this week, as LightUp clearly has dropped the ball. She said she would look into it and call me "right back"... which clearly meant 3 hours later. When she called me, she said my order wouldn't be guaranteed to be delivered this week, because... and this really angered me... processing takes another 3-4 days. What!? This is an absolute load of garbage company. They don't follow their own policies, it's owned by a larger conglomerate who has some of the worst custom service in the world. They dropepd the ball, lied and refused to honor their own word. Whiles it's great that many customers found service and speed exceptional, I can honestly say, there's no chance I'd ever use this company again for ANY future project. Absolutely disappointed with their lack of respect, honesty, or caring for their customers.

Lightup operates from New Stanton, Pennsylvania along with its parent company, Online Stores, Inc. for the manufacturing and shipping of their goods provided. Lightup also uses a second location in Youngwood, Pennsylvania and a third facility in Sparks, Nevada to help in the shipping and facilitating their products to its customers on the west coast. The New Stanton location has 100k square foot warehouse that is used.
The site carries an abundance of options for its lighting products and is even home to Online Stores Inc. exclusive brand, LumeGen, available through lightup.com. Among the options for products on the site are grow lights, indoor and outdoor commercial lights, exit and emergency lights, high bays, recessed lighting and under cabinet light fixtures.
Lightup sells products from larger brands in the lighting industry such as Sylvania, GE Lighting, Euri Lighting, Keystone and Morris.
Lightup works with UL Solutions or UL, LLC, one of a number of safety organizations that is approved by the United States federal agency, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to perform safety testing, as well as with Intertek, a British multinational company that focuses on product testing, assurance, inspection and certification for its products safety certifications.
Lightup also receives some its energy conservation qualifications from Energy Star, a U. S, Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Department of Energy ran program and Design Lights Consortium (DLC). Design Lights Consortium is according to their website, "a non-profit organization with a mission to achieve energy optimization by enabling controllability with a focus on quality, people, and the environment."
Lightup does offer wholesale options to qualifying customers and has a blog designed to educate and inform its readers and customers on energy efficiency and products that can help achieve this and the reasons behind it.
