Ordered new Lift supports for my boat engine cover. Had my helper hold the lid open while I replaced the old ones. Took no more than 5 mintues and now my engine coer stays up without a "broom habdle" to hold it.
According to the directions you are suppose to remove the clips off the new supports and then install the new support and correctly install the clips and they illustrate from one end. This diagram and actual installation is terrible. I did both the lift gate and the window and the installation on one side the window, the bracket would just come off after the clip was installed There needs to be a better explanation as to hold to install the clips on the new units.
