I hosted for domains and everything was fine until my account gets suspended for no reason.
No response from helpdesk.
What a waste of time and money...

I've been a Customer for about 2 Years, had Numerous Problems, Iit takes about a week or longer to get things resolved, and MOST of the time I am Smarter than their Techs!
My Site has a Security Warning on it, I'm Getting NO Emails and my Emails sent have to go out through another server as to not get flagged as SPAM.

Upcoming service interruption, Thursday, July 25 2019 at 10:00 am ET.
Due to upcoming cPanel licensing changes, we will be moving all Lifetime. Hosting plans to the 100% compatible DirectAdmin control panel.
Unfortunately, during this control panel change your hosting account will experience downtime. We anticipate a minimum 4 to 6-hour service interruption for this upgrade although it may take as long as 12 hours depending on restoration speed and factors.
Once the server is prepared, we will immediately start restoring all hosting accounts. We anticipate 80% of all accounts will be restored in under 6 hours.
We will be backing up all hosting accounts starting Monday, July 22. We recommend you do not make any changes to your hosting account on or after this date as these modifications may not be restored on Thursday, July 25.

I just became familiar with Lifetime Hosting early February 2017, so my experience has been limited. First, I have been developing websites since 1999, and I have worked with a number of fair to good hosting companies. I was attracted to Lifetime's "pay once" hosting plan, and I got a decent price through an online special.
In June I recommended Lifetime to a client who was on a budget, and then proceeded to set up his WordPress site on Lifetime... WHAT A NIGHTMARE. I do not know what IT staff they have running the network infrastrucure, but the database crashes and the network crashes (almost appeared as a DNS crash several times), the repeated EMAILs for tech support... too much loss time!
I lost nearly 30 hours of client development time bceause of the instability of Lifetime Hosting. My personal and professional projects that I setup, again around 40 hours of work, was lost due to their internal issues. I cannot recommend Lifetime Hosting in any capacity, and if you are a professional developer, stay away from them... their database trouble will cost you client and personal time.

Answer: Because Lifetime Hosting SUCKS! I am currently having the same exact problem, but guess what? This is my 10th or more time having this issue. If you can get your money back let us know. I'm sure they've figured out some scam for that too. Somebody needs to shut this hosting junkhole down.
