They are so helpful and especially Kevin he is great. I only go there for him now. He made me a returning customer for sure. The other guys are nice too. The Newark, de location is my favorite
If I could, I would give negative stars. I purchased pool steps online. It took over a week for them to realize they didn't have the steps to ship to me, and then they canceled the order. What's worse, is that they have not yet refunded my card, over a MONTH later! I have called Customer Service multiple times now, and just keep getting told to give it another 1-2 days, and they promise it will be refunded. I will never shop here again!

I quit asking them questions because I would get these really obscure answers that were absolutely no help. They don't ever have what M looking for in the way of pool equipment and accessories... too expensive
I ordered a custom spa cover from Leslie with a delivery date of early December. The cover arrived yesterday, October 25. While it was nice to get it almost two months early, the cover just 'showed up'. While cover seems to be high quality, it fits well and I'm happy with the cover, the delivery was bad. I walked out of the house and there was a giant box on my front porch. It would have been much better if I had known it was coming. I seriously doubt I will be purchasing more from Leslie.
I purchased a $1250 IAquaLink from Leslie's and paid almost $400 to have it installed. The system crapped out in less than six months and I was forced to wait 4 weeks before a technician could come to do the repairs. Another $150 charge and the system ran for less than an hour before it broke again.
Now they want to make a new appointment rather than get the guy back out here.
If you buy anything from these guys you are crazy.

They ordered me new guts for my pool pump. I don’t remember what it was called. It came to my house in Just a few days.
I was going back and forth to get my pool water tested. Every time they would sell a different chemical over and over again. Finally after spending about $150 and pool was still green, I went someplace else! Also, this is busy pool season and they hardly answer the phone. Maybe hire extra help this time of year! I won't be back!
Purchased after-market salt cell end of June 2022. It went bad last weekend. The store I patronize suggested I call corporate and they may help me out since so close to warranty date. Best they would do is a 15% discount. Woo hoo!
Over the years, I have purchased thousands of dollars of chemicals from the Palm Harbor store where I have shopped for years, purchased a robot cleaner ($1200) and Jacuzzi variable speed pump ($1,000). And the best they would do is 15% discount.
Well, I bought another after-market salt cell on line that was less money, has a 5 year warranty and stellar reviews. And as much as I like Suzy who manages the Palm Harbor store, I will be moving over to Pinch a Penny from now on.
Leslie's store in troy is horrible. They're designed to sell you products. Not solve issues. The manager is pompous, arrogant and only cares about profitability. Not people. Avoid this store at all costs. Use Huntington pools or viscount

I had a hot tub delivered in late June. By September I noticed that the cover was damaged. A few weeks later I was guaranteed a replacement. Here we are over four months later and still nothing has been delivered. The sales person who promises replacement is no longer returning my messages and corporate stop returning my emails. Worst customer experience of my life.
We were new to having a pool when we came here. We moved in right as Covid started. There was a bit of adjusting to having a pool. Amy was so helpful and patient to teach us and would write clear details for us to remember. When we followed the directions exactly, we started getting more 90% and above tests results. We even got 100% once. We also have really appreciated the friendly atmosphere. From the day we started coming in, she made an effort to remember our names, asked about our family and previous conversations. I've loved that she and some of the young people there would remember you as a person.

All pool chemicals suggested for our saltwater pool. I was grateful Amy pointed out sale items and asked if I’d like to use my points too. Quality person.
Scheduled service for my pool, to installe a water purifier. They confirmed they offer this type of service and scheduled a "site evaluation" visit. That was cancelled on the day, because the technician "called out". I rescheduled for today and having waited four hours, I called them to find out this was also cancelled because they dont offer this type of service. I strongly recommend you find another pool service company to work with.
I am not complaining about any of the stores in Leslie pools. I called the 800 number to schedule a service to change my salt cells and clean the filters. They texted me several days in advance to confirm my appointment which I did. They never showed up or called. Called back to see what happened and I was sent to the Philippines and they could not help me. They said they would send some one but no one came or called. I decided to use a local pool service company here in Queen creek, Arizona. They are coming out tomorrow and charge half the price
Do not buy any product from them expecting a store warranty. No matter how soon the return request they just refer you to the mani factory warranty?. Could have bought my IC40 Pentair from online for a lower price but thought buying from a local dealer out of Texarkana would have been better to deal with? Boy was I wrong :(

$160 for the service call just to tell you what's wrong with it, don't fix anything. $45 for a "trip" fee when they are literally 5 minuets from my house. Then they add tax, $212 total for 10 minutes of their time. They are not worth $1,000 an hour!
I have mostly dealt with the physical location in Jupiter and Rich and Michael ant this location are excellent. They always go above and beyond to help customers. They are extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous.
Leslie checks your pool water and then starts piling products up on the table saying that you need them and that if you don't use all these products your pool will never become LG free and the products can and will run up to $1,000 100 lb of powder shock cost $800 a year ago it cost me around $460 for 100 lb of their powder shock chlorine they thought it was funny when they told me the price of the product that I was asking for not very good business standards I would not suggest to go to the store for anything it's always been overpriced the chlorine Factory in Louisiana that burned down from a hurricane 2 years or so ago has been rebuilt and is putting out $130% of product daily chlorine prices should have leveled out a while back signing off my name is Bart decoro

Their prices on their products are very high stay away

I have not received the products also they did not refund me its so frustrating im about to sue their $#*!
I purchased a vacuum for my husband's birthday. I tried to order it in both of the stores locally but was told had to be ordered on line. I ordered it on August 22nd. His birthday was September 8th. He did not open the package until last week and the item will NOT work. He took it into the store and they said nothing they could do since it was ordered on line. I called customer service and was told since it had been over 30 days nothing they could do. I paid 300$ for this product. I will NEVER go into Leslie Pools again or recommend them. Local stores are not helpful. This was the second bad experience I have had with them and it will certainly be my last.

Every time I stop I'm to have them test my pool water, the device is inoperable. Without that useful service, it's easier to just test yourself and use Amazon.

I bought a brand new pool heater from them. Installed it and it didn't work, called them and they said there was nothing they could do, I would have to find a repair man that services my area and have it fixed. I just got it and installed it and it didn't work, grrr. And paid 3250.00 for it and it's on me? That is the worst ever.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have been a customer of Leslie's for 5 years and have spent a lot of money at their store. This summer I need to replace my filter system, they came out at the beginning of May and I placed an order for a new sand filter and scheduled an appointment that day for the installation, which was scheduled for 6/16. As of last week my filter had yet to be delivered, when I called and inquired about my delivery I was told they no longer have this filter in stock. This was 1 month after my order was placed, there was no communication from Leslie's that they did not have my filter. The lady on the phone was everything but helpful, she just said they can refund the money and that I would need to find the filter somewhere else. No apology or credit given for my inconvenience. I find the product somewhere else in time for my installation, I had to pay $40 more for the product. My 6/16 appointment was confirmed via 2 text messages then yesterday I get a call that my appointment is now scheduled for another month out. When I call about my appointment all they say is that "I never had an appointment for the 16th" and that the first available will be in July. I shared I had received 2 text messages from them confirming my appointment for the 16th but they denied this occurred.
Needless to say, I have found a new pool store that will install my pool filter for about $200 less then they were going to charge me, and I will never again schedule services through them. Their customer service is now handled all oversees, you can never get a direct answer from them.
I would like to thank Jordan at the Vacaville store for taking the time to find and order the parts I needed! He was not able to order everything but did inform me of where I needed to go on line and order them myself Good Job Jordan.
I have a swim spa... larger than a spa and smaller than a pool. EVERY time I get the water tested at Leslies the readings are completely opposite the readings on the test strips from Leslies. This is especially true for Total Chlorine. Test strips are new and in date. Neither local store has an answer for this issue. And they have no solution. It is not the fault of the employees... but Leslies is providing confusing information that might cause someone to damage a very expensive investment.
They asked me $16 for a gallon of chlorine. Last time they don't want to sell me chlorine because I don't have a water sample. Now because I didn't brought the empty jar the want $16. This is unacceptable….
