Boasts to Support non-sport trading card collectors and does so by rejecting and ignoring orders. Dan Abend runs a collectibles online shop Times of Legend and Lore www.legendlore.com. His secure online order form misleads customers by implying that the shop is capable of accepting international orders and multiple forms of payment including paypal, credit cards and credit cards through paypal among others. We placed an order following the instructions and indicated the items we wanted to purchase from those tagged as in stock in the website. We detailed our location as that from an overseas customer and our choice of payment method among those listed as acceptable by the online form. Almost a week after the fact, The owner informs us via e-mail that he rejects our order because he wouldnt be able (or wouldn't wan't to post) overseas. At this point most would have just carried their business elsewhere. However, since the items in questions are rare we tried a different approach in good faith, we contacted a friend local to www.legendlore.com 's recently advised postal preferences from prospectives customers and convinced him to serve as our intermediary. Under our agreement our friend would allow us to use his postal address and he would forward us the order as soon as it reaches him. We resubmit our order with the domestic address indicating our friend's full postal details as our postal carer of. Over a week elapses and no feedback is received, we request feedback directly still in good faith via e-mail. No response has been received to date in regards to either the resubmitted order or the query. After these event our friend suggests that he could place the order directly and after agreement so he does. He places the oder under his name and with his local address and an acceptable payment method under his name. Again, no feedback has been received over weeks to date. This online shop and his owner discriminate against customers and lack customer service skills and capabilities. Customer service is all about treating people how youd like to be treated when you are in the same situation. If you treat customers with uptight contempt that's what customers will rightfully give you back.
