I told them that I needed a one-time service which is front and center on their website - Guess what they don't do it. After speaking with Messiah - he said I could not speak with a supervisor UNLESS I was a customer - I would not become a customer NOW because you are a deceptive, deceitful bate and switch organization! Dumb Dumb Dumb says one time mow - would not have cared if they charged me $150 dollars I needed it done once now FORGET IT

I've dealt with many lawn servicing companies as yard work is something I'm not too fond of. Scheduling with him was a breeze and how quickly they were able to come out and get the work done that I needed was a shock to me. Usually places are a week or so out but this company makes it a point to get out there and do what needs to be done. I'm very happy with the service and quality of work he's performed.

We have been with Lawnstarter for just over a month and they have not followed their own schedule. They scheduled the first appointment and then changed it, the second appointment was set up and then changed dur to personal reasons, third appointment was changed and now this appointment has been changed. I keep getting I am sorry that this has happened to you. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, was told that they would call me back. Still waiting. Work is good when they show up.

I was looking for someone quickly to come tackle my growing grass, I found LawnStarter online and I'm so glad I did! It was a easy process, seamless and quick to get started. I enter a few necessary details and received a quote and date of service. I called customer service to inquire about a question and she was so helpful and quickly handled the concern. I will definitely continue to use lawnstarter for my future lawn needs.

Had used them for most of the summer to mow my lawn. They did an OK job, though they never trimmed the grass next to the fence. However, when I went and signed up for leaf removal it was a disaster.

First their website spit out a quote of about $100, which I knew had to be way too low, but the site didn't give a lot of options to push it higher and more accurate. A week later, when they were scheduled to come I get a message "Needs reqoute" in the evening. No offer to give me a new quote but the system automatically rescheduled them to come back, so I figured they would give me a quote then. Nope. Same message that evening a week later, so I finally asked the guy to give me one and if he could come back sooner than when the system had rescheduled as it had been two weeks by that point. He said it would be no problem, but never did. In fact, they evidently came again almost a week later as I got another message of "Reqoute" on the automatic reschedule day. Three weeks of a yard full of leaves, I canceled all services and moved on.

Dishonest and unreliable … charging a weekly fee but failing to come and do the job. They hire unreliable people who often do not show up

They mowed & edged and did a fantastic job. Super reliable and my grass looks great! Love this service.

This business is absolutely horrible. Was rescheduled 3 times and no service was ever done. Today's reason for rescheduling was either for a personal reason or couldn't get around the screened in pool due to height of grass (gave both reason for rescheduling). Rescheduled 6 months for January 11 20? Do yourself a favor and hire a Real lawn service company. Lawnstarter.com just is a referral service that refers people with a truck and a lawnmower

Andrew is the guy who cuts my grass. He does an amazing job! He lets me know when he's coming and leaving. Couldn't ask for better service.

1,500 sq ft lawn on a 3,000 sq ft. Mobile home lot. Elderly, disabled male who lives alone - no pets.

Lawn Starter is the third national lawn service over the last 12 months, so I'm a bit skeptical. Police Report made on a contractor of the first service (theft), second service just stopped showing up - they offered to send a replacement (if they could even find one) - no thanks. Lawn Starter being the third service, beginning last December. TruGreen Services and payment to the contractor during the non growing season are apparently requisites of Lawn Starter Services.

TruGreen came out on time in December, failed to show up for the late January - early February appointment. Phoned in, was told service had been terminated for unknown reasons. TruGreen Service resumed in early March. Original contractor who was coming out and doing nothing (and still getting paid) expected payment 'under the table' once the mowing season started - he was replaced. New contractor just completed his second mowing here, not on speaking terms today for unknown reasons.

Fingers crossed.

Pros: affordable, ability to add services as needed (leaf removal, shrub trimming, etc), ability to easily change frequency of services. Ability to add a tip. Landscapers do a great job, and my lawn looks great. 5/5 stars for landscapers.
Cons: Notification requesting a review after every service. Unwanted notifications for other services. Emails requesting reviews. 3/5 stars for app and annoying notifications & emails.

VERY DISSATISFIED! Poor service worker damaged my yard, cut my grass uneven and way too low. Cut flowers from my flowerbed. I filed a property damaged claim and got an email back from Jessica stating she is sorry for the poor service and damaged but she will not reimburse or replace and suggest I buy grass seeds and continue to water my grass! My grass wasn't dead or damaged until their "pro" mowed it

I am beyond impressed with the outstanding service provided. His attention to detail is second to none, leaving my lawn looking immaculate and the envy of the neighborhood. Ryan is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable about lawn care, but also extremely reliable and punctual. Every appointment was met with professionalism and a friendly attitude, making it a pleasure to work with him.

I just had some lawn service done here at my house in So. Whittier and they do a great job of mowing and edging and clean up the guy who came was very professional try them out you won't be disappointed!

LawnStarter provided great customer service and lawn care. I am able to converse with my contractor, great response time, alerts when rescheduling is needed due to inclement weather, able to adjust frequency of mowing etc. Would recommend 100%!

I am new to the community and simply did not know where to turn for assist with the lawn. I found this one through a random Google search and was very excited to see that you can set everything up via an app from quotes, to service scheduling, communication, and even payments.

My first lawn treatment (of my life) was a painless process, completed by Dawn. It was arranged via the app, and the process completed while I was away at work. They left a small sign on the lawn to inform me service was completed and a link to care instructions. I am excited to see the future results. Would highly recommend.

The crew damaged my outside air conditioning unit. When I contacted the company they basically told me unless there was video evidence then they would not reimburse me for the property damage. Cost me almost 300 dollars out of my pocket and still payed 35 dollars for the cut as well! Worst customer service I've ever heard of! Even the company I hired to fix the damage knew immediately it was damage cause by a weed eater cutting the wires! Do not use this company!
