Great site for customers! You get to customize your service and get it cut when you want at a good price. And for me. I cut lawns for lawnmowingonline.com and its a excellent service. I choose the lawns I want to cut when it fits my schedule. I have no time invested getting these jobs, just show up, cut it and get paid. Works for me.
We've used them several times and they are good if they happen to show up to do the job.
The problem is that they don't care if their contractors show up or not. They tell you straight up that you are responsible for getting the contractor to show up and do the work. We've been left texting and emailing and messaging desperately trying to get a service we payed for. Lawnmowingonline just tells us that we need to work it out with the contractor instead of just sending someone else to do the work. I would strongly recommend you use someone else.
The site is easy to use, you can't beat the price, and I definitely got more than my money's worth. The contractor was great; I hope I get the same person next time! I will use lawnmowingonline.com again and again.
It was really easy to set up the job. I had some additional instructions for the contractor who responded quickly and made sure the job was done the way I wanted. Really impressed with the professionalism and would definitely recommend to others.

I think the person that runs this site is a joke. He states that he pays his mowers 90% of the cost he charges to cut the yard. I know this to be a lie. He feels this site is the best thing to ever happen, the man is a joke. I have had horrible cut after horrible cut and he could care less. He tells me, "dont use us then", really! That is your customer service, what a joke.
I've been using them for a few months and I think it's a great idea. They show up and mow the lawn and it's cheap. I did have a mower show up a day late but it rained the mowing day so it was no problem. I recommend them.
I came across lawnmowingonline.com on Craigslist. I needed my lawn mowed quickly and they really delivered! I placed my order online and in about 15 minutes I had someone accept my order! If it hadn't rained for a couple days they would have been there the next day. First sunny day they were there bright and early and did a fantastic job! I like being able to call when I need the lawn mowed and not on a schedule. I ordered the mow for the following day and then learned it was going to rain. I placed an order on a Monday for lawn mowing on Tuesday. The order was accepted for next day service. Nobody came on Tuesday but messaged me Tuesday evening that they were running behind and would come Wednesday or Thursday at the latest. No one showed either day. I messaged the contractor and was told they would be there Friday. No one came on Friday and after being exasperated I messaged the contractor and he promised to come Saturday. Saturday afternoon I messaged him again to inquire about the mowing and he said he would not mow my lawn because the grass was higher than stated in my original order. GRASS GROWS. That is what happens when you do not show up as requested. When I asked for a refund, I was charged a $10 trip fee for the contractor coming to my house and refusing to mow it.
Longer grass takes longer to mow, so contractors have to be paid to mow longer grass. If the customer refuses to pay for the longer grass they are charged a $10 trip fee.

Both. Last year we did not mow thousands of lawns a month. And the number we mow varies according to weather. For example, we did not mow thousands of lawns in January
I haven't actually used the service but I was impressed with the customer service and communication. I ordered the online lawn mowing service for my elderly mother who lives in another state. Her landlord quit mowing the grass for free and the city gave her a deadline to cut it. He ended up cutting it one more time while I was placing the order to have it cut that very day. I had to immediately cancel - just when a contractor picked up the bid and just as my cancellation went through. Luckily, I was able to send a message to the contractor and left my cell info and asked that he contact when he read the message. He did and never went out the job. To my amazement, my credit card was reimbursed quickly - without any hassle what-soever. I do plan to actually use them in the future.
Lawnmowingonline.com is fantastic. I only pay for lawn mowing, when I need it. I don't have to commit to a contract and I request the work when I need it. It's a great idea. I highly recommend it. They're prompt (one day's notice) and professional.
This is my second time using them and I was even more pleased the second time than I was the first ( did not think that was possible). I made an appointment for the next day and the guy shows up early in the day (not to early) cuts my yard, edges the yard, blows off the grass and leaves. No asking questions that I know not the answers, just cuts my yard and leaves quietly. I could not be more pleased. The price is right, the service and customer service is great what more can I say? You gotta try this.

The contractor has been ban from the website for not mowing your property. Order cancelled and refunded. When you have problems in the future it's better to contact support first before you post negative reviews on public forums. Had you contacted support the order could have been reposted and the lawn mowed. I don't know why you said you've been texting and emailing desperately because you sent only 1 message to the contractor for the lawn that was suppose to be mowed yesterday and after you posted this negative review you sent 1 message to support. Yes, you are right, customers do need to communicate with the contractor if there is a problem, and if the contractor does not reply then the customer can contact support so the situation can be resolved. Not contact contractor, 5 minutes later post negative online review, 5 minutes later email support. That is not enough time to get anything resolved.
