Ordered my 17inch Acer screen for 100 bucks. Was quoted 300+ from store for repair. Got my parcel in the mail fast. Installed it and it has 1 dead pixel. Asked about replacement and they tell you to "buy" a return label for 15 bucks. Then a new fully tested one will be sent to me. Started reading this site. Thinking now I can just live with the one annoying bad pixel. Oh darn. 2/5 stars for this company.
Took a little longer than I expected to get my screen, but not longer than was quoted to me. Just used to getting things in 2-3 days from Newegg and the like - but then they have multiple hubs to deliver from across the US. Other than that - my screen arrived safely, despite being packed in nothing more than a box (albeit it a sturdy one) and a bubble-wrapped envelope. They had no installation videos for my particular style of computer at the time (MSI-GT70) but by watching other installation videos, I was able to pop my old screen out cleanly enough and install the new one. There were no dead pixels and so far it is still working fine after about a week. So, all-in-all I was pleased with my purchase and would use them again if needed - here's to hoping I don't need to though - nothing personal laptopscreen.com. ;)
I was satisfied with my purchase from this company, however, a couple of weeks later I got the following e-mail from them offering a bribe for providing feedback to this site:
Thank you for your order at LaptopScreen.com (invoice number xxx from xxx).
We hope your purchase is working out great for you.

I ordered a replacement screen for my Acer netbook on 4/18. Shipment arrived on 4/21. Screen was just dandy, same exact part # as what I pulled out of the Acer. Packaging was secure, double-protected by a UPS flat-pak box inside the Fed-Ex flat-pak box. (hmm, using free UPS shipping materials for your Fed-Ex shipment?)
Only really bothersome thing they have done with me is send an email today asking for this review, even though I have asked them not to save my email for any purpose beyond shipping confirmation.
Summary- great price, quality screen, borderline business practices.
Not only are their prices reasonable, they encourage people to help teach other how to replace their broken screens. My order was shipped and arrived at my house in three days, and it right before christmas when postage is usually the busiest. The site is extremely easy to navigate and theyll even help you find the correct replacement if you're having trouble finding it. Its easily going to be my go to site if I ever need a screen again. 5* for shipping, quality, price, and customer service. :)
All the info needed to select the proper screen on a laptop that has multiple versions.
The screen came fast and properly packaged. The site had install info to do it right the first time. The screen installed in 20 minutes and worked perfectly, it was also an exact match including the matte finish of the original.
This laptop is older with a real serial port needed for industrial programming, i have to keep it and the 2 matching backups working untill my customers upgrade their out of date equipment.
I would buy from them again for the following reasons.
Quality product, good communication, good packaging, fast shipping, lowest pricing and a website with all the info needed to trouble shoot, purchase and install a screen.
My one year old laptop had fallen and the screen was broken (no warranty). If I had it repaired at the (HP) dealer, I would have payed at least 400 euros for a new screen and working hours...
Fortunately, I found the right screen at LaptopScreen. It was delivered within two weeks (Canada> Europe).
I was able to repair my laptop myself for about 120 euros (new screen, shipping and customs duties).
If you're looking for a screen, be sure to check out LaptopScreen!
Greetings, Ben
I purchased a screen from them ($77, including shipping) when HP refused to fix mine (even though there was NO evidence that it was cracked) despite my warranty. My son had the old screen off and the new one on in less than 10 minutes. DO NOT take it somewhere to have it installed, as it is extremely easy. I would have done it myself if my eyes weren't so bad on close up work. I am planning on buying one for my Toshiba Satellite (the crack on this one IS my fault!) as soon as I can. Great price + quick turnaround = a happy customer!
Give them 4 stars; great service, excelant how to videos, but when charged me one price then later hit my cc for another $1.20 (so -1 star) or so for an export charge that just rubs me wrong...
It was suppose to ship from U.S. but I guess with the added charge it shipped from Canada.
Good prices too...
I have a small computer tech business. From time to time customers laptop screens get broken and I have to replace them. I have used laptopscreen.com 4 or 5 times and it has been fairly uneventful. I get on the site, find the correct screen, and order it. Several days later the screen shows up.
I can't speak to any of the negative reviews I see here but I can say all my transactions have been positive.
I broke my screen while traveling overseas. While looking for a replacement screen, I came across laptopscreen.com. I was a little hesitant at first given that the price was $20 below most of what I'd seen on other sites. However, decided to give it a shot. I would've given them 5 stars, but the processing took over a week to get the laptop screen shipped out. However, it arrived wrapped a couple times in bubble wrap, big "FRAGILE" tape, and intact. A quick search on the internet showed me how to change the screen on my HP dm4 in no time. Overall, I'm satisfied and would recommend this site to others.
I was surprised to see negative comments, but then again, people are more likely to comment when they have a bad experience.
I am a first time poster and first time laptop display repair person. My daughter broke her Toshiba Laptop screen. Toshiba wanted $300. Went online and bought it for $55 plus $17 shipping. They said 3-5 days ETA and if arrived on the 5th day from order placement. They had a video online showing the repair on the exact model. Worked great. Only problem is that the brightness button now works in reverse. I don't know if I may have connected the connector backwards or not but many people have the same issue with Toshiba's from what I can find online. Also the person in the video did the repair 10x faster then I did. None of these issues have anything to do with the business in my opinion.
Delivered as promised at a great price so I am very happy and will order again next time I need a display.
I've never replaced a screen before, but when my daughter dropped her laptop and the store where we purchased it wanted $350 to replace the screen, I had to find another way. The site made locating the screen model easy and had links to videos showing how the repair was done.
The experience was fast, inexpensive and flawless. My daughters friend had a broken screen on her laptop and I did the repair on that one two weeks later.
... be sure to enter your email and they will try to find it quickly and alert you as soon as the item is in stock. I needed an HP-Compaq Pavilion 17-G205cy screen. I dropped my laptop and fortunately only the screen was damaged. I almost purchased a new laptop but I tried this first. The screen price was very reasonable. The screen shipped out the same day with tracking and arrived neatly packaged just a few days later. I was able to follow their YouTube video and photo instructions very easy. Everything worked! My computer picked up right were I left off. HIghly recommended!
Teenager "accidentally stepped on screen" (sigh) causing weird visual effects, so ordered a replacement via laptopscreen.com. Was relatively easy to navigate website and find the right part for the job. Found a better video for replacing, elsewhere, but the video on site was perfectly fine.
Screen was shipped promptly, great packaging, and cannot beat the price. We had one pixelation issue, but I'm either giving it a little time to settle or just letting it go (it's so minor visually, probably not worth exchanging and re-installing). So if you're worried about pixelation, test carefully before re-assembly, but I'm assuming the pixelation was probably fluke. Thanks laptopscreen.com for a cost effective replacement!
It's as easy as 1, 2, 3 -
1. They have a wicked easy lookup so I found my screen in no time at all.
2. I ordered my screen and it was here in two days via priority mail.
3. Installing my new screen was a 15 minute job* made incredibly simple by watching one of their instructional videos.
* less than 15 minutes actually, but I took the time to make coffee!
First and foremost your prices are beyond reasonable =) I purchased 2 screens and I received $10 off the purchase. The 15 inch screen cost much less than anticipated. I like that every computer is on the site along with model numbers. I ordered the screens and I received them within 5 days. The screen installation video was very helpful. Thank you very much for your service LAPTOPSCREEN. Looking back I dreaded the whole process was going to be difficult but from ordering to receiving to installing was much easier than I thought.
Ordered ipad2 screen on a hunch I might be able to replace the screen. Received the product within a couple of days, payment was easy. Only thing I didn't like was having to register with their website. Guess that was a good idea, screen worked great! Until my middle son dropped it and cracked it, so I'm ordering another now. Lesson learned, no more Ipad's for kids. Very easy experience and product worked great! But could use some type of instructions... none included.
Got a new screen for my Dell Inspiron 7720 laptop (17"), installed it, and it works just like the day I bought the computer.
I DID use another web site for the installation directions; screen replacement on this computer is a lot more involved than most, as you have to open up the bottom to remove the CD drive and keyboard and unplug some cables, but it went smoothly.
Be careful with the ribbon-wiring terminals; they all have a clamping action you need to figure out so the cable goes in and out with no force at all. My cables had black lines to indicate how far to push them in before re-clamping the terminals.
My Laptop screen was shipped Super Fast, came with easy to install instructions, and works great! We have had it for 3 months now with now problems. I would definitly order from them again but hope that I don't have too;-)

Thank you for your review David.
Just a quick note regarding the $1.20 charge that appears on your CC statement under OUR name: this is your bank's fee for an International Transaction.
Our site uses multiple payment processors to ensure it runs quick and smooth.
Whenever a US based processor is taking too long to reply - a Canadian layover is used to quicken the transaction.
Some US banks charge a fee for money going to another country - because of "additional costs of maintaining their network".
For no apparent reason what-so-ever they always attach OUR name to THEIR "fee".
We abhor companies that charge additional fees with-out notice - this is a violation of the trust that our customers show by providing their credit card information to us - we will never-ever-ever-ever charge our customer’s cards for any reason other than when the customer makes a purchase - and the amount we charge will always be the amount shown in the cart and on the invoice.
CapitalOne is one of the few cards that does not charge this fee (this message is not endorsed by CapitalOne :) )
