I have had the worst experience with Kraken getting verified. I went on their site because usability and ease. Well my experience to verified has been far from that! Their process has been nothing but ridiculous at this point. I understand preventing scams and preventing problems, but when you start creating problems for regular customers it is nuts. I feel like I have to do literally what feels like back flips and front flips, then side steps. Okay, let me explain. Send a picture for verification, no problem. This is happens, they did not like that one. Take another, then I have to be in the picture. They did not like that one, because I did not do it right. Okay, oh wait. Now I have to be in it when holding documents and a handwritten note with exact wording. That I am not a scammer. How many times do I have to send in a picture with whatever, nuts! Best part, I do not even know, if they will like that one. So who knows what is next! This is all to get verified to send transactions out of their site. Yet, there was no issue with my verification to open and deposit money.
If I cannot wait to get through it and get small investment out. Do not put your money there. Go elsewhere! Worse experience ever, this is going on almost a month now trying to get approved.

I've been attempting to close my account and withdraw funds for over 3 months with no progress. Unfortunately, I'm unable to obtain a telephone number for their financial department or customer support, and despite reaching out, there has been no response. My trading consultant doesn't reply to my messages or answer my calls, and the customer service link on the website is unresponsive. The full story involves a loss of approximately 4BTC, but with the assistance of the financial crime commission APEXRECLAIM.INFO, I was able to recover almost all of my total investment. Scam and ponzi. I was locked of my account for months.I had to find an alternative by reporting to the team/website APEXRECLAIM.INFO who helped me look into the case and later got my refund of £73k

Purchased Bitcoin via their platform and went back to purchase more to find my account locked. Questioned this move to be told I'm banned for life without reason. Promised refund 15 emails and 2 months later, nothing, not even any more of their BS lies. My next step is to report to governing body.

What I noticed today is they have excellent references unless you happen upon a site (like this and trust pilot) and customers give truthful ratings confirming garbage company who refuse to refund money deposited.

Withdrawal fees are too much. BULL$#*!. For buy crypto or deposit fiat its not a problem but when you want withdrawal all is locked and when its unlocked you must paid 50€ of withdrawal fee. BULL$#*!

Kraken's fees are on the low side and they are generally well run. They have solid VC backing and for the most part I think they are trustworthy.

I use Kraken since 2019, and this past few months I can tell that they have serious problems with bank transfers and deposits. They are not able to track your funds in Euros. Also can reject your deposits with no explanation given.
I highly advise against this platform. Not trustworthy. At least in Europe.

Kraken's fees are among the lowest of all the major bitcoin exchanges. Sometime in February, I had my capital stolen from me in the name of investment that needed to be upgraded and trading fees. I eventually recovered it all through fintrack. Org. Basically, the fees you pay on Kraken depends on your last 30 days' trading volume. In general, the fees are based on a maker-taker basis.

This is a great Crypto exchange for those with some level and understanding of Crypto currencies. They believe in personal responsibility and require you use secure 2FA with at least a authentication app but they also suggest using a Yubbi or some hardware 2FA as well. They are one of the few sites that allow and even suggest this even in the crypto world.

They can be stringent on their KYC verification requirements and it's difficult to fund your account even after verification because they use a holding service that wants another more personal KYC I am not willing to do, So I transfer in USDC from other places bypassing Etana custody all together. I am still working to resolve this but it seems deadlocked,

Their customer service is very responsive with a 24 hour chat option which I really appreciate. Just like all crypto exchanges it has it's advantages and disadvantages but it has a solid platform and full API support so I use it. Minus the one star for KYC issues and forcing me to deal with a Central Bank subsidiary.

Please don't invest as they are full of scam. Firstly, they can not allow to use any trading platform. We must have to download from them. They claim no fees if you have 3 or more open trades. I lost $20K to them, they will eat your money away working sneakily in the background. Very difficult technical support. This brokerage, Kraken Bitcoin Exchange, is a total scam. After completing trades, attempts to withdraw money lead to excruciating delays. The support service remains unresponsive, and my funds appear frozen. Any hope for a withdrawal had long vanished, creating an overwhelming sense of disappointment and helplessness. Kraken.com is a scam,they closed my account for security purposes they claim and then only refunded half of the money they owed me, Don't deal with them it is stressful and it messes with your happiness

BEWARE - I've been a customer of Kraken for almost 2 years. All of a sudden Kraken closed my account however, the email they sent ended up in spam so I was unaware of the closure. I made a bank deposit of almost 700 GBP however i was no longer able to log in. When i tried i was asked to contact support. I contacted them via email multiple times as well as over the phone but a week later i still have no response.

Just now I am reading 100s of reviews and feedback on Reddit warning people that Kraken is closing accounts left and right and stealing peoples funds.

Since they are located in the USA they do this mostly to accounts in Europe, The UK and other countries.

Sadly I fell a victim of Kraken and O doubt I'll ever see my £700 GBP again.

If you are with Kraken BEWARE your account can be closed at any time and you can say goodbye to your funds.

Stay away from this platform, they are very misleading. After investing here, I can't withdraw my profit, all they know is to charge you more money. You can deposit but not withdraw. I tried to exchange crypto in this platform($#*!) but they block my account so that I couldn't withdraw my crypto. So I called $#*! support but they told me their support team would reply via email. But there was NO any email from this S-H-I-T guys

I started with investing $350,000 and went up to professional and when I tried to withdraw, nothing happened, they didnt pay me. And the site went down. Garbage company! I tried to open an account and transfer funds. I complied with their every request in the most transparent fashion, then got turned down and my account was closed with no explanation. The whole ordeal took 3 weeks. Don't waste your time with this exchange.
