Can not download any of my videos since last Sunday. Kizoa is closing as of April 1,2024. I have been sending emails, message of FB, tried the toll free numbers and zero results. No one replied. Nothing is fixed. How can we backup our videos if the Download does not work. No customer service at all. Just disappeared. As a lifetime pro-member which I paid for this is just unacceptable. Terrible.
I paid a for a Lifetime Subscription of Kizoa, but I have just found out that they have gone out of business! No money back! In fact, any software that offers lifetime subscriptions should have responsibility towards those who buy it. I even think that at the time, when I asked questions before buying, I did mention that. But there you go. I didn't use it much, but I had a number of photo collages there and did one every year for my birthday, but they are gone. They were not bad, sorry to see them go, but they should have contacted their clients and offered money back or something! Scams all around us!
I had a fine experience making movies here a few years ago, but then they tell you to pay if you ever want to see them again. It's been quite a while and judging from the reviews here I'm not even sure my movies, which I worked very hard to make, are still there.
The customer service seems very catered towards premium members only (and again, judging from reviews I'm not sure even they are satisfied either) so I just hope that someone can contact me to see if my videos still exist. The website tells me they do if I pay, but I don't have much trust in that.
Use to love Kizoa, have been usiing it for years. Until last year, Like clockwork, Kizoa site has problems AGAIN. I am a pro member and I want to burn my movie to a DVD. Now all of a sudden there is no more option on the bottom. Either I am missing it or my eye don't see well but what happened to the BURN TO DVD option that use to be on the bottom. Your site is useless if your clients can not burn the movie to a DVD? Very upset about this. I had to bring a movie I made tonight and here we go again, like last year, same time it does not work properly.
Download stops at 99%... nothing else ever happens after that. I send many email at *******@kizoa.com and *******@kizoa.com and no body answer or contact me. I'm very frustrated. Even after I pay for premium and I can't download anything.
Deceiving customers. It is not possible to upload video on YouTube. It says with "Starter" membership you can share videos on YouTube. When it comes to upload video it asks to upgrade the membership. After upgrading membership and paying extra money still to upload the video is not possible. Customer service is below "0". Noone replies emails. Noone cares. Cheating on customers. Very bad. Shame on You! Kizoa!
I decided to no longer use Kizoa and moved over to the Mac iMovie maker for my graduation videos. The problem is that I forgot to take my pictures and videos off of Kizoa and redownload them elsewhere. Now when I try to log back into Kizoa to retrieve my photos and videos that I worked really hard on, I can't access them unless I pay them for premium membership. I have graduation videos there from prior years of my students that I would love to have back. If anything Kizoa should allow us to have the videos that we made and just lock the abilities to start new projects or create unless you upgrade. But to completely deny access to our own projects that we already completed?! I want my photos instead of being blackmailed for money!
I spent the last few hours uploading photos to make a video to put on a dvd for my anniversary, only to realize I can not in fact download the movie. I feel mislead just as many others have posted here. The reason that I was under the impression that the services were free is that a google search turned up your site saying "Kizoa - Free Video Editor and Movie Maker" I do not believe the word free should exist because it is not free. Who would make a less than one minute video to download?
I too cannot download my movies I've made. They get hung up at 99% and is in my orders with a status of waiting. I also tried uploading directly to youtube but didn't work also. Hoping these problems are resolved soon.
A video editor should not reduce the resolution of inbound content. It's very limiting. Also larger videos of 20 min+. Simply wont finish or allow you to download. What's your target market? Is it just for short blips or something larger.
Transaction was slow. Had to call two times before someone was able to get my purchased account activated correctly.
Also I have started receiving a ton of spam since signing up for Kizoa and that is annoying.

I've been really pleased with Kizoa and made some great vids.
I wish it could be available on android and that they'd keep creating new animations, etc.
However, good value for money, easy to use, and some fun features.

After pouring my heart out on videos, just like others it seems I have to pay 15 dollars to download my video without watermark. Granted, but then the video crashes, freezes, doesn't seamlessly splice or merge, and many times you cannot find back button and your lose all your work. What is a 4 minute work takes 50 hours.
Horrible. Do not recommend. My money lost and wasted for nothing. It is sad because it has potential; probably the developers half-a---ed it.

We try to keep the majority of Kizoa free, which is why you're able to create a free account to make movies of unlimited time length to share online, or download to your computer if under 1 minute long. We also do offer lifetime Premium memberships for more advanced features. It's thanks to our Premium memberships that we're able to continue development, and do our best to improve Kizoa!
22/5/2020 I am a big fan of Kizoa and have used them for years and given excellent reviews on this site for them, but I really do not know what has happened over the last year or so. Have they changed platform providers or employed another company to run the website? They still have a great customer service department and reply to my questions speedily, but there seem to be glitches now that I never experienced before: No facility to clip within the site, the screen often goes blank while photos and videos are uploading, preventing you from continuing working, and slower to download. I do hope they get themselves sorted as I feel really loyal to this company and want them to do well.

Had some questions regarding my membership & payment which was quickly and efficiently cleared up in a very professional and courteous manner by the rep at Kizoa who returned my call; so glad I discovered this site and can't wait to jump in!
A great video editor has vanished! Hope it's a glitch, but ain't betting on it. The responsible thing to do would be some type of comment on any media available... Some companies just get corrupt and take off with everyone's mullah, hope this isn't the case here...
A couple of months ago all my photos were missing from Kizoa and they never came back.
Today the site is not working at all and I cannot access it. I get the following message "The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later." This is Kizoa specific, as I have no trouble accessing any other site and have been able to write and post this review. Very frustrated. Is it gone for good?
Hi Jane, we have been having problems with our server since yesterday morning, but our engineers have fixed the problem and everything will be back to normal a bit later today. Don't worry, nothing has been lost! I started off with the basic program Kizoa, and soon learned that it had more to offer by going Pro... I have not been at all dissatisfied with the program in anyway. Prompt returns upon uploading creation for downloading... and many designs to choose from... however I do like just creating my own style... so if you want a good program, choose Kizoa you won't go wrong.
Kizoa is extremely easy to use. Its drag and drop functionality makes for a quick learning curve. Simple to add effects and music. The only problem is that one must remember to consistently save your work at each and every stage. Too many times I have discovered that my progress has been lost due to forgetting to save before exit. There is no actual reminder to do this simple task before fully leaving your project (such as a pop up telling one to be sure and save the project while working on it).
There needs to be more multi select functionality. Moving photos or slides around can be cumbersome. I think the effects and styles are fine. The price was fair. Customer service and responsiveness have been great.

Answer: Hi Pushpa, it sounds like you may need to link your Facebook account to your Kizoa account by going to the "My Images" tab of Kizoa and hitting the blue and white "Connect" button in the lower right corner, in the blue Facebook space. You will then be prompted to enter your Facebook information, and once your accounts are successfully linked, please try again to post your movie!

Nearly all of Kizoa is free, as our Basic users can create movies, collages, and retouch photos and save them to Kizoa account. You will be also able to share your creations via email, Facebook, Twitter, or embed them into your own website. As mentioned, you can also download movies of up to 1 minute in length.
