Diamonds fell out

I bought 3 personalized dog tags online for my adult children as a gift for Christmas 2023 and the whole Diamond cross fell out of one of the necklaces I am not happy at all

Husband bought me an anniversary ring. He needed it sized to a 9. It was rose gold with diamonds. He called to get the status 2 weeks later, come to find out while sizing the ring the diamonds fell out. 3 months later no one knows whats going on with the ring. Its a mystery. Still getting a bill. Unbelievable

Great service from Juno
February 18, 2023

I want to write a review about the great service I received from Juno in the Chesterfield Town Centre mall. I have arthritis and have to get several rings resized, she was so patient and pleasant. She didn't try to rush me or make me fell like I was bothering her. I left feeling really good and trusting that my rings will be safe and handled correctly.

I visited this store today and it was a very pleasant experience from the moment I walked in. I was lucky to meet Adrian, the new manager, and he could not have more helpful and amiable. His staff, which has always been lovely to me, continued to do so today in great measure. Adrián's team gave me helpful advice and I would recommend them to anyone.

Amazing service

Have a 4k ring that was defective. Catherine Kay manager wasn't hesitant to offer me an exchange. She found the exact ring at another kay store in riverside. The ring was there the next day Friday after I was told it was gonna be about 5 days. Excellent service. I love my Leo diamonds. Thank you Catherine for going out of your way to replace my exact match ring.

Do not order online!

Husband ordered a ring for my valentine surprise, it was to arrive the day prior as we had been tracking it only for the day to arrive and tracking says it's pending and needs additional info. I called kays and ups, they blamed it on each other and no one could give me answers. I talked to 7 different people and was told something different everytime, no one knew where the package was and ended up it was at a ups hold center and we had to travel to pick it up. Still no reason for the hold and why they couldn't send it to us by mail, that was the whole reason for ordering ONLINE. Terrible customer service! Paying that price for a gift and having NOTHING BUT AGGRAVATION AND NO ANSWERS

Recently my boyfriend lost his mother and inherited her belongings. He was elated to find the beautiful ring that his deceased father had worn daily and was designed and made by his mother. He decided he was gonna get it appraised and wanted to wear it because it was so special. Unfortunately it was too small, so he took it to Kays. His parents had purchased jewelry at Kay's for many years.
We went to Kays off hwy 20 on January 2 and dropped it off to have it appraised and sized. When the associate looked at his father's ring under what appeared to be a microscope, she made a comment that all seven diamonds were impeccable, and that it was a truly amazing ring. We bought a bracelet and an Opal ring for my daughter as well. We left the ring in their possession to be sized and appraised, and they told us they would contact us as soon as it came back from the appraiser.
Almost 6 weeks later, and after several attempts to reach them by phone, we went back to the store. We tell them why we're there, and they start looking up our account. We were told they hadn't contacted us because my boyfriend's phone number was listed under another name; and they seemed generally disorganized and unprofessional. We were baffled because we have a Kays credit card, and have been there several times prior. Already frustrated...we were shocked when we were informed that a burglary had occurred, and my boyfriend's ring had been stolen on the 4th of January. We were literally in shock, and appalled that the nanager had no sympathy for a lost ring that meant so much to my boyfriend. He mentioned casually that other customers had lost pieces of jewelry in the theft worth much more than ours...as if that made our loss less traumatic! This situation became the most unprofessional experience of our lives! We were never notified about the incident. We were not given any insurance claim information. We were told the possibility of recovery was highly unlikely. The store manager showed total di
Sregard for the loss of a ring that had immense sentimental value to my boyfriend. Beyond that, he took no responsibility for the monetary loss. It is beyond comprehension that any business manages to stay afloat when treating customers as we were treated.

Good sales

I bought my husband a new wedding band from a sale they had back in July for our anniversary in August. I got an amazing deal on it! He's bought several items for me there as well, on sale
Their regular prices are too high in my opinion and customer service stinks. They're also really snobby for the type of store they are.

Cancelled order then refused to help

So I purchased a wedding band from Kay.com. Everything looked good, the order went through. Then 3 days before I was supposed to pick it up they cancelled the order. Kay dishonestly said it was a payment problem. It was not and their CS admitted to the "story". Kay stated: "oh, the ring isn't available as the kay web site isn't real time sales". Meaning they sell stuff they don't have. Kay refused to do anything to make it right. They directed me to wedding bands 3x the price that were equal to what I purchased (of course not really on sale). They did nothing and didn't care that my Wedding was now just 2.5 weeks away.

Men, Kay is a joke of a store and their CS is even worse. I would recommend you buy your jewelry at any other store.

My Disappointment
April 10, 2024

I purchased a ring from Kay's in the Peru Illinois store several years ago. Just recently I went to get it enlarged so I could wear and enjoy it. I went into the Kay's store and was told one of the diamonds wasccracked and they wouldn't be able to enlarge the ring. Much to my dismay they could sell me another diamond for the ring and replace the cracked one. What a joke! I went to a reputable jeweler he could NOT believe Kay's would not enlarge the ring. It wasn't cracked it has a flaw in the diamond! Kay's you are dishonest or you have unachivers working at your stores. Who knows NOTHING about the jewelry. Just a warm body behind the counter to push your wares! I will tell anyone who asks about your lack of scruples and lack of knowledge.👎

There's nothing more frustrating than not being able to pay your payment online. You go to the Kay Jewelers website only to be directed to a Genesis website. If you're like me and don't purchase often, you're not going to remember your login information. Having to jump thru 2 websites just to pay my bill is frustrating! The PW reset process was terrible too!

My Dad took his watch in to Kay Jewelers for a battery. The girl behind the counter made a big show of putting a battery in. She pretended to open a new battery, and put it in. Then she said it's not working so it must not have been the battery. We can send it off for repairs for $100.00. He declined and she didn't charge him for the battery. This watch was a gift from my Mother to my Dad. We lost her June 6,2020, the watch means a lot to my Dad. My husband and I took it to White Jewelers and they put a battery in and it is working fine. My Dad was so happy. His grief has been overwhelming, and it makes me furious that someone would try to take advantage of him!

Horrible Jewelry Store
January 19, 2023

Never buy anything there! I bought a small diamond chip ring with side stones. One of the side stones fell out and they want $450 to replace it. That is twice the price of what the ring cost! I am so disgusted that I no longer want them contacting me for the rings six month check up. The female I dealt with wasn't bright either. I will take my business elsewhere. People need to beware of this shady place!

Was lied to by the manager to make a sale

Acting manager lied to us to make a sale...told us when two rings were soldered together the additional warranty that we purchased would cover BOTH rings...we double checked multiple times and he assured us that this was true...when we picked up the ring we shared our experience and how happy we were especially with the extra insurance and the fact that it would cover BOTH rings...that's when we found out the truth...the manager that sold us the ring wasn't there when we picked it up...but the employee that helped us...brought in a second employee to confirm that we were misled and they would talk to the manager about it...we were upset to be LIED to...tried to express this to corporate...they told us the general manager would have to take care of the matter...we have been waiting for a call from the GM for almost a month...simple fact...they don't care...and we were misled

WONT SHOP AT KAYS EVER AGAIN

Rip off

It took 3 months to receive my order. It looked nothing like the picture online. I sent it back. They received the shipment 7/22/20, today is 8/29/20 and I still have Not been refunded. I paid via debit card. It shouldn't take this long to credit back my payment.

Shop at kay jewelry at greatmall Milpitas CA. The person that assisted me is Annabel. She's highly knowledgeable of the product, treat me with high respect, listen to what I wanted but also recommended great ideas/selection! She's very patient, friendly and courteous! Excellent experience. Great quality product and competitive price. I shop in this store because of Annabel, excellent customer service! I bought Levian, tanzanite with diamonds. Lots of Watches, Diamonds and beautiful gold chain.

Return policy

I retuned an item that I paid with cash. Out of three stores I couldn't get my money back so they to send me a check. Tried checking the status online it said there was an error, so I called in only to find out the guy at the store put my return in as me paying by check. I'm in a bind and after six days my check still haven't been sent out worse service ever.

I would rate kays with zero stars if it was optional. We have been with kays for 10 years and just substantially upgraded my wedding ring set and purchased an all diamond bracelet. The bracelet and rings were too big so we had them sent in for sizing. I got the band and bracelet back but not the main ring because I was told the jeweler "broke it to the extent he couldn't fix it and it had to be sent back out to a professional to be foxed" the bracelet was put back together wrong after taking out links and broke as I was showing the manager and the band had a raised loose diamond so it also had to be sent back in. It's been over 30 days now and I don't have even one of the 3 items because of constant issues on their end! The manager admitted to not checking the jewelry when it came back in but assured me they sent it out to a "more professional, experienced jeweler this time around" absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous!

Very dissatisfied

My ring has been in the shop more than on my finger and after at least 30 times I am told it's unfixable so the manager went and got a comparable ring and was putting it in the computer as an even exchange stopped and said she couldn't do it because I didn't have a a metal warranty. I said I have a warranty it's been to your repair shop at least 30 times and she informed me that they did that as a courtesy and no charge! I was never told that you need 2 warranties on your jewelry! Not once in all the times they sent it out to be fixed! I'm told it's only worth $27! Yeah rgt you can not walk in to Kay's and buy anything for $27! When I take my ring and pick it up I'm always with a friend my Mom or my husband who 9 times out of 10 buy something! I will never buy another thing from there and I will be telling all my friends family and my public forum not to shop there! Very disappointed and broken hearted as it was a gift from my parents and my Dad has passed.away. Very dissatisfied! I give them zero stars!
