Kabbage

I have been VERY happy with Kabbage for about 3 years now. Recently there have been a few system glitches with my connected bank accounts. Jared has been polite, courteous and all around amazing in his efforts to help! Thanks Jared!

I have been using Kabbage for 2 years, and I'm thankful for access to their funding for obtaining inventory. I sell on Amazon and have to purchase inventory to transfer to their warehouse. Kabbage has been a great asset for growing my business. As the revenue builds in the Amazon store, the payment is only released bi-weekly, so Kabbage is quite beneficial during those in between times to replenish hot selling items. The customer service is great, I have especially been helped by the assistance of a particular supervisor, Carolyn, who is amazing! Kabbage offers a short term loan with fees, but well worth it for suiting my needs. I would highly recommend them to prosper your ecommerce business.

AMAZING customer service by Jared today! He stayed with me on the phone for 30 minutes working to resolve the situation. I was afraid that he would just say "I can't do anything for you" like most customer service agents that operate based on a script. Instead, he was patient and worked diligently to help me resolve my need, evenly escalating it to management for me. As a business owner, I know how important customer service is. Kabbage, you've done a great job; Jared is a terrific asset to the organization.

At a time when My business needed it the most, I turned to Kabbage for help. Although there were some challenges that needed to be addressed on my end. All of the Kabbage employees that I dealt with with pleasant and Helpful. Whitley especially made me feel like she truly cared about my situation and helped me through the process. She helped guide me through the technical issues with applying. Thank you for being there for me, my Company, and its employees when no one else would help.

Kabbage is not a bank. Therefore it is not required to follow banking regulations, nor the consumer protections those regulations provide. They offer a "contract" for a cash "advance" and charge extremely high fees amounting to 30-40% of the principal, all payable within the very short time frame of 6 months. A Kabbage "loan" will destroy your business with dizzying rapidity if you are not careful. Do not take the bait. It is poison for your business.

Kabbage is great if you have a business that is stable. I use kabbage at the end of the year when our sales slow down, in order to buy products to get ready for the new year, when sales always peak, and it has helped me be more prepared for our peak months. I have been in business 6 years and know my market so it was not so much of a risk because I know I can pay it back.
But I would not advise it for anyone who is just starting out and doesn't know whether they will get the sales because Kabbage starts taking the money back pretty quickly and you need to make sure you have the money in your account!

Never again. Never will I recommend this company to anyone. They somehow took two very large payments out of our business account and a week later still have not returned it. Now our business account is negative and no refund of our over payment 7 days later. The staff is not helpful and very rude with their own mistake. I have asked for a transaction receipt to prove that they put the monies back in our account and they say that don't have one! Very scary for a small business owner. They have caused very serious issues now with our business and this loan should have helped. BEWARE to ALL!

I just intended to use Kabbage as a backup when I had cash flow issues in my business and signed up. I was approved and then was regularly hounded by rude employees, mostly it appeared to be from the middle east, on the phone and by email demanding to know if I ever intended to use it. I explained repeatedly that I would use it if needed. Finally I sent an email about how rude they were and they evidently dropped my approved line of credit as I received an invitation to apply for a loan again. Probably a good thing I never used them.

We received an email from kabbage that our new line was placed in hold only weeks after they approved it. The sent this message yesterday. We have a substantial operation and purchase millions in supplies. We have no financial challenges whatsoever. We were using them for pay later on alibaba which would seem faster than wiring money all the time.

I dont recommend kabbage.
Their process is misleading.
They want to connect to your bank accounts- fortunately we only connected them to a minor credit union account for payments.
After reading reviews I wish we had done our homework first.

Their coronavirus policy is hurting people. We will not be completing the "bank accounts" verification process now and have dumped them.

I applied for a ppp loan from Kabbage and was given the wrong amount. It's third grade math 2.5 x monthly payroll. I supplied my documents that verified what my monthly payroll and was shorted over 8000 dollars! I have reached out to my members of Congress to inform them of this unfair abuse of their clients. After reading many reviews they mishandled many small businesses applications. There was not a manner of contacting them by phone or email. They have left many with a lot of questions that need to be answered. It doesn't surprise me when I saw during the first allotted ppp loans went to publicly traded companies. What a scam.

Jared at Kabbage was extremely helpful in helping me get working capital for my business. The process was easy and I got funding within a day after being approved. I've read other reviews before applying and although their were some skeptics and truth to some degree, I'd simply recommend you read your contract before signing up. Know what you're signing and understand if you're able or unable to fulfill the obligation. Overall, I had a excellent experience with Kabbage.

If you own a seasonal business and you go through the application process, their qualification process leaves much to be desired. They look at the last 3 months of deposits. You can produce millions in deposits the other 9 months, but if your season is starting and you need a small injection of cash, do not apply as you will not qualify. I after reading the reviews, gives me the feeling that Kabbage is ran by Tony Soprano, hence you are dealing with predatory subprime lenders. I guess it was divine intervention that we did not qualify.
