The K9 Training Institute is a social impact organization that was formed to improve the relationship that dog owners around the world have with their pets.
We teach a large number of dog owners every year on the very best ways to train their dogs based on our own research on animal behavior.
We are especially passionate about training rescued dogs and giving them a second chance at finding a loving and caring family.
The company has garnered a positive reputation for its effective dog training techniques, with many customers noting significant improvements in their pets' behavior through the provided resources. The training methods, emphasizing operant conditioning and practical strategies, resonate well with users, fostering a sense of joy in the training process. However, a recurring concern is the affordability of the programs, as several customers express difficulty in accessing paid resources due to financial constraints. Overall, the company is viewed favorably for its informative content and supportive approach, yet it may benefit from exploring more accessible pricing options to enhance customer satisfaction.

The things described in the training made so much sense but I had never thought of before. These cues also made it easier for me to be calmer while training.
Very helpful. Especially the body language v. verbal commands & pulling on the leash advice.
I volunteer at an animal shelter & am already using these tips.
I am going to give a 5/5 score today. I am encouraged with what I have received so far, but I am just getting started. Piper is now 10 weeks old and I just started with the "watch" queue yesterday. I would say we have our work cut out for us. Hopefully I won't give up. That will be the test of whether it stays 5/5 or drops down. It is really difficult to give her the treat the one second she does make eye contact. Something we need to work on with a lot on practice.
Great and easy ways to train your dog without treats
Had been through email. Unfortunately, I am unable to purchase the entire course. But appreciate the email tips
The videos are engaging and uses common sense to teach your dog how to behave. These videos show amazing results.
Coco is very strong for me that she usually pulls me& she jumps too every time we are coming home from work. The basic ones that they showed on the video is perfect for me.
Thank you.
I loved the free workshop and emails that I get. They have great tips and tricks for dog parents.
The 3 steps explained in this free tutorial has expanded my understanding of puppies/dog behavior, how to encourage good behavior in a constructive way, and gave me tools to help me communicate commands more effectively. I have had training classes in the past, and this free tutorial has added a deeper element of awareness of a gentler approach that helps me too. Happier puppy, happy family. Thanks.
Everything is friendly and with knowledge thanks to you guys to have this awsome opportunity for me and my dogs
I subscribed to K9 as I don't have much experience with dogs. I am looking into adopting a border collie but I have no clue on how or where to start. K9 is a great place as they keep sending me info via email and that has helped me tremendously
The free workshop was informative and easy to follow. It held helpful tips.
I found great tips as a dog owner. We are going working on a couple of issues, like leash pulling and jumping
Very happy with the advice - haven't instigated it yet but it totally makes sense. For dogs jumping people always say (incorrectly) to turn your back on the dog - well mine just kangaroo at my back jumping all the time - your method makes complete sense.
The tips I learnt in the free dog training series, were enlightening and valuable, providing new insights into how my dog's brain works. Of course I realise that I have got to put in the work, to make it all work! Now therein lies a challenge!
When watching the online videos I learned a lot about my little doggo and how I can help. No other website or video had the same helpful information. Though it hasn't been long enough to tell if this training is working I can see a slight change in his behavior.
Getting puppies next week this website is very informative
The free video started like most free videos and was easy to tune out as an ad or things I had heard before. However, it went beyond naming the tips, showing video examples and giving meaningful rationale for making a change in my behavior. Glad I took the time to watch.
I really enjoyed these tips. I will be buying the book.
