The K9 Training Institute is a social impact organization that was formed to improve the relationship that dog owners around the world have with their pets.
We teach a large number of dog owners every year on the very best ways to train their dogs based on our own research on animal behavior.
We are especially passionate about training rescued dogs and giving them a second chance at finding a loving and caring family.
The company has garnered a positive reputation for its effective dog training techniques, with many customers noting significant improvements in their pets' behavior through the provided resources. The training methods, emphasizing operant conditioning and practical strategies, resonate well with users, fostering a sense of joy in the training process. However, a recurring concern is the affordability of the programs, as several customers express difficulty in accessing paid resources due to financial constraints. Overall, the company is viewed favorably for its informative content and supportive approach, yet it may benefit from exploring more accessible pricing options to enhance customer satisfaction.

The K9 Training Institute videos have been very helpful to me for training my Service Dog. I greatly appreciate the professional approach to dog training by Dr. Diaz who explains dog training in a very extensive yet understandable style. I would recommend the K9 Training Institute to anyone seeking professional dog training online.
Things start to make more sense when you look at dog training this way. A whole new aspect to me anyway and I am fairly up with good dog training. It really made sense.
I am impressed with the information presented and methods used
I just finished my first week of puppy training. Reggie is a 17 week old rescue puppy. It is so great to be able to start the training immediately instead of waiting for him to get into the vet for well check, shots and neutering. The vet is booked out for over a month. Reggie is learning so fast. He enjoys the training sessions. To keep my 3 year old dog from feeling left out I train him too. K9 Trainers are ok with that. Its like training 2 dogs for the price of one. They have Q&A calls taped so that is added learning opportunities. I will have my first call with a trainer tomorrow morning. Reggie is the 3rd dog I get to train. The first one from the beginning and I am confident I can do this with K9 Training Institute because the material is easy to understand.
We are joining and expecting excellent results!
We love the theory behind giving your dog a job and terrific methods to improve their behaviour. Using physical commands instead of verbal and that is is scientifically based.
I thought the idea of giving the dog a "new" job to do instead of what they think their job is was amazing! Definitely going to do that. I've seen it working already.
After years of verbal commands it's amazing the difference in the use of body communication. I work for a veterinary hospital and didn't remember how important it is for my pet to have a job!
The approach shared in the free training video while designed to sell products and services, speaks directly to my experience in equine training. I'm excited to learn techniques that I can immediately implement to achieve desired results with my K-9 partners.
Though I have yet to experience the Master class, the daily tips provide handlers a better way to train our best friend and protector. I hope to take advantage as soon as the pandemic surge in several states slows enough to stop traveling to hospitals under seige hoping to relieve overwhelmed healthcare workers. Boxers are amazing dogs but prefer I stay home. Though Buck travels with me he needs work to prevent bad habits. I will be looking into each emailed post and recording as soon as I can. The Master class is just what my boy needs to be as well trained as my recently deceased black lab who was my service dog for 9 years. This workshop promises to transform my rambunctious boxer pup into the disciplined well mannered boy anyone would be proud to have visit their home, hospice, rehab, outdoor Cafe, etc. I understand it only takes 15 to 30 minutes a day. That's a challenge for me but one I look forward to at any price.
I liked it a lot and hopefully it will get through to the kids as to why our dog does some of the things she does. I have already practiced using some of the techniques in the video and it seems to work great. Leash training took one day and she does so much better. Now I just need to get the potty training down and i might have a pretty good puppy.
Very helpful. I am looking at training in a different way.
The pointers were very good but I wasn't exactly expecting it to be a "wet your whistle" so you would buy into the actual training.
Teaching the dogs with the hand command signs and not looking at them is pretty nice. I never really thought about them not understanding English lol!
Very helpful video around dog training and using the 4 methods. Thank you!
Very good training advice. Shame about the price. Even with the discount, its out of my reach financially. I am a pensioner.
The way they explain things make it so easy to understand. I learned important steps already. It's so important for me to have a relationship with my dog, I do believe these steps in training will help me.
