The K9 Training Institute is a social impact organization that was formed to improve the relationship that dog owners around the world have with their pets.
We teach a large number of dog owners every year on the very best ways to train their dogs based on our own research on animal behavior.
We are especially passionate about training rescued dogs and giving them a second chance at finding a loving and caring family.
The company has garnered a positive reputation for its effective dog training techniques, with many customers noting significant improvements in their pets' behavior through the provided resources. The training methods, emphasizing operant conditioning and practical strategies, resonate well with users, fostering a sense of joy in the training process. However, a recurring concern is the affordability of the programs, as several customers express difficulty in accessing paid resources due to financial constraints. Overall, the company is viewed favorably for its informative content and supportive approach, yet it may benefit from exploring more accessible pricing options to enhance customer satisfaction.

Been considering K9 Training Institute for my 2 adult rescues, their training approach video feels fact based and makes great sense. And they offer tips if you purchase their training or not, seems to demonstrate their confidence in being able to deliver on the training promises.
All my neighbors comment on how well trained my dog seems to be. I reply that controlling my dog's behavior is always a work in progress. I am a former trainer and "Training Director" for a major state agency (retired). Good training has always been the result of focusing on desired performance outcomes and helping the trainee to desire to meet or exceed those performance outcomes. The two go hand in hand. The same goes for my pup. A rescue, she was a one-year-old terrier/schnauzer mix. Weighing in at 24 lb. I was told she would not get much bigger. After having her for just three weeks my wife and I brought her to a dog park and we were traumatized by her attempted viciousness toward a mother and her two children. Securely leashed at the time I never expected to be able to trust her around children or strangers. Four years later and now grown to 56 lbs. she is a pleasure to walk and I even get her to fetch my neighbor's newspapers and set them near their doors. The K9 Training Institute methods have reinforced and validated my training techniques. The Institute has helped me to understand what I have done right, what I can improve on, and what I needed to stop doing immediately. I subconsciously knew that my dog recognized my body language but I never understood to what level. For the first time I consciously recognized the hand signals I often used with verbal commands were key parts of my body language. I also learned the importance of positive corrective behaviors. My goal now is to train my dog to alert me when a visitor is at my door instead of going into frenzied barking and running to the door. I had no idea how to begin to correct this behavior until I was introduced to the philosophy and techniques of the K9 Training Institute. I could not have trained my dog to this level without first training myself.
Thorough and detailed explanation of the program and what it can do for you and your dog. The tips I receive in my inbox are invaluable. I just adopted a dog I'm training to replace my service dog who recently died of cancer, so this program couldn't have come at a better time.
The videos look very promising for training my dog. I am going to try the program because I have tried a couple of the training tips and they worked almost immediately.
The email I received about the mind set of a service dog, l read it and it made so much sense.
I was impressed with that outlook.
The workshop is full of good information and it works! After only the second day of applying a technique, our poodle is starting to jump on us less when we come home.
I did not know how body language was important until I discovered K9 Training institute. Thank you so much
I loved learning the few tips given in the intro workshop. Looking forward to applying them with your new pup. I've also subscribed to the masterclass as I believe in your methods! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!
I am a new dog owner of a giant rambunctious dog. The tips were remarkable. I can't believe there was so much that I didn't know. I have implemented many of the tips, and they are actually working.
Free dog training workshop really is free and have learnt so much in such a short time.
Well done and keep up the good work.
ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEOS TIPS AND TEST.
TIME AND PATIENCE WILL WIN OUT. WITH A HAPPY OBEDIENT DOG IN THE END
I appreciate all the help & tips you. Have given. I wish there were more tips on puppy's that bite on their owners and chew on everything.
In just 20 minutes I learned so much and became convinced of the solid expertise of K9 Training Institute folks.
He is very cool and helped me a lot to understand and train my dog
I watched the free video that gave some wonderful advise on how to solve excessive barking and pulling on leach along with others. The most helpful thing I learned was that dogs have ADHD and must have a job!
I am anxious to try those techniques which feel very doable. The choice of behaviour to correct is bang on and the video is helpful in visualizing how to correct.
