No pressure to sign up. Haven't yet taken the workshop, but hope to soon! Particularly interested in the four-quadrant training approach. And working with a reactive dog (ours barks when people or dogs walk by the house).
Twice I have taken the free workshop, but have not yet taken the masterclass, which I am confident would be worthwhile. I have issue with a permanent treat based reward, so I appreciate the more nuanced approach and the concept of "giving the dog a job" because that is what our dogs are most often missing in this day and age. They tend to be objects of our convenience and we do not do enough for them in creating a purpose for them to be confident and valued contributors to our household, as dogs traditionally were in a more mutually beneficial time.
I have had digs for many years. And I sure thought I knew what I was doing. But everything in your training really openned my eyes. It makes sense.
No scolding or getting upset. Just b good old bonding. Love it
Fabulous! I put the suggestions to work on my 6 month puppy. He had been pulling while on the leash. But when I started making him do a u turn and walk in the opposite direction he actually got what I wanted and I never had to speak a word. Inside of 5 days he was walking quietly on the lead!
NO PULLING! Yippee
I have a brand new puppy and for the first time, I am getting serious about training her. Because I'm not a young sprout anymore. I need her to behave as I move into my graceful years, and she's gonna be a big girl. Bernadoodle. These videos are very, very helpful, with basic instructions and tips on how to train and play with and discipline our new charge. Give them a go, cuz. They are amazing.
