We have a Maytag combo washer-dryer that just quit one day. I did DIY stuff according to leading causes of won't-start scenarios, replaced blown fuses and lid switch, but it still wouldn't start. Daniel gave me a few suggestions and a really good, pro video expose of my model and how to take it apart and test individual components. After disassembly and testing of individual components, I could still find no additional part failures, so lead diagnosis became poor seating of harness connectors. I reconnected all components while still disassembled, and it started working. Once reassembled it now works perfectly again.

Excellent service

I was impressed with the quick response and reassurance from the mechanic. My check engine light was on, but I didn't have a code so he couldn't explain what the issue was. I didn't know that I could just go to an auto parts store and they can get the code. I felt better after our conversation though. He said it wasn't a serious issue because the light wasn't blinking and it wasn't! I will use this service again. It was a purge control valve replacement. It was quick and cheap!

My second floor AC system failed on a 95 degree day. Could not get same-day service on a Sunday, so contacted Just Answer and was connected with airheatman, and HVAC Technician, via chat. I gave him the fault code and other info, and he worked me through troubleshooting the problem. He had me check several components and diagnosed the problem as a clogged drain line. I traced the drain line, cleaned out a drain trap, cut the drain line and blew compressed air through the line, then reconnected the drain line with a PVC coupling. I dried off a sensor that detected high water in the drain pan, and the system reset and is now functioning. Great outcome that precluded an emergency service callout and likely hours of waiting around for a technician to show up.

Good...but pricey

The help was great and the problem was solved with a patient and friendly tech. However, if you are not careful, entering the credit card info to pay the joining fee for $1 means the membership of $150 (or discounted $55) per month and the service fee of $39 without your knowledge. So if you can afford it, the service is good, the business is honest, the customer service is prompt -- all great.

What a joke

Waited forever for a phone call that I never recieved. Issue was not resolved. Totally dissatisfied. Then when I called the number given online for customer service all I got was a recording
