Ordered monster sucker air cleaner and FP3 programmer and received in about 3 days. Also ordered mufflers at same time spent over $1100 and thousands over the years. They sent wrong air cleaner talked to them they said they would process an exchange and get it out to me. After not seeing it sent 4 days later called they told me then would have to send other one back before they shipped new one. Their policy use to be they would send new item and a return label in box to return wrong item. A tway nailed there item back then a day later get an email saying my new order would be shipped the following day. They charged me an additional $35 and sent it slow as they could a week to receive replacement. Have bought my last parts from them will be buying from Dennis Kirk or Revzilla in the future. Worst customer service ever
I placed an order on 03/08/18 for a jacket and after 5 days of the order being "in process" even though it was paid for, I called and was told they were waiting for the vendor and my jacket will be in by 03/15/18 and will ship by 03/16/18. I was told to check the status on 03/16/18 and if it still said "in process" to call back. I checked on 03/17/18 and of course had to call and was told the jacket was in and will ship early the following week. Well here we are more than 1/2 way through the following week and it's still "in process". Riding season is about to start and I have no jacket. I should have read the reviews first

I was going to buy their Gold Club package, went through most of it and it came up with, HAD TO HAVE A PHYSICAL ADDRESS TO SHIP PACKAGE, how much room in my PO Box does it take to send a credit card size package?
I have no mail delivery at my house, and I have had a lawn mower delivered to my PO box, the only other company I have ever heard of doing this is Disney and I made one call and they said no problem, BUT NOT J&P BICYCLE PARTS, they wanted me to put in the local post office address and then my PO Box #. Who ever thought out this idea is a complete MORON web site only shows most expensive non related parts. I have gone back to the store, and really looked hard at the quality of their products not that good. Will not buy from them ever again, you do not save that much money, not worth the aggravation. This is not the only forum I will be posting on.
Just ordered a $230 Vacuum fuel valve. They sent me the wrong one. I had to send them pictures to prove that i know my right from left. And that even though i ordered a left they sent me a right. Then sent me an email back saying that i was right and that the correct item is back ordered, "Can you make this work" NO I CANNOT MAKE THIS WORK! OH, did i mention i am currently stationed in SOUTH KOREA. So now i have to ship this back, and hope that i get reimbursed for the shipping and cost of the part. I wouldn't order another part from this company if it were free. They wouldn't even give me the curtsy of a return label to ship it back
Ive ordered so many parts from these guys over the years and constantly get the wrong part, being in australia im sure they ignore all my emails to customer service about sorting it out. They do not respond to anything, what does gold member mean ZIP.

Im not going to be able to receive a refund for my express shipping because they were closed this New Years Day apparently they were not last New Years Day and no I have paid 30-40 dollars for a product to travel one and a half hours down to Melbourne Florida not only will it not come the expecting time 3:30 1/2/2018 Tuesday afternoon its coming tomorrow 1/3/2018 which may not seem like a big deal but I paid extra to have it shipped a day ahead of time when it couldnt even be shipped ahead of time! What crooks.
First time buyer, I made an order and Paid for 3 day shipping just to find that part of my order was shipped half missing. So all I got was a Sorry and we'll ship another set. And the killing part is when u need it. And Paid for 3 day shipping and still Gotta wait til next week!

Prior to proceeding with checkout, the shipment / delivery information states "Ships within 3-5 days".
This is not true. What it means is "Items usually ship between 3-5 days from leaving our warehouse, it could take up to two weeks to get the product to our warehouse".
So basically "it will ship when it ships". False information being given, be careful.

They said they had pipes on stock. I ordered 2 and then they said they only had one but for me to get the other one they would need more orders. Meaning if no one else orders that same pipe I wouldve never got them! I called they said by the 20th they should have more and I would get it by the 25th when I had ordered on the 3rd! Then they said by the 30th?!?! They should update their website instead of saying in stock... never would I buy again...

Ordered a V-Twin solo seat kit. Said it would fit my 01 Harley 883 Hugger. The bolts that came with it obviously did not fit. My mistake was not sending it back immediately so I set it on the shelf and said I would tackle it at a later date now it's just over a hundred twenty days and I contacted the helpline who said they're very strict about 120-day policy. Nobody's fault I guess except mine but you would figure when you ordered parts that they sell as a kit and say it fits that it would actually fit your motorcycle. I'm so frustrated I'm out $250 stuck with something I can't use. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to ordering from this company. Will never make that mistake again. While I'm at it never order anything from V-Twin manufacturing as they will not give you any customer service because they only deal with legitimate motorcycle businesses, not legitimate motorcycle customers of their products!

I called their service tech inquiring about fitment of a Primary Stock Derby Cover Gasket for a '16 FLHTK. Was told the James Derby Cover Gasket would fit. I questioned this since it is different looking than the stock gasket. The Tech assured me it would fit. So I ordered it & IT DOES NOT FIT & IS OFF BY A 1/2" in hole location. I called them & told them about this. I also told them they need to update FITMENT IN THEIR CATALOG. I am returning & NO more ordering from these guys!

Ordered a travel bag on 7/19/17. Still in process. 10 days go by Went to live Chat got the "WE are waiting on the Manufacturer to send". Just got off Chat again8/2/17 as soon as I showed displeasure I got the anything else I can help you with. Not to mention the bag is not even available on their sight anymore. For small trinket items they are ok. If it is a larger purchase, watch out. I tried to buy a seat from them, and they say "usually ships in 2-4 days". Been over a month and still no seat. No help from customer service, so cancelled the order. They also tried to charge me twice for the seat, which cost me money to put a hold on the payment. Also charge a card over $500.00 with no authorization to do so. Now waiting for days to get my money back. Extremely dissapointed in JP. Can't trust them either.

I have been J&P Cycles customer nearly 15 years with purchase of items for my club and myself over 30kUSD. Now it seems they don't want my orders anymore... I wanted urgently tires for my Steet Glide, placed order and found out that it was cancelled! When asking this from chat I was told it is possible scam and need to place new order via paypal. Doing that just to found out again from their website (no mails nothing to me) that order has been cancelled again. When asking from their super $%# friendly chat, I was told that I have cancelled the order...? Never sent anything there. When sending mail to their customer service (with attachments and explanation) got one line back saying I have cancelled order... I ordered tires from ebay and no more J&P anymore!

Two different orders, one with spot light that advertise sealed beams and were not, bulb burned out on second ride! J&P said to send it back and they would look at it! Paid $122 bucks and then had to order bulbs because I didn't want to be without them for an upcoming ride! Second order was for a windshield that did not fit as advertised, customer service rep had no idea what he was talking about! It was easier to order a replacement from somewhere else! They had no intention to help in any way! I will take my business elsewhere!

Order black straight pipes, shipping was quick (live in Ontario) came with scratches on ion pipes but would not be visible when i installed then, 2 hours to install on bike, looked good sounded better 5 minute run time and black bubbled of f pipes, contacted JP via email, no response, 3 hour to reinstall my old pipes a few hours trying to contact JP, will be sharing my experience on every websiite and bike meet i attend

• There is no warranty on exhaust pipes and mufflers with regard to any discoloration. Blueing is caused by tuning characteristics, cam timing, carburetor jetting, overheating, etc. and is not caused by defective manufacturing. No refunds on exhaust pipes once motorcycle is started unless there’s a manufacturer’s defect.

I have been a long time customer and gold club member. I have endured the companies attempted use of drop ship sites tolerated their horrible costly and time consuming mistakes. I recently went into the store to purchase items and attempted to use my gold club card and was told it had just expired 34 days ago and that my points disappear 30 days after expiration.
The clerk could do nothing. The next day I called customer service to see if they could remedy the problem and get my credit back so I could renew my membership. She advised that my points were gone and she would sell me a new membership. At no point was I alerted of the expitation and the renewal date despite them having my email and phone number.
I guess I will no longer be using J&P as they apparently have no concern for the people who keep them in business.

I do apologize. We do send emails to our customers letting them know membership is about to expire. If you didn't receive it, we may need to verify the email address we have for you on file. Once membership expires, we do not have access to points that were lost.

As for the material, I do believe that it is a synthetic leather material but I cant find a direct answer to that on Cobra's site so I am not 100% sure.
